Story
Hello, my name is Bella! Here at the shelter all of the staff and volunteers think I am a very sweet girl. The shelter believe that I am a senior dog but I sure don`t act like I am! I love treats and can do a lot of tricks to earn them. I`ve gone to doggy playgroup and done well with other dogs. I did not do very well with the cat in my last home. It should be known that I am a bit of an escape artist so a secure fence and a strict door routine will be important in my new home. Please keep checking my profile for updates as the staff gets to know me better! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption fee: $95.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2022 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. The cost of the license is $7.00. (Senior Citizen or Person with Disability-$5.00)Leash and collar included.

Hello, my name is Diego! I love being active outside! I’m a big boy with a matching personality and a big capacity for love. The staff absolutely adore me. Why? Could it be my charming personality or hunky hugs of love? Or my playful nature and goofy walk? All of the above! I am so much fun, friendly and sweet, and ready to find my forever family. I like cats, dogs, and kids too! I really enjoy playing with other dogs. I have the energy to go all day! I’m the perfect pup for an active family! Come meet me today; I`ll steal your heart for sure! Go, Diego, go!If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Story
A long road to recovery with many small bumps and turns along the way has led Hamlin to this day. He was brought to us as a stray by Beaver Falls Police back in January. He was an emaciated, urine and rain-soaked puppy that was near death’s door. Over time he showed us how passion, care, and support can help bring a neglected animal back to life. He is now a cuddly, energetic, playful pup! He loves snuggle time with his foster family and their dogs. He loves playing in the yard, running around, and most importantly having his fair share of tasty snacks. We know he is hard to resist, but we are hoping to find him his ‘pawfect’ family. He does have a few requirements: We feel Hamlin can go to a home with or without other dogs his size or bigger. Hamlin needs a very active family; someone willing to exercise him. Hamlin is a very bright dog – we even describe him as having a Malinois brain – he needs an owner dedicated to working his brain daily. Hamlin will not be successful in a crate 8 + hours a day. Hamlin enjoyed interacting with respectful children 8+ while in his foster home. **Hamlin is currently in a foster home. Please contact the shelter if you are interested in him!**Few can resist a puppy. These adorable, soft bundles of energy are similar to four-legged children with tails. And like children, puppies need a lot of time, care, love, and patience. A puppy will depend on you for frequent and regular feedings and walks, for guidance and training, and for much of your time and your love. Before you plunge into puppy parenthood, make sure to research! There are many rewards to caring for a puppy, but there are also many requirements. Puppy classes are highly recommended for socialization and a positive transition into your home. Puppies love to learn how to be the best dog for your family! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. I am right here in Boerne, TX waiting to find my forever home!! HaHa.. My name fits me perfectly as I am quite the little lover!! I LOVE hoomans and hanging out together with my person is my favorite activity. I LOVE snuggling on the couch getting tummy scratches.....ahhhhhhh! At 2 years young and 58 pounds, I am a perfect Medium doggy for all of your adventures in life...whether it be am extreme hike in the mountains or a stroll to the local coffee shop. I walk well on leash, know how to sit, lie down, wait, and fetch. I am compltely housetrained, crate trained, and understand a lot of human speak. Did I mention that I LOVE playing in water? Whether it be a swim in the river, a kayak float on the lake or a run through the sprinklers, H2O is my favorite element. My Mama dog was a beautiful Aussie mix and it appears that my Papa was a Labrador retriever!! My black, shiny coat is sleek, extremely short and low maintenance and shedding!! I am great with other dogs...I am just a very companionable dog!! I do need to make a confession; I am teriified of going to the vet!! Foster Mum doesn't know what happened that could make me so afraid of those in the medical profession, but our current vet comes out to the house. No scary trips to the vet for me!! As much as I LOVE my foster Mum, we would both like to be saying "Parting is such sweet sorrow"...so I can make you and yours my new family :) So, whether you are named Capulet or Montague, or some other name in between, I hope that you read my bio and decide to add me to your family!!

Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Prada - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Prada and Gucci are a bonded pair of sisters that were rescued from South America and brought to the US. They survived living off the streets and have blossomed into beautiful gals. Their foster mom says this: Prada and Gucci are dependent on each other. They survived from two starving puppies and have grown into sweet loving sisters. They are always touching or laying next to or on one another. One is never far behind the other. I’ve seen them gain confidence and start to understand what the good life is. Seeing them begin to comprehend and cherish the warmth of a nice dog bed and the pets of a loving human has been a real treat. They are quickly gaining confidence! They are currently with their older foster brother Reno, a husky mix. They copy his every move and he is a good teacher. He has housebroken them, thought them to sit and crate trained them. Foster sister Molly, a Siamese cat, is unbothered by the sweet girls and they do not even seem to notice her. They are gentle in nature and love to be cuddled and given attention. They like to play and wrestle in the backyard and come in for a nice long nap after romping around. They are not codependent on their foster human in the yard and are happy to go exploring together and keep busy with themselves. Gucci is the runt and about 5 pounds less and a few inches shorter than Prada. They are a dynamic duo ready to fill someone’s home with unconditional love. These girls have been through so much in their shorts lives that they deserve to spend the rest of it together in a loving fur-ever home. Could that be a home with YOU?!!!
