Story
Tiana is a Labrador Pitbull mix. She gives lots of kisses and was very loyal to her family as well as me. She likes to jump on people and barks a lot but has never bitten or hurt anyone. She was my daughter's pet, raised around my grandchildren, ages 6, 2 and 9 months. My daughter had to move into a house that didn't allow animals so I took her in temporarily. My landlords have given me time to find her a home. But I can't keep her.

Story
Meet Lenox — Your Easygoing, Loyal CompanionLenox is a beautiful 5–6-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix weighing about 53 pounds, with a stunning brown and black coat accented by touches of white on her chest and feet. She’s the kind of dog who turns heads — but it’s her gentle, loving personality that truly wins people over.Lenox came to us from a hoarding situation, and despite her past, she has proven to be an incredibly sweet, resilient girl. She may be just a tiny bit shy at first, but give her a little time and she warms up quickly, showing her affectionate and easygoing nature. She is wonderful with other dogs, cats, and kids, making her a great fit for many homes. Lenox is the definition of “go with the flow.” She’s not high energy, doesn’t demand constant activity, and has long since outgrown the chaos of puppyhood. Instead, she’s content to be your steady, loyal companion.Lenox walks nicely on a leash, does well in the car, and actually enjoys car rides. She does pretty well with going outside for potty and will continue to thrive with a consistent routine in her new home. What Lenox truly wants is simple — to be your best friend. She’s approachable, gentle, and happiest just being near her people.About Responsible Dog Ownership:Bringing Lenox home means making a commitment to giving her the stable, loving life she deserves. Like all dogs, she will benefit from:Consistency and routine to help her continue building confidencePositive reinforcement training to strengthen her skills and bond with her familyRegular exercise and enrichment, even at her moderate energy levelRoutine veterinary care and proper nutritionTime, patience, and love as she fully settles into her forever homeDogs like Lenox thrive when they feel secure, included, and understood — and in return, they give unwavering loyalty and companionship. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate, and dependable companion who will happily go through life by your side, Lenox may be exactly who you’ve been waiting for.Adoption application can be found at this link-https://airtable.com/shrAznkHf1ruIqQwq

Story
Newton is a very sweet boy that was surrendered to us this past summer. The people that had him were not able to care for him and requested to surrender. Newton likes most dogs and actually feels more comfortable in the company of other dogs. Newton does very well with women but tends to be fearful of men. That is something that could be worked on with time and patience. Newton is completely vetted, housebroken, and cratetrained. He loves to run and play with both his person and his doggie friends. He loves stuffies, bones, and tug toys. Newton is a great dog that just needs someone to give him a chance.

Story
Kona is our youngest patient and is still healing. This sweet 5-month-old lab mix puppy was also hit by a car (because apparently the universe was feeling rude that day). She had: • A compound fracture in her rear left leg (already repaired) • A break at the femoral ball joint in the rear right leg She will need one more surgery (FHO) once she heals up a bit more. Despite all that… she is still a happy, sweet, wiggly puppy who likes basically everyone and everything. Because puppies are basically rubber and optimism.

Story
Max is a goofy, loveable doggo looking for a committed owner, friend and companion. After being returned from his adopters in June, Max has found himself figuing out how to trust people in the comfort of his foster home but it's time he go out into the world to meet his people. Max's foster family knows that the right home for Max includes the following things; 1. Daily walks to help him focus, bond and feel comfortable in his new world. 2. A crate in a quiet place where he can get a good night's rest 3. Enrichment toys and games so he can have a safe outlet for his strong desire to chew 4. Slow introductions to new people and dogs so he can feel safe and not like he has to protect himself and his family. Max's foster family is committed to his success in his new home so they are sponsoring a training package with Tried and True Canines for his adopters! Max is kid friendly but homes with kids usualy come with unpredictable chaos, so a home without children will probably be best for him. He has so much love to give someone who will give him a chance, and commit to working with him to make him feel safe. He's housebroken, crate trained and great in boarding or at Doggy Day Care. He is a playful dog so if your dog is looking for a new bestie, Max is your guy! Bottom line, If you're looking for a velcro dog who will repay you in droves for giving him a home, Max is your guy! ##2310445##
