Nevertheless, only one applicant will be invited to meet a dog at a mutually agreeable appointment day, time & place. Usually Petsmart Yorba Linda or our Santa Ana location near South Coast Plaza. All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, full sets of core vaccinations (rabies and 1 set of distemper/parvo for adults, 4 for puppies) and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc.

Hello everyone! I’m Brody! I’m 2 years old and have been told I’m a total meat head. I also don’t fully understand how big I am, but I’m learning. Everyone thinks I’m a mastiff/pit bull mix because I’m such a beefcake, but we haven’t done the DNA yet. I’ve got a big ole head with a giant heart to match. I like to go on walks and play in the water, but I’m also happy to enjoy a lazy afternoon. I currently am looking for a foster or a forever home. Previously I was in a foster home with 2 foster canine siblings. I am in boarding with my trainer and meet new dogs regularly, I also go on daily pack walks. I absolutely love dogs! I share toys with other dogs and have so much fun together. My favorite toy in the whole wide world is the Jolly Ball and I love to play chase and catch! There was a feline friend in my previous foster home, but he lived separately through gates and I was very respectful of him and the gates. Earlier this year I suffered a freak impalement accident, I am told I died and my amazing vets brought me back to life. I am all healed up now, however I was stuck at home for months isolated while I recovered from my injuries. As a result I can be unsure when meeting some new people, but we are working on building my confidence with some awesome trainers. I warm up very quickly though and am very loyal and loving. I’d love a home that is patient, confident and experienced. I need someone who is willing to work with me to help build my confidence and work on my socialization skills. I’m crate trained, know all of my basic obedience commands, walk nicely on a leash, am house trained and would love a mentor dog in my new home that can show me the ropes and will cuddle with me. I’m fully vetted, neutered, current on all vaccines, microchipped and looking for my forever family. The rescue met the dog yesterday - 7-22-24 -- he absolutely a gem He is very treat motivated as the owners were mentioning, he does know his commands such as sit , he does know how shake on both paws-- The rescue person who evaluated him was able touch his face without any issues at all. He very sweet boy who needs a forever home once in for all. He is a Mastiff mix breed Mikah is dog and cat friendly. He is great with kids. He does very well on the leash however, if there was bunnies or birds whole another story he would pull but with minor training he would be absolutely fine dog. If he saw another dog walking around -- wouldn't phase him at all from owner was mentioning. May even try to chase a squirrel. Is potty/crate/house trained. I’ve yet to get him weighed, I would say 98lbs. When we were feeding him TOTW he was 110? We believe he is 3 years old. The shelter he came from tried to tell us he was four when he may have only been two years old. He is neutered. Working on getting his updated rabies shot. Currently located in Tustin. We have had him a year, we got him from the local shelter in Cleveland. We are deciding to rehome him because we had to move to California and downsize. He’s a big boy, that needs space. He’s stuck in our bedroom all day and deserves a better home situation. He’s never bitten anyone that we know of, the shelter never mentioned anything either. He is never alone and we don’t believe he has separation anxiety.
