Fully vetted -- Mmust be willing to repeatedly come to her foster home to meet her. -- Woman only home. -- Secure fenced yard required without exception. -- Low traffic environment is best where she doesn't have to meet strangers often or travel. -- Does well with small dogs her size, but other pup friends should match her playful energy level. -- Crate trained but would gladly sleep with her person -- House trained on a schedule -- No children. -- No cats. -- No large dogs. -- No men. They terrify her. -- No apartments or condos. -- Don't expect her to be okay with leash walks or dog parks because she is too nervous. -- Has severe motion sickness even with short rides. Can last a few days. Once Chiquita is comfortable with someone, her personality shines. She acts like any other dog, but it takes time and patience to get her to that point. She is very energetic and would love another playful friend. A confident dog would most likely help her adjust faster as well. We do not want her bounced around because someone is unfamiliar with fearful dog behavior so are trying to be as transparent as possible. She is great at alerting you to any visitors or deliveries, and while she has a big bark, her wiggly body gives away just how excited she is to make new friends. 📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. • Rescue Story: She was found on the street in South Korea at just 2 months old and sent to a high-risk city shelter along with her four siblings. Luckily, she was rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team and sent to her foster home 2 months later. Her foster family has been taking good care of her since, and she’s been living peacefully with the resident dog. LeeJu is now more than ready for a furever home! • Personality: Friendly, Curious, Cautious LeeJu is such a friendly and lovable pup with a curious and cautious personality. Her energy level is mid-low as she mostly chills in a kennel at home and prefers to have light walkies mainly for the bathroom. • Affinity with - Dogs: Super friendly with other dogs as long as they are not too large or aggressive. She doesn’t respond to barking dogs as well. She currently lives with a resident dog in her foster home, so she will be a good fit for a family with other furry companions. - Cats: Good with cats. - Adults/Kids: Good with both adults & kids. MEET TINK! Tink was picked up as a stray in Cherokee County. She spent a few days at the shelter before anyone could touch her, pick her up or walk her. Everyone knows I love a good behavior challenge. So I got her out in the play yard to take her picture. We posted her photo on socials and kept an eye on her for a few days, then a friend spotted her and asked to foster to get her out of the shelter. I challenged Nancy ... If she could pick her up, hold her, pet her, we could walk out the door. It happened. She did it within minutes. Patience and love win every time. Tink is now settling in her foster home, making friends, and enjoying what's left of her puppy year. She appears to be house trained already, will be available after her spay surgery January 6, 2026. Tink is almost 1 year old, 14 pounds, full of personality and wants to be your home office partner! Tink likes other dogs, cats, and people. She has not been around small children yet. She is still learning that the world is not so scary. We are going at Tink's pace. Slow and steady wins the race.
