Since Charlie unfortunately was not ki cared for by his previous owners in the first year of his life. This has results in him being quite fearful of things like new places, people, and loud noises. With guidance from our trainer, Charlie's foster family has been working on desensitizing him to things that he finds scary in order to help him gain more confidence and learn that he is safe in the home.

Story
What a big, handsome boy! Sandals is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 69 pounds. Sandals is a friendly pup with an outgoing, connecting, and affectionate nature, who is looking for a furever home. He has more of a calm demeaner, loves giving kisses and even likes to try to sneak up in your lap, he really doesn’t seem to know his size! What a good boy he is at relinquishing his toys too and has a great recall. While Sandals is an incredibly sweet dog, he will need some basic obedience training as he can get a bit excited and jumpy sometimes. His adopter also needs to know how to establish themselves as a leader and understand the importance of this with a large breed dog. A home where any children are at least 13 years old is just what he needs. Sandals will make a great companion for someone looking for a playful, enthusiastic and adventurous friend! If you are interested in Sandals and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*

Story
Hi, I'm Lincoln! I'm a young pup full of energy and love. My days are filled with playtime, tail wags, and lots of exploring. I'm always on the move, sniffing out new adventures. I'm a friendly fellow, always ready to make new friends. I may be a bit of a handful at times, but I promise it's all in good fun. I'm learning how to behave and I'm eager to learn more. I'm a sweet boy, always ready to give puppy kisses and cuddle up for a nap. I'm looking for a family who's ready for the joy and work of raising a puppy. My future family should know I have a hear murmur, I am not on any medications at this time but it is unknown how this may change (if it even will) in the future. I promise to bring lots of love and laughter into your life. Will you be my forever home?

Story
Hello there! I'm Darcy, a sweet and curious little puppy. My days are filled with exploring, playing, and of course, lots of cuddling. I have a soft spot for my fellow canines and I really hope my forever home has a fur friend or two for me to play with! I'm a mellow girl, preferring a good nap over chaos any day. I'm a bit of a chatterbox with a lot to say, but don't worry, it's all in good fun! The great outdoors is my playground, where I love to run and sniff around. I have a cleft lip (requiring no medical intervention) and I think it adds to my charm and certainly doesn't slow me down. I'm learning lots everyday! So far, I'm starting to follow foster mom's instructions to "sit" and "come". My new family will need to continue working on my basic obedience, house-training, and crate training. I promise to fill your life with laughter, companionship, and endless tail wags. Adopt me, and let's embark on a beautiful journey together!located in Selwyn
