Story
She LOVES to go on walks and doesn’t seem to tire out (we’ve been walking 2-3 miles a day). She is super chill and loving with my daughter (age 17) and me but  barks and growlls at all men.  Sleeps all night in a crate. Likes to snuggle on the bed in the pillows.  Eats well - eats just about anything we give her including hard kibble. She is a yipper when she gets excited (when she sees her leash, when she spots a rabbit, and when men are near her).  She is fine with my dogs but has snipped at them a few times if they try to take her spot on the bed Rosie needs a home that is female only that will allow her time to decompression and become the little princess she is <3  Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.  ##2431415##

Story
Hello, I purchased Milo when he was just 8 weeks old. He is currently 11 years old. I would have loved to keep him through his senior years but unfortunately now with a small child, a full-time job and house needs, it’s impossible to make sure I’m giving him enough attention. He’s a sweet boy who loves cuddles and naps. He’s house trained and very friendly with children as well. Im just looking for a home that will give him the much deserved attention he needs in his last years.

Story
Meet Ginny – a delicate little girl with a quiet heart and a lot of love to give.Ginny is a 4-year-old Maltese who weighs just 7 pounds. This petite beauty is very shy and still learning to feel safe in a world that’s all new to her. While she may be timid and hesitant to approach at first, there’s a soft sweetness in Ginny that begins to shine through once she feels secure.Because of her shyness, Ginny can be a bit hard to catch when she’s nervous, so she’ll need a calm, patient home where she can settle in slowly and build trust at her own pace. A secure environment, a predictable routine, and gentle handling will go a long way in helping her feel more confident.Despite her reservations, Ginny has a gentle spirit and truly wants to feel safe and connected. With time, consistency, and a loving touch, she has the potential to become a devoted companion to someone who understands the quiet beauty of earning a shy dog’s trust. If you’re looking to make a difference in a little dog’s life and offer her the patience she needs to come out of her shell, Ginny is waiting to take that journey with you.********Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!

HIGHLIGHT:- May require another confident dog in the home to help her feel secureMeet Betty – a tiny, tender-hearted girl looking for a quiet place to feel safe and loved.Betty is a 5-year-old Maltese who weighs just 6 pounds, but her story is one of quiet strength and gentle resilience. This little girl is very timid and currently working through deep fears rooted in her past. She’s still learning that people can be kind and the world can be safe—but what she needs most is time, patience, and a loving home where she can begin to trust at her own pace.Because Betty is so fearful, she may benefit greatly from having another confident dog in the home to serve as a calming presence and gentle role model. She finds comfort in the company of other dogs, and watching them navigate the world helps her feel a little more brave each day.Betty is not ready to be the life of the party—but with a calm, understanding environment and a family that truly sees her for who she is, she has the potential to blossom in quiet, beautiful ways. She will need a home committed to her emotional healing and willing to move slowly, giving her space while letting her know she’s safe.If your heart is open to helping a truly shy soul find peace and confidence, Betty could be the one you’ve been waiting for.*****Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet.
