With a playful spirit, she adores her toys and loves to engage in spirited playtime, though she can be a little protective over her favorites. She thrives in a home with older children who can match her energy and enthusiasm. Story
Four-year-old Queenie rules her foster mom’s heart with sweetness and grace. The curly-coated 10-pound cutie loves snuggling and cuddling with her, resting her head on her, hiding under the covers and then dancing daintily about. Easygoing with a touch of independence, she also enjoys curling up on her foster mom’s lap or sitting contentedly by her chair on the floor. Occasionally playing with small toys and chewing bones, she especially enjoys going for long walks, expressing her joy at being out and about by the happy bounce in her step! She calmly ignores the other dogs they pass, and although she’s gentle with youngsters, older children are more Queenie’s “cup of tea.” Motivated by food and love, eager to please and to learn, she currently knows “come” and “no,” and is diligently at work on both her crate and house-training. Now all this petite queen of hearts needs is a loving home, preferably with other playful pups, and patient adopters to complete her training, including her commands, and keep that happy bounce in her step fur-ever.   Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. Story
Coco's Profile Breed: Poodle/Maltese mix Age: 2 years old Gender: Female Spayed/Neutered: Yes Microchipped: Yes Vaccinations: Up-to-date Physical Characteristics Coco is a small mixed-breed dog. As a Poodle/Maltese mix, she likely has a curly, hypoallergenic coat. She has been well-groomed, indicating she likely requires regular grooming. Personality and Behavior Coco is described as very playful and loves attention from her person. She gets along well with other dogs, and has been living with another dog named Howie, with whom she seems to have a close bond. Based on the information provided, Coco would do best in a home with another dog companion, as she seems to thrive in the company of other canines. Background Coco was found living outdoors on a property, likely as a stray or abandoned dog. The pair of pups were given to the renter of the property, they were not allowed in the house from the renter's German Shepherd The fact that she was found with another dog, Howie, suggests they may have been a bonded pair living together outdoors. Recommendations Coco would do best in a home that can provide her with regular exercise, mental stimulation, and the companionship of another dog. Her mixed-breed background and friendly, playful personality indicate she would make a wonderful family pet for the right household. It's recommended to continue Coco's regular veterinary care, including continued vaccinations and heartworm prevention. Grooming will also be an important part of her care, given her likely curly, hypoallergenic coat.  When she arrived at the rescue she was very matted and had stickers and dreads all over.  She was patient while an attempt was made to get her shaved. Overall, Coco seems to be a delightful, affectionate dog who would thrive in a loving home that can meet her needs for exercise, socialization, and companionship. Her adoption would be a great opportunity for the right individual or family. Please fill out an application for Coco at www.fureverdogdenver.com.  If you have any questions, please call or text Debbie at (720) 588-6809. ##2195344##

Story
Holly is a very sweet 9 year old girl who does not need anything than sunlight to lay in. She sleeps in a kennel at night. She is always up for activity but more than happy to lay around the house all day. She does not play much anymore so would be best with people who like to cuddle more than play. We need to rehome her because she has not handled the transition of adding a baby to the house well. She has been very stressed and scared since he came home 6 months ago and it is not getting any better. The good news is, she is been back to her old self while at my moms house. She is such a good girl and will make the right family very happy for many more years. We want to find the right place for this super sweet girl. **Holly is pending adoption
