PLEASE COMPLETE THE ADOPTION APPLICATION FIRST. WE DO NOT RESPOND TO ONLINE INQUIRIES – ONLY ADOPTION APPLICANTS. ADOPTION LINK: https://airtable.com/appJMHBItTE2RWdqD/shrsP6tKWM2HcFZaA GEORGIA ADOPTIONS ONLY – WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT OF STATE. Located in Atlanta, GA Pam is a 1-year-old, 35-pound sweetheart who is looking for her forever family. Pam’s journey began when her mama, a small Pinscher mix, was rescued while pregnant. After giving birth, Pam was fortunate enough to stay with her mama until she was 10 weeks old, giving her a wonderful start in life. She was adopted as a puppy and spent the last year with her family. Unfortunately, due to significant life changes beyond anyone’s control, they made the heartbreaking decision to return her to rescue so she could find the stability and attention she deserves. Pam is healthy, happy, incredibly smart, and absolutely loves people. She is a true social butterfly who thrives when she has friends by her side. Whether she’s meeting new people, playing with other dogs, or simply hanging out with her family, Pam is always ready to be part of the action. She’s also very intelligent and eager to learn. Pam picks up on new things quickly and loves having a job to do. When she’s not showing off her smarts, you’ll find her soaking up the sunshine, relaxing beside her favorite people, or cuddling up after a day of fun. At just one year old, Pam is still very much a young dog. Like all puppies and adolescents, she’s continuing to learn and mature. Dogs don’t fully mature until around two years of age, so she’ll do best with a family that understands the commitment, patience, and consistency that come with raising a young dog. The good news? You won’t be doing it alone. Why Adopt Pam Through Our Best Chance Program? We are committed to helping both dogs and adopters succeed. • Training sessions through our trusted partners • Ongoing support from our rescue team whenever questions come up • Updated vaccines and preventative care • Spay/neuter included through one of our partner veterinarians • Lifetime commitment, if life ever changes, all of our dogs always have a place to come back to Our goal is not just to find Pam a home. Our goal is to find her the right home, the one where she’ll be loved, understood, and cherished for the rest of her life. Pam has already experienced one family saying goodbye through no fault of her own. We would love nothing more than to see her find her forever family once and for all. If you’re serious about adding a wonderful companion to your family and are ready for the commitment of a young dog, Pam may be the perfect match for you. Apply today and give Pam the forever home she deserves.

ADOPTION LINK: https://airtable.com/appJMHBItTE2RWdqD/shrsP6tKWM2HcFZaA GEORGIA ADOPTIONS ONLY – WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT OF STATE. Located in Atlanta, GA Meet Kelly from the Office Litter! 🐾 Kelly has been part of our rescue since she was just a tiny puppy, born to a Miniature Pinscher mix mama weighing about 20 lbs. We suspect dad may have been a Black Mouth Cur mix, giving her that unique look and well-rounded personality. She was raised in our Best Chance Program, where she built a strong foundation in confidence, structure, and basic training. Now almost a year old and around 35 lbs, Kelly has grown into an incredible young dog. She does well with other dogs, loves people (including kids), walks beautifully on a leash, and settles nicely in the crate. She understands the “place” command and has proven to be an easy, enjoyable dog to live with. She’s playful when it’s time to play, but knows how to relax and just be part of the home. Kelly was recently returned to the rescue through no fault of her own. Due to changes in her previous family’s living situation, they were no longer able to keep her. While that’s never an easy transition, Kelly has handled it well and is ready to move forward with a family who can give her the stability she deserves. Why Adopt From Us? • Best Chance Program: includes a 30-day transition period with training sessions through our trusted partners to set everyone up for success. • Adoption Fee Covers: spay/neuter (already completed), updated vaccines, and a month of flea & heartworm preventative to go home. • Lifetime Support: we’re always here for you and your new pup. Kelly is the kind of dog people say they want, well-mannered, social, and easy to live with. Now she just needs the right home to stick. Ready for a dog who already knows how to be a great one? Apply today and make Kelly part of your family.

