Hi all! I’m Brody! I’m 4 years old and have been told I’m a total meat head who isn’t always aware just how big he is. I hear everyone calling me a handsome beefcake, which I can only imagine is a good thing. ☺️So far, everyone thinks I’m a mastiff/pit bull mix, hence the beefcake comments, but we’re not 100% sure as we haven’t done a DNA test. Regardless of my breed, I know I’m 100% handsome, because my foster mama tells me every day! 😍 I’ve got a big ole head, and a giant heart to match. 🫶 Not only am I easy on the eyes, but I’m also fully trained! I’ve got my basic obedience down, walk great on a leash and am crate trained. I love ALL dogs, even the littles, and my motto is #BALLISLIFE! I could play ball EVERY DAY and would love a home with a family who will play with me! But not to worry! I’m also perfectly content with some R&R at home and can be a lazy potato. My ideal home would be with a family who is patient and kind. I’ve had a lot happen to me in my 4 years on this earth, so I can be nervous meeting new people. However, I can also warm up really fast, and once you’re in, you’re in forever and we’ll be the bestest friends forever! 👯🤗 I’d also do best in a home with strong leaders, because let’s face it… I don’t like having to make choices. I mean, can ya blame me? Making decisions is a tiring thing, and why spend time doing that when I could be having fun! I’m fully vetted, neutered, current on all vaccines, microchipped and looking for my forever family.

Buddy was a stray with a broken leg and malnourished. We took him in and took him to the vet to take care of his broken leg. He's very friendly with people, but is very defensive around other pets. He's very sweet and gentle with people.

The Coast Guard found me at the park, I'd say it was a daring rescue at sea but in actuality I was just lounging on the grass. I'm Edam, a 5-year old boy who's seemingly had a rough past. See I was found with a serious leg injury, a collar so tight I have indents in my neck and my jaw is a little crooked but despite all this I'm happy-go-lucky, very loving, optimistic and thrilled to be here. The shelter is like the Four Seasons compared to where I've been! I enjoy going on walks, chewing on bones, playing in the yard, munching on snacks and getting attention from my humans. I was named Edam because it's a popular cheese that everyone likes, just like me! Ok, I'm ready to close the book on the first chapter of my life and start a new one - will you please be in my story? MY FOSTER HOME SAYS THIS ABOUT ME: Edam is a good boy who just want to be loved, he's very affectionate, eager to please and loves to give sweet kisses. His favorite things are stuffed Kongs, cuddling on the bed, eating cheese and hot dogs, and jumping in anyone's open truck tailgate! He is housebroken, he gets along with our dog, he knows sit, crate and wait and he's a mellow guy. To get pets he likes to sit in the back seat of the car with his front paws on the ground and his big head on the center console.
