Story
Olive is a sweet 5 year old black lab. She loves being outside, going for runs/walks, and playing fetch. She is very good with friends and family she sees regularly, but gets anxious around strangers and visitors. She is great with our toddler and newborn and enjoys being around dogs she’s familiar with. We are rehoming her now that we have young children and do not have the time to give her the exercise and attention she needs. We currently live on a busy road in a busy neighborhood with lots of people and dogs nearby, which gives her anxiety. In a suburban or rural environment, she would be a fun and reliable canine companion.

Story
I found Laika wondering arounda walmart parking lot when she was seemingly only a few weeks old. Laika is a very playful puppy that has done great with my 2 dogs. Unfortunately, I live in a VERY small apartment that has a 2-dog limit, and as much as I would love to keep her, I cannot. From the best I can tell, she may be 15-20 weeks old. Something to note about her, I believe she either experienced some physical trauma as a young young pup. Her jaw is off to the side a bit. This doesn't seem to affect her ability to eat at all, and she is EXTREMELY food motivated.

Story
I'm relinquishing my pet due to my other older dog not being content with the situation. He's usually fine but doesn't seem to have any interest in being friendly with Butterscotch. We've tried different things are now just at the point of sadly realizing that my older dog probably needs to be our only due to his age. Butterscotch is such a sweet energetic puppy and deserves a good family who can match this for him. I didn't see taking him back to Walker County as option due to how frequent their euthanisia lists are and that's what i adopted him from. A 10 month old pup shouldn't be on a list like that especially not for how little time they had him. He deserves a fair chance at getting adopted.

Story
Meet Clover – A Gentle Soul with a Forever-Wagging Tail Clover is one of those dogs who quietly steals your heart. With her soft ears, soulful eyes, and tail that never seems to stop wagging, she radiates sweetness and gratitude. Clover doesn’t ask for much—just to be close to her person, feel safe, and be loved. Clover is currently being fostered in a loving home in Seguin, Texas, where she is thriving in her own gentle way. She shares her days with her best friend, a 25 lb Corgi, and the two enjoy calm play, companionship, and cozy moments together. Clover has a naturally submissive, easygoing personality and showed no concern around larger dogs at the shelter. While she hasn’t yet been introduced to kids or cats, her tender spirit suggests she would do best in a calm, loving environment. She is crate-trained and house-trained, rides beautifully in the car, and walks nicely on a leash. Clover isn’t a dog who needs constant activity—she simply wants to be near you. Whether she’s curled up on her dog bed, resting on the couch beside her foster mom, or quietly following you from room to room, Clover’s happiest place is wherever her person is. Clover does have special medical needs that make her story even more meaningful. She has Megaesophagus, which is well managed with a simple feeding routine using frozen, meatball-shaped meals. She also has torn ACLs in both back legs, which are inoperable due to her other medical condition. Because of this, Clover needs a home that can offer a calm, low-impact lifestyle and understand her mobility limitations. Despite everything, Clover remains gentle, loving, and content—asking only for soft beds, routine, and affection. Clover can be a little shy around men at first, but with patience and kind words, she blossoms into a devoted companion. Due to her medical needs, transport would be too difficult for her, so Clover is available for adoption in Texas only. Clover is searching for a special forever home—one that sees past her challenges and straight into her heart. In return, she will offer quiet loyalty, endless love, and a tail that never stops wagging for the family who chooses her. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Available in TX only! King is a one year old Basset Hound/Lab mix with a gentle soul and a laid back nature. He is still gaining confidence and can be scared of new things, especially loud noises, but once he feels safe he settles in nicely. When he gets excited he can be a little jumpy, though most of the time he is calm and easygoing. King truly enjoys running around the yard, going on walks, and soaking up outdoor time. He has a playful side and loves playing fetch with frisbees and balls. Tug of war is another favorite game, and he is a big fan of chew time. Knuckle bones, hard chew toys for power chewers, and anything he can safely gnaw on make him very happy. King is crate trained and house trained, which makes him an easy addition to a home. King does have a prey drive and enjoys chasing squirrels and frogs, and he will chase cats, so a cat free home is recommended. He also has a sensitive stomach and does best on sensitive stomach dog food, as treats like milk bones do not agree with him. King would thrive in a patient, understanding home that will give him time to build confidence and continue showing him the world is a safe place. With love and consistency, he will be a loyal and loving companion To apply directly for King, push the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-751 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org.
