Story
Meet Naia!  Naia had a blast during her pool day/photo shoot. Very fitting since her name means “water nymph” in Greek!  Naia is about a year and a half old and not even 12 lbs, although she definitely needs to gain a couple pounds. Having been found as a stray, we don’t know anything about what her previous life was like but considering she was found very underweight and had pyometra and is heartworm positive it’s safe to say it wasn’t a very good life!  She’s not letting that get her down though! Naia has already started gaining some much needed weight and her pyometra was resolved when she was spayed. She’s started on her heartworm treatment and will be as good as new once that’s completed - all treatment medications are provided by RMG.  Now all that’s left is to find the perfect Forever Family for this super special, soulful little girl. Think that might be you? Email adrienne@rescuemega.org or fill out an adoption application on our website - www.rmgdogs.org ##2459625##

Story
Hi! My name is Calisto. Since I have that name, you should know I think I am a pirate. "Aye, Aye, Matey." I have a pirate's handsome dark looks, swashbuckling style, and a permanent wink. Pretty cool, huh?  I am a 5-year-old, 14 lb. Minature-Pinscher mix. I am tall and trim with iwell-defined muscles. You probably noticed I am missing an eye; it was from an accident a long time ago, but it doesn't bother me - it's what gives me my pirate swagger.  I am doing super in my foster home and get along well with the other three dogs, but I love the humans most. I love it when they hold me and give me lots of pets. If they are busy with their hands, I get the pets from their feet. By the way, I do prefer ladies, but I'm okay with a patient man. I am also quiet in my crate at night and when you need to go somewhere. You should know that I absolutely love to eat. I have 'nosed" out all the food locations in the house, but they keep it all where I can't help myself. I like going outside and being on furniture and even a soft dog bed. I am just a very agreeable guy. I would love to be the new pirate in your home! Can't wait to meet   Here is his album:  https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjAfvru       An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms    Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. Please read! Local adoption only! MPMR requires all applicants to have their dogs current on vaccines, spayed or neutered, and on heartworm prevention unless there is verifiable medical reason why this cannot be done. If interested in adopting this dog, please complete our adoption application by pasting the following web address into your browser. http://tinyurl.com/mpmrapp Chiquita 4.5 year old chocolate Min Pin (DOB 9/30/2020) 11 lbs. Fully vetted -- Mmust be willing to repeatedly come to her foster home to meet her. -- Woman only home. -- Secure fenced yard required without exception. -- Low traffic environment is best where she doesn't have to meet strangers often or travel. -- Does well with small dogs her size, but other pup friends should match her playful energy level. -- Crate trained but would gladly sleep with her person -- House trained on a schedule -- No children. -- No cats. -- No large dogs. -- No men. They terrify her. -- No apartments or condos. -- Don't expect her to be okay with leash walks or dog parks because she is too nervous. -- Has severe motion sickness even with short rides. Can last a few days. Once Chiquita is comfortable with someone, her personality shines. She acts like any other dog, but it takes time and patience to get her to that point. She is very energetic and would love another playful friend. A confident dog would most likely help her adjust faster as well. We do not want her bounced around because someone is unfamiliar with fearful dog behavior so are trying to be as transparent as possible. She would love more than anything for her new person to be a homebody, though if travel or an emergency does come up, she's more than welcome to stay with her foster even after the adoption is finalized.

Story
MPMR requires all dogs in the home to be spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and on heartworm prevention unless your veterinarian has a verifiable reason as to why this cannot be done Ari 10-12 year old female Min Pin 16 lbs. fully vetted If dogs could talk, I am sure this girl would have a story to tell. Ari came to us horribly neglected and nearly starved to death. Her teeth are not much more than nubs, though that doesn't stop her from eating anything. To top it all, she had a gigantic lipoma that had to be removed as it was causing balance and walking difficulties. Her health is now clear, and Ari is ready to find her forever home where she can be spoiled. Feisty, sassy and independent describe this girl. It took her a bit of time to figure out where the door outside was here due to limited vision, but now that she's learned, she has house training down. Someone just needs to give her time and patience of repeated attempts at showing her the way for a few weeks. She loves adults but isn't too keen on fast movements of children. Cats do not seem to bother her, and while she tolerates other calm dogs, she would do just as well as an only dog as she has no interest in playing with them. She would rather spend her time with people whether that's sitting on the couch, going for rides, relaxing in a fenced yard, or walking on leash. If you are willing to give Ari a home for her golden years, please complete an adoption application at the following web address: http://tinyurl.com/mpmrapp Contact mpmrgeorgia@gmail.com with any additional questions.

Story
Lucy is 6 and is originally from Georgia. She was a rescue from a shelter here and lived for over 5 years with my mother in Texas. When my mom’s health started to decline, we moved her and her dogs to live with us back in Georgia. When she passed, we inherited Lucy and a chihuahua, who we have been able to rehome already. Lucy is very sweet and loving. She has had some trouble with our 2 dogs and 2 cats, but mostly it’s about food. She doesn’t actually fight with them. We’d love to find her a home with people who like to cuddle. She likes walks but doesn’t need long or lots of them. She’s a home-body.
