Story
Meet Sir. This big, lovable guy came to us as a stray, so his past is a bit of a mystery, but from the moment he arrived, he’s been nothing but social, happy, and eager to connect. He can be a little unsure when faced with new things, but he bounces back quickly and adapts with ease. Due to Sir having some sensitivities with certain touch, we believe that he would do best in a home with children 13+ who can respect his boundaries. With some continued socialization and training, Sir is sure to grow into a confident, well-rounded companion. If you’re looking for a goofy, sweet, and resilient best friend, Sir might just be your guy. 3159 Susquehanna Trail N York PA 17406 Kennel #3537

Story
Sweet. Kind, and gentle Ella is an 8-year-old brindle Mastiff. Her soulful eyes will stare you down and capture your heart at the same time. She is a loveable gentle giant ready for her forever family. Ella is super friendly and everyone she meets is her friend. With proper introduction, Ella has done well with both female and male dogs. Smaller dogs and cats are unknown. She’s quiet but still has a lot of life left in her and loves to play! She loves to fetch the ball and tug of war with her toys, going for walks. She especially loves car rides and is a great Co Pilot! Her favorite place is being snuggled and close to her people. She would probably do best in a home with older children because she may knock down the little kiddos because she thinks she’s a small dog. She is fine when left alone but of course cannot wait till her family comes home and will greet you with lots of love. She is house trained, up to date on vaccines, spayed, heartworm negative, and just an all-around healthy girl. Ella’s foster Mom cannot emphasize how great she is and knows that she will make someone the perfect soulmate!

## Meet Jamaica 🐾 Jamaica is a 4-year-old, approximately 90-pound sweetheart who has the best mix of **mellow couch potato and playful companion**. ❤️ She is **house trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on leash**. She already knows “sit,” “shake,” and “lay,” and she’s a smart girl who is eager to please. Jamaica is: 🐶 Good with dogs — slow introductions are recommended 👧 Good with kids 🐱 Good with cats 🐔 Generally respectful of chickens, though she may show some interest 🏡 Protective of her home 🛋️ A low-key, mid-energy companion Just as her DNA suggests, Jamaica is a **very loyal and protective guardian**. Because of this, she needs an adopter who understands her breed and is comfortable managing a guardian-type dog. She will thrive with someone who appreciates her protective nature while giving her structure, confidence, and clear boundaries. If you're looking for a **big, loving guardian who would much rather spend her evenings relaxing beside you on the couch**, Jamaica may be your girl. 💕

Story
Meet Thalia! Thalia is a sweet, happy girl who always seems to have a wagging tail and is ready to soak up all the attention you have to give. Since settling into her foster home, she has begun to decompress and show more of her personality, gaining confidence and starting to explore the world around her. Thalia does well with calm dogs and prefers to walk in the back of the pack, taking everything in at her own pace. On walks, she has shown very little prey drive. She has encountered squirrels and even a fox without much interest beyond mild curiosity—after all, they seem like pretty strange-looking dogs to her! While Thalia has not yet been cat tested, her calm and curious reactions to wildlife suggest she may do well with cats. As with any new introduction, we would recommend a slow and proper transition. We're still getting to know this lovely girl and will share more about her personality as she continues to settle in and blossom. For now, we can tell you that Thalia is a joyful, affectionate companion who is ready to find a family of her own.

🎨 Meet Picasso — the happiest little work of art! 👅💙 Picasso is an energetic young boy with a heart of gold and a tongue that has a personality all its own! He came to us with a jaw deformity, which is why his tongue is always sticking out—and honestly, it just makes his adorable face that much more fun. 😍 This sweet boy has a wonderful, kind demeanor and is always ready to enjoy life. He’s still learning all the rules of being a good boy, but he’s eager to learn and doing a great job! 🐾 Picasso is already working on: • Walking nicely on leash • Sit • Come • Down • Learning “okay” as his release word for food • Crate trained Picasso is a mid-to-high-energy boy, so he’d love a family ready to keep him busy, give him plenty of playtime and continue helping him learn. In return, you’ll get a happy, affectionate, goofy boy who is sure to bring plenty of smiles into your life. His tongue may stick out, but so does his personality! 😜 🎨 Picasso is ready to create a masterpiece of a life with his forever family.

Currently fostered in: Brooklyn Park, MD 💙Meet Jackson!💙 If you're looking for the happiest dog in the world who never meets a stranger, Jackson may just be your perfect match! He is a giant love bug with just one simple wish: to finally find his furever family. This handsome guy is affectionate, goofy, and happiest when he's right by your side. Whether you're relaxing on the couch, running errands, or working on things around the house, Jackson just wants to be your loyal shadow. Affection is 100% Jackson's love language! He absolutely melts for attention and thrives on being close to his people. Adopters who have lots of time to spend with him are right up his alley as he is still learning it's okay to be alone. Jackson still has that classic playful puppy spirit and doesn't quite understand that he's a big boy now. He adores playing with other dogs, but his play style can be very rowdy and energetic, so he'll do best with dogs who appreciate his playful enthusiasm and also strive to wrestle and play tag to their heart's content. When he isn't wrestling, Jackson loves chew toys and bones, and can occupy himself with them for hours! Jackson is a very smart boy and a great listener with a fantastic recall. He is also very food motivated which means he is easy-to-train! Great manners in public come easily to Jackson and he does fantastic on car rides- making him perfect to take everywhere with you (and his foster mom really does take him everywhere!) You truly couldn't ask for a better partner in crime! If you're looking for a loyal, friendly, fun-loving companion who's sure to keep a smile on your face, Jackson is ready to meet you! Apply today! VETERINARY CARE Jackson is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and receiving heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives along with routine parasite treatments.
