Courtesy Post: Meet Snow — A Happy, Energetic 4-Year-Old Maltipoo Looking for a Loving Home Please note: Snow is not at the shelter. He is staying with his current owner in Sacramento, CA, and all meet-and-greets will be coordinated directly with the owner. Contact Information If you’re interested in Snow or have questions, please contact his owner directly: Owner: Christine Phone: (916) 410-3514 Email: ce_ce4@aol.com About Snow Breed: Maltipoo Age: 4 years Color: White Gender: Male (not neutered) Vaccines: Not current Location: Sacramento, CA Lived with: No children, cats, or dogs Reason for Rehoming: Housing Snow has been with his owner since he was 8 weeks old and has grown into a joyful, energetic little dog. He is being rehomed due to housing challenges and is looking for a family who can give him stability, love, and plenty of playtime. &#226&#156&#168 Personality & Behavior Very energetic and playful Gets excited with visitors — runs, barks, jumps, and tries to show toys for fetch Friendly and affectionate Barks when scared Potty trained Allows people to take food and toys Has never bitten anyone Snow has not been exposed to children, other dogs, or cats, so slow introductions or a quieter household may be best for him. Ideal Home Snow is happiest indoors with his family and is not used to long periods outdoors or dog parks. He would thrive with a patient, loving adopter who can help him adjust to new experiences and provide daily playtime to match his lively energy. Because he hasn’t been around kids or other animals, an adult-only home or a calm household may be the most comfortable fit. Veterinary Notes Snow has not been seen by a veterinarian and is not current on vaccines. His future family should be prepared to schedule a vet visit, vaccinations, and discuss neutering. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. Story
Meet Dany – the Sweet, Loyal Little Companion Looking for Her Forever Home! (This dog is not at the shelter. She is being rehomed by her current owner.) Dany is a 7-year-old female Maltipoo with a soft, curly coat of black fur with white spots and an affectionate, sensitive nature. She has been loved and well-cared for her entire life, and her family is heartbroken to rehome her. Due to a recent move and preparing for a second child, they simply can’t give Dany the time and attention she deserves. Dany is a sweet and friendly girl, especially around children, and she has lived successfully with other dogs. She warms up well to visitors after initially barking to announce new people—she just needs a moment to get comfortable. She is:SpayedUp to date on vaccinesPotty trainedCrate trainedHealthy and vet-cared for Dany does have some typical small-dog behaviors, including resource guarding high-value treats, food, or toys. She has never bitten, but she may growl or show her teeth if approached when she has something special. With proper management and respect for her boundaries, she does very well. In her new home, Dany would thrive with someone who understands her cues, provides structure, and gives her the love and attention she’s used to. She’s a loyal little dog who bonds deeply with her people. If you’re looking for an affectionate companion who enjoys being part of the family, Dany might be the perfect match. Story
Kenji is a happy, playful little guy with all the best traits of a Maltese mix. He’s friendly, social, and absolutely adores people—whether you’re meeting him for the first time or he’s curling up beside you after playtime. True to his Maltese roots, Kenji is affectionate, gentle, and eager to be close to his humans. He loves attention, thrives on companionship, and will happily follow you from room to room just to be near you. He’s also playful and fun, enjoying games, short walks, and romping around with his dog friends. Kenji gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would do great as a companion pup or as an only dog soaking up all the love. He has that classic Maltese charm: bright-eyed, people-oriented, and always ready to make you smile. If you’re looking for a loving, cheerful, and loyal little companion, Kenji might just be your perfect match. 🐾💕

Story
Bunny is a darling Maltese who has truly been through it, but you’d never know it from her gentle spirit and sweet disposition. This little angel came to us with an old leg injury that had healed incorrectly and made walking painful. After her amputation, Bunny has been so much happier — she moves with ease and confidence now, proving once again that tripods thrive! Bunny is also missing one eye, but trust us… none of this slows her down one bit. She gets around beautifully, enjoys soft naps in cozy beds, and loves nothing more than being close to her person. She’s quiet, affectionate, and an absolutely delightful companion. If you’re looking for a loving little shadow to bring warmth and sweetness into your home, Bunny is your girl. 🫶 Apply to meet her and let this brave, beautiful Maltese melt your heart.

Story
Tiana is one of fourteen dogs rescued from a hoarding situation in California’s Central Valley. When she arrived, she was severely matted and had clearly gone far too long without proper care. Despite this, Tiana’s spirit is soft, sweet, and deeply people-oriented. She is timid and quiet, but incredibly observant. When her foster set up a soft bed for her, Tiana climbed right in as if she knew it was meant just for her, choosing her crate as a safe and comforting space. She responds beautifully to calm verbal cues, offers sweet eye contact even when unsure, and has shown no fear-based aggression—no growling, snapping, or teeth. Tiana handled her first bath with remarkable tolerance, appears comfortable with men, and is cat-friendly—curious but respectful, choosing to retreat rather than react. The outside world is still new and overwhelming for her, but she’s beginning to walk well on leash and is especially charming in the mornings, when her playful, “ham” side shines through. While she’s still learning her potty routine, she has had no indoor accidents, suggesting she has good instincts and just needs patience and consistency. 💫 Tiana will thrive in a calm, patient home—one that understands that trust builds slowly and quietly. She doesn’t need much: a gentle environment, steady guidance, and someone willing to move at her pace. If you believe the softest souls are often the most special—and that watching a dog learn safety and love for the first time is a privilege—Tiana may be your girl. 💕