Story
Chester – ID #18758 – Kennel #322 – Arrived May 5th (Stray) – Chihuahua Mix – Brown and White – Male – 8 Years Old – 9.3 lbs – Up to Date on Vaccines – Heartworm Positive Meet Chester, an eight-year-old Chihuahua mix who arrived at Cobb Animal Services as a stray on May 5th. He is an absolutely adorable little boy — warm brown with a soft cream muzzle and chest, oversized ears that frame his face perfectly, and the most enormous, soulful brown eyes you have ever seen. One look at that face — those enormous eyes, those oversized ears — and it is impossible not to smile. Chester is scared right now, as any small dog in a shelter would be — but here is the wonderful thing: he warms up quickly. This is not a dog who will keep you waiting long. Offer him a tasty treat and he will sit right up and show you exactly who he is — a sweet, charming little guy who already knows how to work a room. He is good with other dogs and good with children, making him a wonderful fit for all kinds of homes. Chester is heartworm positive. If you live in Georgia, Cobb Animal Services will cover the entire cost of heartworm treatment if you adopt him. You simply need to bring him back for his scheduled treatment appointments and give the prescribed oral medication at home. Heartworms are not contagious between dogs. With proper treatment and care, heartworm-positive dogs can go on to live full, happy lives. A senior dog in a shelter is one of the great injustices in animal rescue. Chester has lived a full life and deserves to spend his remaining years wrapped in comfort, warmth, and love — not in a kennel. He is cute, he is sweet, he warms up fast, and he is ready to be someone's whole little world. Give Chester the second chapter he deserves. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. • Rescue Story: She was found on the street in South Korea at just 2 months old and sent to a high-risk city shelter along with her four siblings. Luckily, she was rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team and sent to her foster home 2 months later. Her foster family has been taking good care of her since, and she’s been living peacefully with the resident dog. LeeJu is now more than ready for a furever home! • Personality: Friendly, Curious, Cautious LeeJu is such a friendly and lovable pup with a curious and cautious personality. Her energy level is mid-low as she mostly chills in a kennel at home and prefers to have light walkies mainly for the bathroom. • Affinity with - Dogs: Super friendly with other dogs as long as they are not too large or aggressive. She doesn’t respond to barking dogs as well. She currently lives with a resident dog in her foster home, so she will be a good fit for a family with other furry companions. - Cats: Good with cats. - Adults/Kids: Good with both adults & kids. She is calm even when kids pet her. • Walking Manners: Well-mannered! • Housetrained: Fully housebroken, mainly using the bathroom outdoors but sometimes indoors when she can’t go outside. • Bathing/Brushing: Very good. • Car Rides: Not anymore. She got better at car rides. Her foster tries to walk her for potty before jumping into the car. • Separation Anxiety: None. • Barks/Howls: A little bit towards continued noise from outside the house. • Appetite/Food Allergies: She likes any sort of food! / No food allergies. • Likes/Dislikes: She loves being petted on her face while snuggling up to your side! / She feels cold easily due to her short coat. • Shedding level (1~10): 5-6 • Health: Had surgery on both knees in 2021 and recovered fully. Now maintaining her weight is important. Otherwise, she’s healthy! 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Story
Primrose (Rosie) 5 year old blue/fawn Min Pin 6.5 lbs. Docked tail, natural ears Fully vetted Owner surrender Available in the metro Atlanta area Rosie is a tiny bundle of energy who has 2 speeds... Asleep or bouncing everywhere. She is crate trained. She is working on house training. Due to her tiny size, she needs to go out every 1-2 hours. I was told she used pee pads to an extent in her prior home, but I have not tested that as I prefer not using them. She will do anything for food, so working with her is quite easy. She loves meeting new people and is completely loyal to her people. She constantly wants to be held or play. She is dog selective and gets along with dogs who are of similar size and not in her face. If you have other small dogs, we would definitely recommend bringing them to meet her. Because of the dog selectiveness, she would also thrive as an only dog where she could get all the attention. No kids under the age of 10 due to her size. We prefer for Rosie to have a secure fenced yard because that is all she has known her entire life. She does not want to do her business on leash. If interested in adopting Rosie, please complete our adoption application at: http://tinyurl.com/mpmrapp Note: All pets in the home must have a verifiable vet reference and must be spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and on heartworm prevention.

Story
Local adoption only! Chiquita 5.5 year old chocolate Min Pin (DOB 9/30/2020) 11 lbs. Fully vetted Chiquita is a very shy dog who received little socialization due to when she was born. Because of her hesitance with strangers, an adopter must be willing to repeatedly come to her foster home to meet her prior to an adoption. Once she decides to trust someone, she does so completely and will be that person's shadow. Chiquita requires a secure fenced yard. She does not like to be leashed and can escape any harness. A low traffic environment in an adult only home is ideal where she doesn't have to meet strangers often or travel. Chiquita loves other small dogs though was never taught appropriate play behaviors. Some dogs don't care for her exuberance in that her favorite thing is to run and pounce. She is crate trained but would gladly sleep with her person. She has done well with house training when kept on a schedule. Once Chiquita is comfortable with someone, her personality shines. She acts like any other dog, but it takes time and patience to get her to that point. She is very energetic and would love another playful friend. A confident dog would most likely help her adjust faster as well. We do not want her bounced around because someone is unfamiliar with shy/fearful dog behavior so are trying to be as transparent as possible. She would love more than anything for her new person to be a homebody, though if travel or an emergency does come up, she's more than welcome to stay with her foster even after the adoption is finalized. Apply to adopt at: http://tinyurl.com/mpmrapp Note: MPMR requires all applicants to have their dogs current on vaccines, spayed or neutered, and on heartworm prevention unless there is verifiable medical reason why this cannot be done.

Due to an upcoming move and the sale of our home, we are looking for a loving forever family for this sweet boy. We've had the privilege of caring for Shanka for several years and want nothing more than to see him in a safe, stable, and caring home.Shanka is approximately 4 years old, weighs 25 lbs, and has the most wonderful personality — alert, curious, affectionate, and full of life. He loves curling up in your lap for TV time just as much as he loves zooming around the yard. He would thrive in a home with some outdoor space to stretch his legs.He is a gentle, loving dog who deserves consistency and kindness, and we are committed to making sure he goes to exactly the right family. We are only able to place him with someone who is ready and able to care for him long-term.
