Story
Meet Mazzy! Hey everybody, my name is Mazzy, and I'm the most special gal! I'm a young adult now, and I've found myself looking for my forever home. You might notice that I have a lot of extra skin, and that makes me extra beautiful! It also might add a pound or two to my 47-pound frame because pictures make me look a little lighter than I actually am. Let me tell you, that extra skin can tear a little bit easier than a normal dog's skin because I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, but it doesn't affect my joints one bit, so I don’t have to take any meds for it. I just need to make sure I don't play too rough with my fur friends, that's all! I get along well with other dogs of all sizes, but the calmer, the better, so they don't jump on me or scratch me. I do really well with all the humans I've met, but men are more scary to me, so they just need to be patient with me and show me they're safe. I do fabulously with children of all ages, and really enjoy being around them! I'm a bit timid, but I will also alert you to any strange noises I hear or of new people coming into the home, so I might not do super great with living in an apartment building where there might be a lot of extra noise. I go potty outside, and I really enjoy going on walks, and I do quite well, though why do some of those trucks need to be so big and loud? I'm not sure how well I would do with kitties since I think it's fun to chase squirrels and bunnies in the yard! Foster mom says I would really benefit from some training as I'm still a young lady, and I'm so, so smart! I've never really been taught some of the basic things in life, so having someone to take the time to show me how to be a proper lady would be so great for me! I'm really good at taking a toy and keeping myself occupied! I promise to make you laugh with my silly antics and zoomies I get. Now I'm ready for my ride or die bestie to go hiking by day and snuggling by night with! I sure how you see how perfect I am! *Mazzy is being fostered in Edgerton, WI. Story
Meet Marilyn! My name is Marilyn and I am a sweet, mellow 60-lb senior lab mix that loves attention and affection! I’m happy to be as close to my people as possible and am happiest curled up next to them on the couch. I am currently living with multiple large dogs and am cat friendly and while I don’t currently live with children, it’s believed I would be family friendly due to my gentle demeanor. Yep, that means I can live with kiddos too! I have great house manners and potty outside. I roam freely in my foster home, but also enjoy relaxing in my crate. I’m happy to join you on a walk or for a car ride, I’m just happy when we are together! While I am in good health, my back legs do shake often. Have no fear, I’m neither scared nor in pain. I was underweight when I was rescued but have gained some pounds and am now working on maintaining a healthy size. While I am dog friendly, I would suggest a slow introduction so I can really feel a new pup out. I am low energy and appreciate another pup who is my same speed/energy level. I’m so excited about finding a family that makes me feel safe and loved. If you are ready for cuddles and affection from a calm, gentle pup then look no further than me! *Marilyn is being fostered in Menomonee Falls, WI. Terracotta is a sweet gal but can be quite shy. Terracotta would benefit from another dog in the home to help build her confidence. Terracotta has kept her kennel clean but hasn't made her way to a foster or forever home, so her housetrained skills are unknown. Terracotta did meet some cats and ignored them, but they weren't running away! Please ask to meet me today. Story
Hi! I'm Finley and I'm probably the sweetest dog you will ever meet! All I want is love and attention from my humans. I would say that I'm a low-to-medium energy dog; very gentle personality. I'm always near my foster family, either following them in the house or yard, or laying by their feet as they work, eat or watch TV. I would be a loving companion! I eat well and have been doing my business outside, only one accident in the house so far. I sleep through the night in my crate. I walk well on a leash, and I get along well with the other two dogs in my foster home. I may look very large in my photos, but most of that is fluff; I weigh about 60 pounds and am probably close to full grown since I'm almost a year old. Might I be the perfect addition to your family? Ask to meet me today!Adoption fee: $475 All cats/kittens have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations.
