Story
Hi everyone! My name is Kamryn! I'm an 8-year-old, little lady, weighing just under 9 pounds. No one knows exactly what breed I am, but everyone agrees there's probably some Maltese in the mix, along with a few other adorable fluffy white pups! I'm a sweet, gentle girl with a heart full of love and a heart that's just a little extra special. I have a heart murmur caused by changes to a couple of my heart valves, but don't let that worry you too much cause I feel great! I take my tasty medication twice a day (I think it's more of a treat than medicine!) and eat a special diet that helps keep me feeling my best. Right now I have no activity restrictions, I enjoy exploring the yard, walking around the house, and tackling the stairs without any trouble. Because of my heart condition, I'll need lifelong medication, routine veterinary checkups, and may require more veterinary care than the average dog, but I'm currently happy, comfortable, and enjoying life. My favorite thing in the whole world? People! I absolutely love meeting new friends and am happiest when I'm close to my humans. Foster Mom calls me a "Velcro dog" because I like to keep an eye on her wherever she goes. Someone has to supervise, after all! I'm currently living with three other small dogs and do just fine with them. We peacefully coexist, although I mostly do my own thing. I'm also a proper little lady! I'm potty trained, sleep well in my crate at night, and while I may voice a small protest when I'm crated while everyone leaves the house, I settle down quickly. I'm looking for a forever family who will love me just as much as I'll love them. If you're searching for a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, I just might be your perfect match. I can't wait to meet you!  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          July 9, 2026, 1:29 am

Story
Bernadette Peters is a 5-year-old, 9 lb Maltese mix with a gentle soul who is slowly learning to feel safe and loved. She can be shy at first and is still coming out of her shell, but with patience and kindness, her sweet personality truly begins to shine. Bernadette absolutely loves the company of other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident canine companion to help her feel secure. She enjoys running around the yard, exploring, and playing with her dog friends. While she’s still unsure about toys, she does love her food and gets excited when her people are home. She also enjoys gentle affection, happily soaking up pets and giving sweet kisses in return. Because she previously lived outdoors, Bernadette is still learning house manners and will need a patient adopter committed to continuing her training. She is crate trained and will go into her crate for mealtime. She is also working on leash skills, but at this time she is not comfortable walking on a leash, so a securely fenced yard is REQUIRED. Bernadette does best in a calm, quiet environment. An adult-only home or one with older, gentle individuals would be ideal, as young children may be overwhelming for her. She is good with dogs of all sizes and also does well with cats. With time, love, and understanding, Bernadette will blossom into a devoted and affectionate companion. She’s ready to find a patient home where she can continue building confidence and finally feel safe forever. To adopt her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org Her adoption fee is $450, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, heartworm testing, and dental cleaning.

Story
✨KIKI✨ Kiki is an adorable 8-pound Maltese mix estimated to be around 4–5 years old. She came to us from a local animal shelter. Kiki is the perfect combination of playful and cuddly. She is happy to zoom around the backyard, or play with her toys one minute, then curl up in your lap for snuggles the next. This sweet girl loves attention, gives the best little kisses, and has a funny, lovable personality that keeps her foster mom smiling. Kiki enjoys car rides and loves to look out the window watching the world go by. She has great energy without being overwhelming and would fit well with someone looking for a companion who can keep up with playtime but also happily settle in for a relaxing evening at home. If you’re looking for a loving little sidekick with a great personality, and endless affection, Kiki may just be your perfect match. 🐾

Story
My previous owner must have fed me all the time so I ate all the time and now I need to get my svelte figure back with your help. I enjoy walking around at rescue, so I’m not a couch potato. I was in awful condition when I was rescued. My ears had handful of fur in them and I was pretty matted all over. I get along with everyone at rescue. I stay clear of the rowdy ones, but if they want to sit with me I’m good with that. I’m a good girl. I want a family that will keep me safe and I’ll reward you with lots and lots of love.
