Story
Howie has a comical, energetic nature. He loves to play, and soft toys with squeaky are hard for him to resist. When I tried to take it from him he wanted to keep it, but then decided that if I threw it for him that was great fun. He laid down beside me loving the noise that was coming from his prize toy. He is good with all body handling with happy tail wags enjoying the interaction. He let me take his food bowl from him while he was eating. He met the dogs outdoors wanting to play, it is unknown how he is with cats, but the mechanical mouse unnerved him, he looked like a woman on a chair. With children in his last home he is very playful and may not be best with small children. Come meet this happy guy that sings to his toys when it squeaks. I love a dog with personality, and he certainly has a lot of it.

Story
This gem of a dog enjoys a game of soccer, tummy rubs, and spending time in the sunshine. We are not sure of her history, but she did come in with her nine puppies. We currently have her paired with a young dog to teach him good manners. She is skittish but nice. Once she warms up to new people she is fun to play with. She does not like coming back inside. She will need a fully fenced yard to spend time in off-leash. We do not know her history with cats or other adult dogs. She loves good food and companionship.

Story
We adopted Daisy from a rescue when she was four months old. She is now 1 year 8 months old and weighs 46 pounds. She is very sweet and energetic. Daisy is current on all shots and healthy. We have a sudden job change and need to move, and we can't bring her with us. She has existed well with our four children, ages 13, 11, 9 and 7. She is crate trained and spends her time inside in the crate or in our backyard. Accidents are very rare. She has limited experience with other dogs, but during dog training, they named her the "party girl" because she was playful with all the other dogs. She has never bitten anyone. On walks, she loves to carry things in her mouth. We hope she finds a loving family who is good with dogs and can continue to train her. She is food-motivated and loves to play fetch. Scratch her belly and she will love you forever. We are located in Mount Vernon WA, and heading south to move.

