I am in a foster home learning all sorts of stuff like crate training and leash skills. I an also in a foster home with a kid, a cat and other dogs. I will need a home with at least one confident/balanced dog pal. I am around 2 years old and weigh 85 lbs. Can't wait to meet you! *please note All of our dogs are in private foster homes. Baron will be your new best friend. He is a giant snuggle puppy who loves to be where his people are. Baron will cuddle up with his human, sometimes with his entire body on top of them, but always at least his head and a paw. He is friendly and playful with other dogs. Baron is a gentle and sensitive soul, who is very receptive to training. He is great with all humans and greets strangers by sitting on their feet and leaning his whole body on them. Baron is amazing at playing by himself with a bone or a stuffed animal, and doesn’t rip up this stuffed animal friends, instead giving them gentle nibbles. He sleeps the whole night in his crate and doesn’t jump when you let him out. This sweet lady was brought into the South LA shelter on 7/11/23 and spent each day huddled in the back of her kennel run shaking and well....just miserable. And then one volunteer decided not to give up on her....and she coaxed Uki out of her corner and into the play yard. And it was the day our founder happened to be watching the dogs in the yard and she just knew Uki had to come into the Squad. Uki has come out of her shell and is just a kind, sweet, smart dog. She walks nicely on leash and is quick to learn commands. She loves people and snuggles up quickly - so yea, she's a little needy but it's super endearing. Uki obviously has had a few litters poor thing. But never again! If you are looking for a low key, loving dog....look no further.
