While he’s feeling a bit shy and overwhelmed in the shelter environment, his true nature shines through as incredibly sweet, soft, and affectionate. He came to us as a stray, so we don't know much about his past, but we've loved getting to know him and watching his personality shine. When Meatball first arrived, he had a tail injury that required surgical repair, but he's healing well and showing more of his playful side every day. He may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once he decides you're a friend, you'll meet the total goofball hiding underneath that initial shyness. Meatball came in with another pup, so he may enjoy having a canine companion in his new home. As always, thoughtful management and proper introductions will be important to help set everyone up for success. No cats for him though!
