**Fostered in Tacoma, WA, and ready for meet & greets!** 🐾 Meet Kawasaki! 🐾 Meet Kawasaki, a handsome boy who will fill your life with joy and excitement! Making his way to you, this cute Lab mix pup is on track to be a large companion, potentially reaching over 80 lbs as he grows into his paws—though, as with all things in rescue, that's just an educated guess! Kawasaki is doing wonderfully in his current foster home, where he's made friends with a pack of three dogs. He's crate-trained and house trained. He's even started to communicate when he needs to go outside by sitting at the door and whining, showing just how smart he is by also mastering bell training. Playful, sweet, and endlessly curious, Kawasaki is sure to bring you lots of joy. His treat motivation makes continued training a breeze. He's currently living with two teenage boys and fits right in, acting like just one of the guys. Plus, he's excellent in the car, making him the ideal companion for errand runs and road trips. Since Kawasaki is still a young pup, he needs a family ready to commit to his training and socialization. Adoptive families should be ready to help him perfect his leash skills, making him a fantastic partner for neighborhood walks and scenic hikes. Get ready for a life filled with affection, as Kawasaki will repay your love and dedication with lots of kisses and loyal companionship. Kawasaki might be your perfect match if you're looking for a big hunk of love to add to your family! 🐶❤️ Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/656e15bedf9fe6a8b503a29f Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Story
Jayce is a mellow, medium-energy, lovey-dovey sweet and soft boy looking for his forever family. Jayce would adore doggy parents that stay home on the weekends, a doggy sibling or two, and a soft couch to curl up on. We think Jayce is a Labrador, Pittie mix, but he is a rescue, so these are just our best guesses. He currently tips the scales at a soft and snuggly 80 pounds, fully grown at an estimated 3 years old. Fall in love with Jayce here: https://youtu.be/eMruI9XWZ2k?si=6f0Lty2sksNcC10D Jayce is a people-lover to his core, but it can take him a moment or two to warm up to new people. He’s easily won over with Pupperoni, his favorite snack, and gentle soft voices. Once he’s warmed up to you, he’s ready to snuggle and play! Unlike some of his pittie “cousins,” Jayce is not jumpy, or mouthy, he’s a very enjoyable dog to play with. Jayce is a dog that could truly fit into your lifestyle, and feel like a member of the family. He has a wonderfully balanced energy that allows him to be content calmly hanging out while you work from home, hang out with friends, or really just engage in any activity that does not directly involve him. Jayce is just a chill little guy- a fun fact about Jayce is that fireworks don’t faze him! His foster dad reported 0 issues on July 4. Jayce loves to be outdoors as well. If you find yourself in the garage tinkering often, Jayce would love to watch you work. If you’re a hiker, a morning-trail-walker, or a frequent park-goer, he would love to join you. He loves water too, he’s a big fan of the doggy pool! Jayce is an easy to love dog. He has great leash skills, great house manners, his foster reports that he’s potty trained, he knows some basic commands. He loves water, friends, car rides, toys, and belly rubs. He’s incredibly dog friendly and gets along with dogs of all personality types and sizes! Small dog friendly! We recommend Jayce for a cat-free, child-free home. He would love to live with empty-nesters, homebodies, work from homers- someone that will spend lots of quality belly-rub time with him. Jayce humbly requests that you stock up on Pupperoni, and dog toys in anticipation of his arrival! This sweet boy is ready for forever love, and excited to meet you. We are willing to test Jayce with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. His adoption coordinator, whose email is linked below, would be more than happy to answer any specific questions you may have about Jayce. Alayna, a director at 3LP, has kindly placed her phone number at the below as well, if you would like to chat over the phone! Story
Neo is a snuggly goofball looking for his forever home. We think Neo would make a wonderful family dog, with his half-couch-potato, half-zoomie-machine personality. Here at the rescue, Neo is a fan favorite, our behavior team adores him for his people-focused personality and his sweetness toward the other dogs. We believe Neo to be half pittie, half lab, and he’s the best of both worlds! Neo is a rescue, so his exact age and breed are unknown to us and cannot be guaranteed. Neo currently weighs in at a lap-sized 64 pounds, and we estimate his age to be around 7 years old. Neo shows his age in his frosted face, but otherwise, you could never tell! This boy is happy, bouncy, and so loving! When we introduced him to other dogs he showed us his playful side, running around with a big ol’ smile on his face. Watch Neo here: https://youtu.be/PC_Tgwzlp28 My favorite thing was how easily he calmed down as the other dogs were settling in to smell around and take a break. Whenever he wasn’t playing, Im sure you can guess where he was, with the people, seeking out and sharing love. Neo is a vocal boy, who will carry on a conversation, talking to you. It’s not barking, but vocalizations. Neo is a complete goofball, capable of making anyone laugh. He rolls around and makes bug eyes at you, sticks his nose on the side of the couch to say hi, and has a never ending rotation of silly faces. He’s great with kids, and has spent time with kids as young as six. See him interact with kids for yourself in his video. Neo’s ideal home would have a yard for smelling-about and taking sunbaths in. A mellow friend, who knows a little play should always lead to a lot of rest, would be ideal. He is also fulfilled by his affection for people, so being an only dog sounds like the good life too! The one no-go for Neo is kitties. Not everyone is a cat-person and that is okay! New was so interested in out house cat Tom that we are sure he would try to start a fun game of chase and that isn’t fun for anyone, though Neo might disagree. Neo is a loving and loyal companion to all looking for his fur-ever family. If you are in search of a classic good-boy, you have found him! If you have any questions about Neo or would like us to test him for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure he is the correct fit for you and your life! Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions! Story
