Meet Sabrina, a gentle 6-year-old Mastiff mix who’s in need of a special forever home. Sabrina is living with mast cell tumors (MCT) due to cancer and is currently on medication to keep her as comfortable as possible. She requires a loving home that is prepared to offer her hospice care and a peaceful environment. Sabrina can be shy with new people and may give a warning growl or snap if approached when she’s not ready. However, once she builds trust, she becomes deeply affectionate and very attached to her people. She gets along well with mellow dogs and will thrive in a calm household where she can feel safe and loved. If you have a compassionate heart and are ready to provide a supportive and caring home for a special dog like Sabrina, you’ll find a loyal and loving companion in her.

Meet Leigha Leigha is a sweet, resilient girl who has already come such a long way. Despite the difficult circumstances she came from, she continues to show us what a loving and gentle dog she is. One of Leigha’s most wonderful qualities is her calm and neutral temperament around other dogs. She has been so easygoing and appropriate in her interactions that she has even been used to help with dog temperament testing. She has been good with dogs of all sizes and has shown an ability to calmly meet and coexist with dogs with different personalities and energy levels. Her relaxed approach to other dogs has made her a helpful dog when introducing and evaluating canine interactions. Leigha has also been good with cats during her time in rescue. As with any animal, individual introductions and interactions can vary, but what she has shown so far has been very encouraging. Her easygoing personality may make her a good fit for a variety of homes, including homes with other dogs. She has shown that she can take new situations in stride and settle into different environments. Leigha is steadily gaining weight and making great progress. She loves affection and has a sweet, appreciative personality. After everything she has experienced, it is incredibly rewarding to watch her discover what it feels like to be safe, cared for, and loved. Leigha is heartworm positive and is currently undergoing treatment. She will need to complete her treatment before she can be considered fully cleared, and her rescue team will provide the care, guidance, and follow-up she needs throughout the process. We are looking for an approved home that is comfortable giving Leigha the time and support she needs to finish this process. Temporary Foster Needed Leigha is currently looking for a temporary foster from September 23 through October 5 while her long-term foster is out of town. Her long-term foster will be able to welcome her back on October 5, making this a short-term opportunity to give Leigha a safe and loving place to stay while they are away. Leigha has been through so much, yet she continues to greet people and other animals with an incredibly sweet and easygoing attitude. We can’t wait to see her continue to gain strength, confidence, and weight as she begins this next chapter. ##2845607##

Story
Mylo is an amazing dog, super friendly and easy going. Somewhat lazy but loves to play fetch from time to time or roam a field. He’s old and hard of hearing but great with all people and pets. He’s a tad overly friendly but likes to snooze most of the day. He still has lots of life to live and has been pretty pampered most of his life ! He Loves being near the kids and action of the day. Since relocating to a state with more sun he’s found a love for sunbathing. His one true love is open space and snowballs when available. He’s been an amazing part of our family but our current dynamic is not what’s best for him or our family sadly.
