Story
Cricket is a loving, sweet dog with a sometimes playful personality. She is 12 years old and has been having health issues. She has allergies that are best handled with quarterly allergy injections. She has a fungul infection that has been hard to get rid of even with bathing her in proper shampoos. She requires a good amount of attention. She is house trained but will have occasional accidents if left alone too long without going outside. We adopted her when more of our kids are at home. Our last two boys are busy in high school and we work. We have limited time to give to her and in addition she does require more attention due to some health issues. We do not have the time to properly care for her. It’s very hard to put her up for adoption but I know it is best. Will keep her as long as I need to until she can find a proper home.

Story
Thelma is about 8 or 9 years old. We found here and another dog we named Louise running lose and adopted them right away. Thelma just needs a person to stay home and let her sit by your side. Thelma and Louise were found running together and over the last several years have been side by side. They may be better together then apart. The need to rehome this two is for their safety. We have an older dog that just recently has started to attack them. Not sure way. Thelma and Louise are best buddies.

HIGHLIGHT: - Requires a secure yard and another confident dog already established in the home. Meet Belinda - quiet, observant and learning to trust. Belinda is a 16-pound, 4-year-old Maltipoo mix who is still very early in her journey towards feeling safe in a human world. She's a very timid little girl who prefers to keep her distance, quietly observing everything from her safe space (the couch or her playpen area). Though she's not ready to approach people just yet, she watches closely - and those watchful eyes are full of curiosity. Once she overcomes her shyness you will start to see little bits of her silly personality. She is very soft and does not shed. At this stage, Belinda is learning that people bring good things, like cuddly spaces, boiled chicken treats and predictable routines. She's also been making progress with gentle handling, although she remains very cautious, there's great potential for continued progress in the right environment. To help her continue to thrive, Belinda's new home must have at least one established dog that she can trust and take cues from. (Let’s be honest, she wouldn’t mind a house with more dogs than humans.) Belinda will do best in a calm, experienced household where she can take her time and be allowed to observe first, then settle in at her own pace. While she's not ready for a lot of physical affection yet, she is ready for a family who understands that trust takes time and who will be there patiently, quietly cheering her on with every small step forward. She's shown great progress in just a couple of weeks with her foster, and we're confident the right family is out there for sweet Belinda. My daughter is allergic to my dogs. We have tried a lot but with her crawling at 9 months it is getting worse. Bandit is leash trained. He is mostly potty trained. He occasionally will mark but if have access to a yard it shouldnt be a problem. He is great with kids
