Story
We are carefully looking for a loving, stable home for Knox, our 5-year-old AKC-registered English Mastiff (approximately 150 lbs), located in Romulus, MI. I’ve had Knox since he was just 12 weeks old, and making this decision has been incredibly difficult. Due to my degenerative disc disease and multiple surgeries, I’m no longer able to physically care for him the way he deserves—particularly when it comes to walks and managing his allergy care. This decision comes purely from love and wanting what’s best for him. Knox deserves the very best, and my goal is to find him a home where he can continue to thrive. 🐾 About Knox • Male – intact / unaltered • AKC-registered English Mastiff • Fully house-trained • Great with children, cats, and other dogs • Calm and respectful around chickens • Gentle, affectionate, and loving • No aggression toward people (He can be mildly protective of his food around other animals, but has never shown food aggression toward children or adults.) ❤️

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Meet the magnificent Miss Hetti. She is a playful, energy abundant Mastiff, and likely, boxer mix. She loves tummy rubs, fetch, and Benebone chew toys. Hetti thrives on multiple walks per day however can over heat quickly in higher temps. She is very strong and still learning manners with passing animals so an experienced handler and dog owner is a must. She loves greeting people but due to her size and still puppy behaviors, a house with kids over 12 is preferred. For Hetti to live her best life she should be a solo canine with a large fenced yard and an active owner willing to give her the exercise and attention she needs.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. December 6, 2025, 5:05 pm

Story
He was left behind when his owners moved out. Very affectionate. He looks like a goofy, kind of floppy hound dog as he ambles around. He’s sweet and affectionate. Gets along with most dogs. He’s a little bossy with food especially with a timid dog. Feeding in a crate solves that. Loves his play time in the yard with two stout dogs. Great on a leash. The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. Tanner's adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $225. If transport is needed, his adoption fee is $525 (out of state, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions).Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to Your Browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN. Story
Meet Ace...he is a very large Mastiff/Pit mix in need of a new home. He is a well-mannered boy who may be house trained. He is a potty holder. He is very hard to walk on a leash. It takes 2 volunteers to walk him because sometimes he likes to play tug of war. He loves toys and will pull on them to play tug of war as well. He will growl (but it is not in a mean way). He would do best as an only pet with a fence/privacy fence. Ace is a super handsome fella who really needs a shot at a forever home.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Daisy She was born around December of 2024/ Mastiff Mix | Playful, Sweet, and Ready to Bloom Looking for a goofy, loving sidekick who’s equal parts cuddlebug and adventure buddy? Meet Daisy—a young Mastiff mix (maybe with a little Cane Corso and Southern hunting dog in her roots) who’s as fun as she is unique. Daisy came to us after her previous owner made the heartbreaking decision to surrender her in order to care for a family member battling stage 4 cancer. While she may have lost her first home, Daisy hasn’t lost her joy—this girl is all wagging tails, play bows, and puppy kisses. She’s a petite powerhouse for a Mastiff (shes still 80 pounds haha) mix, but don’t let her size fool you—Daisy is full of energy, love, and personality. She’s already shown how great she is with kids and had a blast playing with a large male dog. Her perfect match? A home with another playful pup or an active human who’s ready to run, romp, and laugh along with her. Still in her puppy phase, Daisy is eager to learn, bond, and bring light to the lucky family who gives her a forever home. Good with older kids - Just becasue of her size and playfulness  Dog-friendly (especially with playful, large companions!) Young, active, and tons of fun This sweet girl is ready to put down roots. Could you be the sunshine in Daisy’s next chapter?Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 29, 2025, 11:08 am

Story
💗 Meet Wilma — the sweetest girl you’ll ever know 💗 Wilma is a 3-year-old, 45-lb mastiff mix who survived life as a stray—hungry and forgotten—and is now finally learning what love feels like. Her favorite thing in the world? Being snuggled under blankets on the couch, especially if she can stretch herself right across her humans for maximum cuddle time 🥰 She adores people, loves treat-stuffed puzzle toys, and is still adorably figuring out what regular toys are all about. When she gets excited, her signature wiggle butt makes an appearance—and it’s the cutest thing ever. ✨ What you’ll love about Wilma: • Sweet, affectionate, and people-loving • Doing great with potty training • Walks nicely on leash • Polite and friendly with other dogs • Curious on walks • Quiet and gentle at home Wilma is still a little unsure about loud noises and will need a patient, loving adopter to help her continue to blossom 🌱 A calm, mellow home would be ideal. She’s working on crate training and making great progress. She will be spayed once she gains a bit more weight—fully covered by the rescue—and is up to date on vaccinations. Ready to give Wilma the safe, loving home she’s been waiting for? 👉 www.underdogrescueranch.com/adopt