This infectiously happy guy is named Mack! Mack is the life of the party- a friend to all, and a force of positivity and hilarity. He’s a great adventure dog, a snugglebug, kid-friendly, and dog-friendly! We think Mack is a Lab, Pittie mix, just under two years old. He is a rescue, so these are just our best guesses! Mack currently weighs in at a highly huggable 55 pounds. Fall in love with Mack here: https://youtu.be/58WAwcmbLjI?si=wG3cbqwU87-1g1u4 Mack is great with kids, and kids are great with Mack! Mack has a childlike wonder for the world, and it feels like kids see that in him. He’s best friends with a two year old and a four year old, and watching them interact is truly heartwarming. Mack was born to be a family dog, and he’s so ready to meet his forever family. Mack is a total socialite, he does great with humans in any environment. His foster family regularly takes him out and about, and he does really well in public! He’s easy in the car, great on leash, and friendly with everyone that he meets- a total “go anywhere dog.” Mack is currently fostered in a home with two other dogs, he gets along well with both! Mack is small dog friendly, too. Mack’s playstyle is very “life of the party,” so we think he would do best in a home with another rambunctious player, that won’t mind a game of chase, or romping around the yard together. Mack’s energy level generally can be described as medium to high energy, he has an exuberance for life and a natural optimism that will fill even your gloomiest days with laughter and excitement. Mack also enjoys his playtime with us humans, he loves to play with toys, and he’s a great fetch player! With all of that love for life, Mack also has a great ability to learn. He knows a handful of commands already, and he’s very food motivated. He will be an enjoyable and rewarding dog to train further! Mack’s foster family brags that this smart boy is already crate and potty trained, he picked it up quickly. He had great house manners too! He loves treats, and adores his Kong. Mack is a fun-loving guy, but he knows when to chill too. He absolutely loves a good couch snuggle, and he soaks up attention with so much gratitude. This sweet boy is ready to adore, and be adored by you. Mack’s ideal home has a backyard for him to zoom in, maybe another doggy sibling or two, and dog savvy kids, that will know how to play with his big, goofy pittie energy. Mack does request that we not force him to live with any kitties! We think Mack would make an excellent family dog, but we do recommend kids ten and up for him. We are willing to test Mack with anything you may need to ensure that he is a perfect fit for your family, home and life. We can make most anything happen. Just let us know! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: ● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family ● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test ● 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion ● A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions ● 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription ● Coupons for a fun visit to Petco ● 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions ● Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer ● Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Friendly and loyal and affectionate and social and adaptable and trainable and SO smart, all of the things that good dogs are made of! Meet one of the goodest girls in the world, Rita! This stunning girl is suspected to be a Black Lab, Pittie mix. We estimate her to be around 2 years old. Rita is a rescue, so her exact age and breed are unknown to us and cannot be guaranteed. Fall in love with Rita here: https://youtu.be/fvQ75yPEq4I?si=5lkITQOA52BpvmWY Rita has all of the makings of a truly GOOD dog. She has an awesome temperament, she’s great with other dogs- so tolerant and playful with them, she’s great at navigating all kinds of doggy interactions. Rita is also a total nature girl- she doesn’t mind getting her paws muddy, and jumped straight into the swimming pool here at the rescue! A total water dog, this girl will be an amazing adventure buddy. Rita is such a people-focused and affectionate girl, but not too pushy about her affection-needs. In Rita’s quest for pets, so far she’s learned that a few things work: rubbing up against your legs, or sitting down between your legs while you’re standing, and gazing up at you with her beautiful big brown doe eyes. Rita is so, so smart and highly trainable. She’s food-motivated, and her routine check-ins with humans tell me that she sees herself as more of a “follower” than a “leader.” This girl is eager-to-please and ready to become your perfect pup! Rita already knows a handful of basic commands, including sit and shake. She’s still learning her leash manners, but she’s making great progress. With a little bit of polishing, Rita will be amazing on leash in no time. She has amazing house manners already, calming down inside and melting into a big snuggle-bug. Rita was quick to do her “business” outside, and didn’t have any indoor accidents at the rescue. Rita’s perfect home has at least one human to call her own, and she’s not picky about anything else. We