Meet Tango Tango has been working on leash training and crate training. He loves to work puzzles and play hide and seek the treat! Lol He was born sometime in March 2025. He is neutered, updated on shots, microchipped, dewormed, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. He will also receive his 2nd booster and bordetella before leaving. Tango’s mom was a smaller black lab mix who had sadly been shot. Dad is unknown, but possibly a Jack Russell mix maybe? Fenced yard is required if there are other dogs in the home. The adoption fee is $200 Which covers spay/neuter, shots, microchip, heartworm test, grooming (if needed), deworming, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and supplies while in our care. The pet MUST be kept on heartworm prevention all of their life. To apply to adopt go to our website www.fureverfurkids.com *We do home checks (either in person or virtual) for each pet before approving an adoption.* The application is to be completed prior to meeting the pet(s) you are interested in adopting. If they are still on the page, they are still more than likely still available. Once a pet is adopted from our rescue, they MUST be returned to us, if you cannot keep them. If you plan on not keeping them their whole lives, please do not apply. Thank you for looking at our rescues in need of amazing homes!

Story
Chattanooga adopters: meet and greets will be held on December 16. Non-local adopters: transport is available on December 19. Laredo is a very sweet girl with a soft heart and a love for cuddles. She has a little sassy streak and isn’t shy about whining for attention when she wants affection. She can be sensitive and will hide when she feels scared or unsure, so she will need a patient home that understands she blossoms best with gentle reassurance and time. She enjoys playing with both dogs and cats, though big dogs can overwhelm her. Laredo is wonderful with kids and loves chasing them around during playtime. She would thrive in a calm, loving home that can offer comfort, encouragement, and plenty of cozy snuggle sessions. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to most locations within the continental United States. Please note: We are unable to adopt to residents of Massachusetts at this time. To apply, complete our official adoption application at yourlocalfurmama.com/adoption-application. Petfinder inquiries are not considered applications. Once your application is received, a member of our Adoptions Team will contact you within 2–3 business days.

Story
Chattanooga adopters: meet and greets will be held on December 16. Non-local adopters: transport is available on December 19. Tex is a very sweet boy with a playful spirit and a big heart. He loves romping around with toys and gets so excited when he discovers a new favorite. Once he’s gotten his energy out, he’s quick to curl up for a cuddle. Tex is incredibly food motivated and eager to learn, though he’s still working on keeping his puppy teeth off faces and hands. He can be a little sensitive at first but adjusts well to new things once he feels safe. Tex is good with other dogs and cats, though big dogs can seem a bit intimidating to him. He’s wonderful with kids and especially loves chasing them around in play. Tex would thrive in a loving home that can give him guidance, playtime, and plenty of affection as he continues to grow and learn. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to most locations within the continental United States. Story
Chattanooga adopters: meet and greets will be held on December 16. Non-local adopters: transport is available on December 19. Wrangler is a blue-eyed, food-loving chunk of a puppy who adores his fur siblings and has a serious passion for exploring. Leaves are his greatest enemies, and he enthusiastically “attacks” them during outdoor adventures. He’s full of playful energy and rarely slows down for snuggles—until he’s finally worn out, at which point he becomes the sweetest, sleepiest cuddle bug. He does the classic lab-style hop run with both back feet moving in sync, which only adds to his goofy charm. Wrangler loves his kennel, especially when it’s stocked with a fluffy blanket. He’s confident with the big dogs and holds his own with ease. He also gets excited to play with kids and especially loves chasing them in the yard. Wrangler would thrive in an active home that enjoys a playful pup with a big heart and a big appetite for fun. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to most locations within the continental United States. Please note: We are unable to adopt to residents of Massachusetts at this time. To apply, complete our official adoption application at yourlocalfurmama.com/adoption-application. Story
Chattanooga adopters: meet and greets will be held on December 16. Non-local adopters: transport is available on December 19. Bucky is all boy with a big personality to match. He’s rough, tough, wild, and not afraid to use his voice to make sure everyone knows he’s around. Beneath all that confidence, he does have a sensitive side and looks to his people for reassurance when he’s unsure. He is extremely food motivated and is always the first one at the bowl. He’s still working on using the puppy pad but is already showing promise with going potty outside. Bucky is a silly, expressive pup who loves to flop onto his back for naps. He would thrive in an active, patient home that can appreciate both his spirited nature and his sweet, goofy charm. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to most locations within the continental United States.
