Story

Bongo was rescued from the north central shelter in LA and is a very sweet little senior. He doesn’t need much except some love and affection. He’s got a lot of pep in his step for his age and does well on the leash. He also has the cutest little floppy ears when he walks! He rarely barks and sleeps in the crate all night and eats well. HIs foster mom describes him as very easy to handle and will allow baths and eye drops without any fuss. We are still working with him on potty training but other than that he is super easy and looking for his furever home to settle into for the rest of his years.

Muffin is a sweet cuddly girl who loves her people and being the center of attention. She doesn't love other dogs but is good with cats and even bunnies! Muffin was euth listed at seaaca animal shelter and she was so happy to make it out. Due to her traumatic past she can become a bit insecure when being pet by strangers and although she will tolerate it temporarily, she can become reactive if pet too long. Muffin wants to get to know you before touching her too long, especially in vulnerable areas like her tummy. Muffin can be a bit of an escape artist so ensuring shes not right behind you before exiting your home is essential to prevent her from squeezing between your legs to get out. Although Muffin has a double cherry eye, it doesn't bother her one bit. Besides that, Muffin is a dream! She loves to play, she loves to cuddle when your watching TV, she's a total ham and will make you laugh by being goofy playing with her toys. Sherlock is ready for his furever home!! We rescued Sherlock from Harbor shelter back in December. Poor guy has had a rough go of things. It’s very obvious he was abused and has some trauma we’ve been working through. He spent several months with one of our trainers working to build confidence and has come a long way. Sherlock is now settled in with a foster and is doing very well. He’s around 2-3 years old and a poodle mix of sorts. He warmed up very quickly to his foster mom and is super affectionate. He takes a while longer to warm up to men, which is understandable. He will need patience there and someone committed to continuing to work through this and help him build more confidence around men. He LOVES his walks and other dogs. He follows the other dogs in his foster home around everywhere. He would do best with a confident doggie buddy in his furever home. He couldn’t care less about the cats in his foster home and has really settled in wonderfully. He loves his crate and does well in there for several hours at a time as needed. Sherlock will thrive in a patient home with another dog and loving people willing to continue to show him the world and that people aren’t so scary. In return you will get a velcro cuddle buddy who just wants to be your best friend.