know that she could peacefully coexist with doggy siblings! Considering her temperament, we suspect she would do well with kids. She would appreciate walks and exercise to keep her healthy and happy, and plenty of treats! Rita would love a family that’s willing to teach her all sorts of commands, she loves learning. Here at the rescue, Rita met our house cat, Tom, who says that Rita was a bit rude to him, and probably shouldn’t have any kitty roommates! Rita is such a sweet, loving good girl with so much love to give, such an eagerness to learn, and so much patience with other dogs. We LOVE Rita here at the rescue, and I’m confident that you will too! Meet Rita virtually via video call, or in person in Friendswood, Texas. Apply to adopt Rita today, she is ready to meet her forever family! We are willing to test Rita with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Please email megan.rhoads@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. Story
Lexie..she's been here awhile! Honestly, she's an excellent dog but requires a structured family. She's fearful of strangers, and although we're addressing it, she needs time to warm up to new people. She may bark and growl, but if you disregard her and allow her to approach you on her terms, she integrates you seamlessly into her pack. She may not be the dog for everyone, but she isn't a challenging pet either. She's highly food-motivated, house-trained, walks well on a leash, understands the command to sit, and has a good recall within her fenced yard (as we don't practice off-leash). She behaves well indoors, although she's likely to eat your food if you leave it unattended - a habit that probably won't change. LMAO She adores stuffed toys, enjoys car rides, and is fond of walking and hiking. She's intelligent, yet can be a couch potato on less active days. Belly rubs are her favorite. Her silly and goofy nature, once she's comfortable with you, will keep you laughing constantly. Truthfully, I'm not super experienced with dogs like her. But I've really had no issues if I just let her do her thing with new people. IF I don't want to deal with it because it's a person that is only there for a second I tell her kennel and she runs right in. No problem. We want her in a no kids family or older kids. Active is great whether just walking her taking her on adventures. Someone that is comfortable and experienced with dogs as she wouldn't be a good fit for a first-time dog owner. Would prefer they own a home with a fenced yard as she loves to be outside. Applications are at www.mainstreetmuttrescue.com Adoption fee is $325 and she's spayed, up to date on vaccines and chipped

Story
Benzo is an excitable guy that needs training and patience. He comes to us like so many of our dogs, from a family with no time for a big dog. He is described as active, friendly, independent, protective, playful, and affectionate. He is said to be house broken and will stand at the door when he needs to go potty. He will bark and get very excited when strangers come to the door. He enjoys a great back scratch. He has lived with children and a small dog. He will chase a car if given the chance. This guy is looking for a fenced yard, a family with time for him and someone willing to consistently work with him.

Story
We adopted Daisy from a rescue when she was four months old. She is now 1 year 8 months old and weighs 46 pounds. She is very sweet and energetic. Daisy is current on all shots and healthy. We have a sudden job change and need to move, and we can't bring her with us. She has existed well with our four children, ages 13, 11, 9 and 7. She is crate trained and spends her time inside in the crate or in our backyard. Accidents are very rare. She has limited experience with other dogs, but during dog training, they named her the "party girl" because she was playful with all the other dogs. She has never bitten anyone. On walks, she loves to carry things in her mouth. We hope she finds a loving family who is good with dogs and can continue to train her. She is food-motivated and loves to play fetch. Scratch her belly and she will love you forever. We are located in Mount Vernon WA, and heading south to move.

Story
Millie is a 3-year old mix -- we believe Lab and German Shephard -- but she could have other breeds in her. We've had Millie since she was a puppy. She is the sweetest dog and is smart and listens very well. She's very submissive and is a people pleaser. She's been around kids of all ages. The reason we are rehoming her is we've had a few incidences with one of our small dogs (we have 3 other smaller dogs) where Millie is acting aggressively toward her with the last incident resulting in an injury and now she's terrified of Millie. We are heartbroken because Millie is such a good dog. I would recommend her not being with smaller dogs. She has not acted aggressively toward any other dogs besides our one.

Story
Goldie, she's a sweet dog. Unfortunately for us though, we have have been getting an increasingly more busy schedule that doesn't match her physical needs. On top of that, we're not sure if it is her fur or her saliva but, something about her causes allergic reactions for half of my family. We originally got her as a way to encourage my brother to spend more time outside of our home. Turns out though, that work would get us all too busy to properly take care of her. She hasn't been brought inside of house to be trained however, she's a good listener and can learn skills easily given the proper time. She is also quite active so, having a big enough place for her to roam or being able to take her on frequent walks is necessary for her. We believe that she is a mix of a Husky, German Shepherd, and Black Labrador combined. It hasn't been confirmed though, as the person we purchased Goldie from was the second owner and did not know her origins either. We just wish for her to be happy.
