Hi, I’m Orville.  I am a senior boy looking to relax in a home for my golden years. I will need typical senior care special needs. Dog’s Name: Orville Location: St. Joseph, IL Date of Birth: 06/28/2017 Gender: Male Breed: Mastiff Mix Color: Brindle Dog's Weight: 118 Gets along with: Dogs?: All Dogs Cats?:  All Cats Kids?: Have not tested with kids Training: Leash trained: Walks loose on leash Crate/Kennel:  Goes into crate/kennel on command Potty trained: Indicates a need to potty and doesn’t have indoor accidents Car:  Rides Well in car Meet Orville Orville is the definition of laid-back love. This tall, gentle boy is happiest right by your side — truly your shadow in the very best way. Whether you're moving from room to room or enjoying a quiet afternoon, Orville will calmly stroll along beside you. He’s a pleasure on walks and just as easy in the yard, where he prefers to stay close rather than wander. Orville is wonderfully quiet and only speaks up when it’s time to head outside. His house manners are impeccable — he has his potty routine down perfectly and hasn’t had a single accident in foster care. He politely sits for his food bowl and treats, and at this stage in life, he’s more about companionship than chaos. While he may be a little slower these days, that just makes him an easy keeper and an incredibly devoted companion. Orville is quiet and well mannered, great on walks, fully house trained, does not require a fenced yard, will do well as an only dog or with a calm buddy, and an excellent choice for a first-time giant breed owner. Orville isn’t looking for adventure — he’s looking for connection. If you’re hoping for a steady, gentle presence who will faithfully follow you through life’s simple moments, Orville is ready to be your loyal best friend. Hi, I’m Hunter and I’m new to the rescue. I am currently decompressing and getting used to my foster family. Check back as my foster family learns more about me! Dog’s Name: Hunter Location: Chicago, IL Date of Birth: 04/01/2025 Gender: Male Breed: Mastiff Color: Brindle Dog's Weight: 86 Gets along with: Dogs?: All Dogs  Cats?: Unknown - he's scared of them right now.   Kids?: All kids Training: Crate/Kennel:  Goes into crate/kennel on command Car:  Rides Well in car Meet Hunter Hunter is a sweet, easygoing boy with a heart full of love for his people. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who simply enjoys being by your side, Hunter might just be your perfect match. This handsome guy absolutely adores humans and is happiest when he’s hanging out with you—whether that’s relaxing at home or enjoying some quiet time outside. He has a calm, laid-back personality and loves to just sit and “chill” with his favorite people Hunter does great in his crate and shows no signs of separation anxiety, making him an easy addition to many types of households. He’s currently learning potty training and making progress, so he’ll thrive with a consistent routine and a little patience as he continues to learn. Toys are still a bit of a mystery to Hunter, but he’s slowly figuring them out. For now, he’s perfectly content soaking up the fresh air and simply being near you. Hunter would be happy as an only dog or with a canine companion, and while a fenced yard would be a bonus, it’s not required. He’s best suited for someone who enjoys a relaxed, companion-style dog and is committed to continuing his potty training journey. Hunter’s biggest wish is simple: to be loved and to spend time with his humans. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal dog who will happily keep you company through life’s quiet moments, Hunter is your guy Ready to give Hunter the loving home he deserves? He’s ready to be your best friend Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, this dog is considered available for adoption. To apply to adopt from Just Giants Rescue fill out an online. Hi, I’m Stanley and I’m new to the rescue. I am currently decompressing and getting used to my foster family. Check back as my foster family learns more about me! Dog’s Name: Stanley Location: Waunakee, WI Date of Birth: 04/01/2025 Gender: Male Breed: Mastiff Color: Brindle Dog's Weight: 97 Gets along with: Dogs?: All Dogs  Cats?: Possibly - continuing with slow introduction to make a proper assessment Kids?: All kids Training: Crate/Kennel:  Goes into crate/kennel on command Car:  Rides Well in car Meet Stanley Stanley is a goofy, lovable guy who is settling into home life and showing just how fun and sweet he can be! He enjoys the simple pleasures—snoring away on the couch or playing a good game of fetch with his favorite Jolly Ball. Stanley does well in both the car and the crate, and he already knows basic commands like sit, shake, and down. While he’s likely potty trained, his foster is being proactive with regular potty breaks as he adjusts to a new routine, and he’s been doing great—no accidents in the crate and just one minor slip-up due to a change in schedule. Stanley has been introduced to cats and has done okay so far, though he can get a bit excited, so continued guidance and supervision will help him succeed. He would do best with an adopter who has previous dog experience and can provide the consistent leadership he needs to refresh his training and continue building good habits. With structure, patience, and love, Stanley is sure to grow into an incredible lifelong companion and a loyal best friend. Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, this dog is considered available for adoption. To apply to adopt from Just Giants Rescue fill out an online. Story
Hi, All Mac, here short for Mac truck lol. If you love big goofy dogs, I'm your guy. I am 100 lbs. of cuddle bug. I really don't think I am as big as they say I am because I would prefer to just be a couch Potatoe and lay next to my people and chew on a bone. I am a people kind of guy and love everyone I meet. I can probably live with another dog, but he would have to be calmer like me. but little dogs and very young children I would be afraid of because I am clumsy and wouldn't want to hurt them. I definitely don't think I could handle cats. But I know a lot of commands they say I am really smart and a fast learner. I am potty trained but do not like cages. I am strong on a leash so I would need a strong owner. Fill out an app here. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdsHBf5NUtvyBYpzWm6Z5Z0JosLBTsDC98oxPTfxtM9brrc7Q/viewform
