Est. DOB: 04/05/2018 Current Weight: 26lbs Adoption fee: $495 (Adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate current vaccines, microchip, and preventative flea treatment.) Zip is a lovable Lhasa Apso mix who is ready to find a new family to call his own. This sweet boy has spent his entire life with one owner, but sadly, due to his owners health, he now finds himself looking for a new home. Zip is friendly with people and is a gentle, affectionate boy who loves attention. Since he has never lived with children, cats, or other dogs, he will need slow, patient introductions to help him feel comfortable and confident around new furry or human family members. Zip does have dry eye and will need ongoing care to keep his eyes comfortable and healthy. But dont let that stop you from getting to know this wonderful little guy—he has so much love to give! Zip is looking for a loving family who will give him the time, patience, and affection he needs as he adjusts to this new chapter in his life. In return, hell give you plenty of love and companionship. While we do our best to assess each dogs habits and behaviors, we cannot guarantee that any dog is fully potty trained or will not have accidents after adoption. Changes in environment, routine, stress levels, and transition into a new home can all impact a dogs house-training habits. Patience, consistency, and continued training may be needed as the dog adjusts to their new home. Breed descriptions are provided as a general estimate based on the dog's size, shape, and appearance. These descriptions are not definitive and should be considered a "guestimate." Since we cannot always know the exact breed mix of our rescue animals, the information provided is simply an educated guess. Story
Berry is a little dog with a big personality! Berry is playful, spunky, and adores going for walks, playing with toys, and being around his people. Berry can be selective about new friends, so he's looking for experienced adopters who can help continue working on his manners with positive reinforcement and patience. Berry is looking for an adult only home with no other pets, and he is not a fit for an apartment or condo. If you're ready to open up your heart and home to this pup, reach out to us to learn more about him! *Berry has a slightly longer adoption process than our other dogs. If you're interested in learning more about him, you can email adoption@homewardpet.org. *

Story
This special little guy is RYAN. He is a 1 year old, 12 pound Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu mix who is simply a loyal lover. He is looking for someone to return his love. RYAN gets along with other dogs. I do not have cats so I am not sure how he would do in a cat home. RYAN was found in a very rural area with GROVER, a 1 year old male Chihuahua. They are best buds but they do not need to be adopted together. It would be nice but not necessary. He is not a barker and does not have an aggressive bone in his body. He was a hot mess of long matted hair when found but he was a true trouper while being groomed. He allowed the groomer to handle him and make him look gorgeous and feel better. If you are interested in adopting RYAN, please submit an application on the website below. Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Sayde! Sayde is a very sweet, happy, and playful girl who's ready to find a family of her own! She spent several weeks running the streets before she was finally brought to safety. Despite efforts to find her owners, no one ever came forward, so now she's looking forward to a fresh start. Sayde has a fun-loving personality and isn't shy about showing her excitement—expect a few happy barks and jumps when she sees you! She gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine friend to play with. She does have a rough-and-tumble play style and may occasionally try to show she's the boss, so slow introductions and canine companions who appreciate an active playmate would be ideal. We're not completely sure if she's potty trained yet, but with consistency and patience, she should settle into a routine. Sayde does seem to have some resource aggression, which will need continued correction and training on. Due to this, older/considerate kids only.  Because of her breed, Sayde will also need regular grooming to keep her coat looking and feeling its best.  Sayde is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and protected with ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. Her adoption fee is $400. She is currently located in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and locations along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. We are unable to transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.
