Story
Meet Murray Mills, a 10-pound gentleman with a heart as big as his fluffy curls! He is around 10 years old. This sweet poodle mix is the perfect blend of calm, cuddler and occasional goofball — he loves to snuggle but will happily prance around when the mood strikes. Murray enjoys his neighborhood walks, but is a little grumpy if neighbors want to say hi to him. He seems to prefer to be the only male dog, but that could change if he meets the right one. He loves to run around our fenced yard! A happy boy,  Murray also gets adorable spurts of energy and when he does his smile melts hearts. He’s fully potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and thrives on companionship, so he’d love a home where someone is around most of the time to keep him company. He does vocalize his dislike of his human leaving, but he does settle down. Murray sleeps soundly in his cozy dog bed, but of course, he is happiest when he’s close to his people, watching the action (or maybe sniffing what’s cooking!).  Like many distinguished seniors, Murray has a few quirks — he wears a belly band due to marking ( lets him roam around with us and protects our furniture) and his vision and hearing aren’t what they used to be these days. He only has one good eye; the other one was not visual and was painful for him, so they removed it. He gets around just fine. However, he can be a bit moody or grumpy at times, so his ideal home would not have little ones that might alarm him. Sweet, social, and full of heart, Murray Mills is ready to bring warmth, smiles, and loyal companionship to his forever home. Story
Aspen: The Easy Roommate Specialty: Existing peacefully in your general vicinity. If you’re looking for a dog that will leap into your arms, lick your eyeballs, and demand 24/7 belly rubs... please keep scrolling.  Aspen is not that guy. Aspen is a 11-pound feline who accidentally ended up in the dog department. His motto is ‘look all you want, and touch me sometimes’. He’s looking for a calm, quiet home where he can be part of the "household happenings" without the pressure of being a lap dog. The Aspen Essentials: • Aspen is a professional napper. It’s his favorite pastime and he’s very good at it. • Takes treats from your hand like a Victorian prince • Socially Indifferent: He coexists with other dogs by professionally ignoring them. • Personal Space: He prefers "hanging out" over "cuddling." If you value your personal bubble, he’s your guy. •House trained and will let you know he needs to go out by walking to the door. The Medical Fine Print Aspen is currently Heartworm Positive. But don't let that scare you! He takes his medication like a champ and the Rescue will pay for the entire heart worm treatment.   If you feel Aspen is the roommate you always wanted, fill out an application so we can schedule a meet and a greet.   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
Ace is a 9-year-old dog with a huge heart and an incredibly loyal personality. Once he trusts you, he’ll be your best friend and loves being close to the people he cares about. He’s affectionate, loving, and enjoys spending time with his family. This has been an incredibly difficult decision for me, but I want what’s best for Ace. Unfortunately, he struggles with anxiety and requires ongoing medication and regular veterinary care. Due to financial difficulties, I’ve reached a point where I can no longer consistently keep up with his medications and vet appointments, and he deserves someone who can provide him with the care and stability he needs. I’m looking for a patient, understanding home that will give Ace the love, attention, and medical care he deserves. He isn’t “broken”, he just needs someone who can continue supporting him and help him feel safe. My hope is to find someone who will love him as much as I do and give him the happy, comfortable life he deserves.

Story
**You must live in Metro Atlanta to adopt her** Just like her famous namesake, Liza Minnelli knows she’s a star… the only difference is she’d rather perform zoomies than Broadway numbers. Liza is a 5 year old, 13 lb Poodle mix (with what we suspect is a splash of Dachshund) who has perfected the art of living her best life. Her daily schedule is simple: eat breakfast, immediately request a potty break, race around the yard with her foster siblings at top speed, play with every toy she can find, demand belly rubs, and then curl up next to her favorite human like she pays the bills. She’s incredibly loyal and happiest when she’s with her family. Whether you’re watching TV, working from home, or just existing, Liza believes your lap (or at least the spot right beside you) is exactly where she belongs. She’s also a bit of a food critic. Fancy training treats? Meh. Carrots? Hard pass. Fruit? Absolutely not. She’d like to file a formal complaint that affection isn’t sold by the pound because belly rubs are the only reward she truly values. Liza is crate trained while you’re away, enjoys the comfort of a routine, and is ready to bring plenty of laughs, love, and cuddles to her forever family. If you’re looking for a tiny best friend with a big personality, championship-level zoomies, and an endless supply of snuggles, Liza Minnelli is ready for her standing ovation. Unfortunately, Liza's previous home did not keep her on heartworm preventative, so she does have heartworms. Her treatment is included in the adoption fee, but this is why she must stay in Metro Atlanta, so she can get to our vet partners. Apply to adopt her on www.orphanannierescue.org Her adoption fee is $400, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, dental cleaning, and heartworm treatment.

Story
Meet Dixie — a happy, friendly poodle mix who is ready to find her forever home alongside her best buddy, Daisy! At about a year and a half old, Dixie is affectionate, social, and loves spending time with both people and other dogs. She has a fun-loving personality and enjoys playtime just as much as cuddle time. Dixie and Daisy share a close bond and must be adopted together. Like many young dogs, Dixie is energetic and curious, and she will need a securely fenced yard where she can safely play and explore. She can be quick at open doors, so a home without small or very young children is recommended to help keep her safe. Dixie is looking for a patient, loving family ready to welcome two wonderful companions into their lives. Dixie currently weighs about 40lbs., is approximately 1 year old (est. birth date 02/19/2025), and her adoption fee is $510. Dixie has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Dixie and Daisy, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.

Story
Meet Daisy — a lovable young poodle mix with a sweet personality and a playful spirit! At about a year and a half old, Daisy is friendly, affectionate, and enjoys being close to her people. Daisy is very bonded with her best friend, Dixie, and the two must be adopted together. Because she is still young and curious, Daisy will need a home with a securely fenced yard and a family that can be mindful at doors, as she may try to slip out if given the opportunity. For that same reason, a home without small or very young children would be the best fit. If you’re looking for a sweet companion with lots of love to give, Daisy is ready to meet you — especially if you have room in your heart for her best friend too! Daisy currently weighs about 45 lbs., is approximately 1 year old (est. birth date 02/19/2025), her adoption fee is $510. Daisy has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
