Meet Rafferty!
Rafferty is a sweet, laid-back puppy who truly enjoys being around his people. He has done wonderfully with everyone he’s met so far and is always happy to share a few loving kisses. While he’s still getting used to his crate, Rafferty’s favorite place to relax is definitely the couch—he’s a big fan of cozy cuddle time!
As a growing pup, Rafferty is still learning his manners. He may jump up occasionally, but he’s easily redirected and eager to learn. He’s just beginning to discover the joy of toys and treats and has quickly revealed that cheese is the way to his heart!
Rafferty has an upcoming veterinary appointment to get up to date on his vaccinations, as well as an exam for kennel cough and his dew claws, so he’s on his way to being his healthiest, happiest self.
Rafferty’s Ideal Home
Rafferty would do best with an adopter who understands large or giant breed puppies and is committed to helping him learn the basics like sit, stay, and polite greetings. While he’s easygoing by nature, consistent guidance and positive training will help him grow into a well-mannered adult.
He has shown no signs of protectiveness or guarding and did well with other dogs at the shelter, so he may be a good fit for a home with canine companions, though continued introductions and monitoring will be important. As he’s still young and learning, his ideal setup is still being discovered—but a patient, loving home ready for puppy training would be a wonderful match.
If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate pup with a calm demeanor and a love for people (and cheese!), Rafferty may just be the perfect addition to your family.

All approved applications are good for 12 months. All dogs adopted from Just Giants Rescue are up to date on vaccines (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Transportation from the foster home to the adopter is the responsibility of the adopter to coordinate. Just Giants does not adopt outside of the continental US.
