Kobe is a great pet. I have had him since he first left his mother. He is now approx 14 months old. I am looking for a new home for him because with my job, now I have to travel out of country and I'm gone approx 1-2 months at a time. I do not have family in Ringgold, or Chattanooga so therefore I will have to surrender him to someone who wants to be blessed with a companion. Kobe has been trained with: 1. Come here 2. Stop 3. Sit 4. Go to bed 5. Eat (He will not eat from the hand of a stranger) 6. Get down 7. Go use the bathroom (He's 100% house broken) 8. No barking in the house He likes to go for walks and play fetch. All of his shots are current and he LOVES to take baths.(If you run bath water, he will jump in the tub himself...lol) I'm going to miss him but I would rather him go to a good home than to have him put to sleep. Gage is a cute fellow with an expressive face who does a splendid Husky vocal impression while in his kennel. He warms up to people quickly, especially if given a butt scratch - this makes him turn in circles and lean in with delight. He has started going to playgroups with other dogs and has made many new friends. He recently went to an off-site adoption event and we learned how he loves to simply lie down or sit in our laps and enjoy the sunshine. We never realized how calm, loving, and relaxed he is away from the shelter, as is the case with so many of our residents. Gage would enjoy a nice yard to run in, maybe with a canine buddy, and/or pleasant walks to continue his weight loss program. He's pretty good on leash and does not jump on people, which is always a desirable trait!

Bear is such a good boy! At 6.5 years old, he is one of our sweet seniors. He has a mellow personality most of the time, though there are times he is very energetic and playful. He has lived with children before and did well with them. He has some doggy pals in playgroup, but he can be choosey about which dogs he lets into his friend group. Destin is a 3 year-old big boi who enjoys snuggles, going for walks, and PLAYTIME! This over-sized puppy is nearly 90 lbs of muscle and love. He's described by some of his favorite volunteers as a huge dog who is simply excited about life. He loves to run zoomies in the play yards, and will never turn down a game of fetch. He's a great leash walker, as he's been training with our behavior team, especially when using a transitional lead (we can show you how to use it, too!). Staff and volunteers who work with Destin say he is such a good boy, and when he's not begging to go on walks, he really just wants to cuddle. He's young and energetic, and would be perfect for an active person who enjoys hiking or running, and can give Destin lots of mental and physical stimulation. Destin needs an adopter who is experienced with large breed dogs, and can handle his size and strength. It's hard not to love him though, when he shows you his soft side - his squishy face and big ol' paws are simply irresistible! He loves soft blankies and plushie toys, and is a total teddy bear at heart. Come meet this good boy today!
