Jobe is a friendly but shy guy. It takes him a bit to connect to a person. He can be reactive toward other dogs. He may have a long term health issue that is causing hair loss. At this time he is still being evaluated.

This dog was brought in from the Concrete area. He is said to be friendly, easy going, and does well with other dogs. He is visually impaired and is said to have hearing issues.

We adopted Daisy from a rescue when she was four months old. She is now 1 year 8 months old and weighs 46 pounds. She is very sweet and energetic. Daisy is current on all shots and healthy. We have a sudden job change and need to move, and we can't bring her with us. She has existed well with our four children, ages 13, 11, 9 and 7. She is crate trained and spends her time inside in the crate or in our backyard. Accidents are very rare. She has limited experience with other dogs, but during dog training, they named her the "party girl" because she was playful with all the other dogs. She has never bitten anyone. On walks, she loves to carry things in her mouth. We hope she finds a loving family who is good with dogs and can continue to train her. She is food-motivated and loves to play fetch. Scratch her belly and she will love you forever. We are located in Mount Vernon WA, and heading south to move.

Meet the fabulous Burt Grace! He is currently only 37 pounds, 8 months old, and we think he may be Lab mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this dog is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize dogs. So, this dog needs you! If you choose a dog from this rescue, it saves his/her life as well as the life of another in its place. Burt is treat-motivated, so this smart boy learns quickly with the right motivation. His foster family says that he loves chasing balls – they are his favourite toy. This puppy has energy to play and investigate everything around him, and is ready for anything, adapting to different situations with ease. He will be the perfect walking or running buddy, just happy to relax afterwards right next to you (or hanging halfway off your lap – that’s just his easygoing and loving attitude). Burt loves playing with his foster siblings, so would do well in a house with other dogs, but he would certainly soak up all the love and affection in a house where he reigns supremely solo too. Viola was found as a stray so we know very little about her. She walks very well on leash. She does not appreciate barking dogs. She is nervous around new people but given a moment to sniff, she warms up quickly.

My name is Cooper. I have 8 weeks of obedience under my belt, but I could use more. I enjoy long walks, beach combing, sunsets next to my people. I play fetch, I enjoy Nylabones and almost all toys that squeak, bounce or allow tug time. I am vocal and will roam if left outside. I do jump on people that I am meeting, so small children will need to be monitored around me. I am used to a dog door when left home alone. I have not been around cats. I will garden with you and will also chew things that seem fun. I am young, trainable and ready for a new family that can devote time to training and exercise.
