Story
Foster Home Name : Mundelein, ILDog's Name: WillyDate of Birth: 05/09/2024 (estimate)Gender: MaleBreed: Mastiff mix
Willy is the sweetest puppy who loves cuddles! At first he can be a bit timid but he will warm right up! He loves other dogs and wants to be part of the pack. He mimics his foster brothers and loves to be touching them when he relaxes. Willy is playful but can also be mellow and relax with you on the couch. Willy is not food aggressive and does not care if you take a toy or food from him. He really is the perfect dog to fit into any family, especially with another dog. He would be great for a first time giant owner.
Willy came to me on 10/8/2024 because his foster had to go out of town. He will melt your heart the second you meet him. He's great with the resident dog and follows him everywhere. When relaxing, he must be laying with and touching the resident dog. If he's not cuddling with another dog, he will cuddle with the humans in the house. If you're sitting, he's cuddling. He loves kisses and chewing on toys, but beware, he will chew on shoes and cords if they are within his reach. Willy can be timid if you raise your voice, even if it's not directed at him (my daughter and I were laughing and he got scared). Willy gets VERY excited to see his foster family, but jumps when he's excited. We're working on that. Willy hasn't had any potty accidents in the house or crate, but he's only been here one day so I just leave it at so far so good. Willy sometimes pulls when walking on a leash.
Willy is so sweet, soft, gentle, and cuddly. He will be a perfect fit for a first time giant owner. He loves to cuddle so his adopter must love to cuddle too. He's good with kids and other dogs so an established family with pets will benefit from his love. A fenced yard where he can run is a bonus too.