Story
This cutie is Cayanne. She is currently just over a year old and we think she may be a Labrador Retriever mix, but with rescue it’s always a mystery! Cayanne lives in a foster home with a shy, 10 year old boy and is so sweet and gentle with him. She loves to give her foster family licks, kisses and gentle nudges to show her affection. Cayanne is completely trained in her kennel and sleeps all night with no problems! She is also 100% house trained and hasn’t had any accidents in the house! Her foster mom reports she is an amazing house guest! She loves to sniff her surroundings and is so easy on the leash. She enjoys daily runs and walks with her foster mom! She is bit of a digger but nothing that can’t be resolved with attention and redirection. She is a very playful girl and loves giving kisses and but shy when meeting new people. She needs to be gently introduced by letting her smell them. She is more fond of women than men but adjusts after awhile. She is still learning to fetch but loves her chew toys! Please consider giving Cayanne a loving, nurturing home. Cayanne would enjoy a nice fenced in back yard or living on some acreage where she can roam, play and run free to her hearts content! She will need a home with another doggy friend as she thrives on doggy companionship. Cayanne is young so she will need a family that can commit to training and socialization and all the stuff puppyhood comes with. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Adoption Link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6488b469943845efb20f2e9f Questions? Story
Dog friendly, cat friendly, kid friendly, and will do nearly a back flip to catch a tennis ball. This is a really cool dog. Sporty is by far one of the coolest dogs I’ve met because of her blend of athleticism, best friend/devoted, affectionate personality. She is always so happy and you can tell by her cute little wiggle butt . She’s a happy girl and enjoys the simple things in life. She loves swimming, yard time, couch time, errands in the car, or just hanging out with a toy while you work at home. She’s versatile. She met my 3 year old and 5 year old kids and loved them. My five-year-old thought she was the coolest dog ever because of her ability to catch a ball, no matter how bad your throw is. She makes you think you’ve thrown a strike every single time because she will catch it no matter what! She is very talented with a tennis ball. In fact, she loves it so much that she will sit or lay down or learn other tricks just for the ball, you don’t even have to use treats. Apart from her athleticism, she really does also have good manners in the home. We hung out in the kitchen and on the couch and she was just glad to be near us. She so desperately wants to please you. Watch her video here: https://youtu.be/quTjjjz66HA Sporty Spice is a gorgeous brindle shepherd mix approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 46 lbs and is full grown! She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Sporty is dog friendly and did great with all of the dogs we introduced her to. She would go up to meet them and then go on about her day. Sporty wasn’t overly playful with the other dogs and this can change once in a home. She prefers calmer dogs that aren’t very rowdy or vocal with their play. For the most part, Sporty simply enjoyed being outside enjoying the fresh air and watching everyone around her or you would find her soaking in the pool. She also did great during our cat test and was very avoidant of them. She was so unphased by our kitty residents that she even shared the couch with one. We do not know if she has ever lived with a cat before nor can we guarantee that things won’t change once in a home. We do believe that with slow and proper introductions she can coexist with cats. Sporty will be best placed in a home with a backyard in a calmer residential environment and with other moderately playful dogs that know when to take breaks just like she does. She is treat motivated which will make any continued trained a breeze. She is also smart too! Sporty already knows how to sit and lay down. To our knowledge, she is crate trained and potty trained but may need a reminder about where the appropriate potty places are once in a home. We are willing to test Sporty Spice with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Story
FOSTERED IN SEATTLE & READY TO MEET YOU!! Titus Landon is dog friendly, kid friendly, cat friendly, and an absolute dream to have around. His innocent, submissive, joyful nature make it easy for him to meet new people and other dogs, and easy to take places with you. He is such a happy guy! He knows no stranger and everyone is his friend. He always has a smile on his face and he has so much personality. He's a goofy fun loving fella and will forever keep you entertained with his playful antics and his expressional face. He makes the silliest facial expressions that make you question what is going on in this silly handsome guy’s head. He melts into you for love, will cuddle on the couch, lay out in the yard, or just lay at your feet. He was completely comfortable around my three-year-old and five-year-old kids and rolled over immediately for them to rub his stomach. He has a very innocent, happy demeanor. Titus will be the fastest and friendliest dog at the dog park. He loves his Kong filled with treats and chewing on his antler. He is quickly learning to walk well on the leash and loves time outside. Throw him a ball and he will chase it and then no longer need you in the throw and catch game…he can do it all by himself. Belly rubs are his favorite and will put him to sleep. He is very active, but calms down quickly and will transform into a couch potato with you while binge watching Netflix! He is not aggressive or territorial with food, treats or toys. Great with children and so gentle. Titus is just the Bestest Boy! He’s not perfect, but he is very close! Watch his video here: https://youtu.be/dUxa11qjKDs?si=mfpBj7es6XAInvcC Titus Landon is a handsome labrador mix approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 50 lbs and is full grown. We do not expect him to get much bigger if at all. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Titus is a lover boy and man oh man does he love his people and those belly rubs! He will flop over on his back to invite you to rub his belly and he will stay like that for however long you let him. He also doesn’t mind being held like a baby either. Titus believes he is a 10 lb lap dog and loves every second of it. He is gentle with his love and affection and leans into you for all of the snuggles and hugs. Not only is he great with people Titis is very dog friendly as well! He loves to play and his favorite game is to play chase. He did great with all of the dogs we introduced him to and met dogs he had never met before very fast. He did great with all different types of play styles too. He is very tolerant and it takes a lot to overwhelm him. Titus will engage and encourage other dogs to play and can be a little pushy. He does eventually get with time and sometimes human intervention that they don’t want to play and he then goes to find a new playmate or he would go seek attention from his people. Titus would do best in a home with another moderately playful dog and that is tolerant and will also take breaks on their own. He was interested in the cats during our cat test and would try to chase them but all in good fun. He had no intent on wanting to harm the cats, he just wanted to play with them. He would do best with dog savvy cats that are not very active and rarely come around. Titus does have energy but also knows when to settle down in the home and loves to snuggle. He would be best placed in an active home with a backyard where he can run around and explore the outdoors, work in the garden with you and he would also be a great hiking and running buddy. We also believe that he would be a great family dog with kids. He is not jumpy or mouthy and is very tolerant with physical touch. Titus will need to polish his leash skills as he does pull and get excited about seeing new things but he is so eager to please and people focused that continual training will be a breeze. To our knowledge, he is crate trained and potty trained but may need a reminder about where the appropriate potty places are once in a home. We are willing to test Titus Landon with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Story
*Fostered in Portland, OR, and ready for meet-and-greets!*  🌟 Meet Chako! 🌟 Chako is a lab/chi mix puppy. He is laid-back, cuddly, sweet, and expected to be a medium-sized adult. He sports a sleek jet-black coat with a striking white chest and soulful brown eyes. Although initially shy, Chako quickly sheds his reservations, flourishing in social settings where he can soak up affection. His foster family frequently takes him on neighborhood outings—from bustling food trucks to pet stores—where he's always the star, greeting everyone joyfully and showcasing his ease on a leash. Chako isn't just a social butterfly; he's a quick learner, too! Already mastering the essentials of potty and crate training, he settles quietly for the night in his crate and responds eagerly to commands like sit, stay, and come. His love for food makes training a breeze, promising more advanced lessons will be just as smooth. His serene nature makes him a friend to many; he's calm around other dogs, cats, and even the local peacock flock, though he can't help but chase squirrels in his backyard. Whether you're lounging on the couch or playing fetch, Chako's adaptable energy fits right in. He's proven great with strangers, including little ones, eagerly seeking all the pets he can get. As he blossoms into adulthood, Chako will benefit from ongoing socialization and training, ensuring he grows into the well-rounded companion he's meant to be. If you're looking for a sweet-natured, cuddly friend who can join you on every adventure, Chako is your perfect match. Ready to make a lifetime of memories with a devoted and loving pup? Chako is waiting to start his forever life with you! This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program, prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue just celebrated our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 11,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes.
