Meet Thalia! Thalia is a 5 year old, 11 lb Miniature Poodle with a gentle and sensitive soul. She can be nervous when first adjusting to new environments, so she’ll need a patient and understanding adopter who can give her the time and space to feel safe and secure. Because of this, Thalia is not a good match for homes with young children under 10. Once she feels comfortable, Thalia’s sweet personality truly shines. She’s a loving little companion who enjoys snuggling up with her favorite person and soaking up affection. She’s also quite curious and enjoys exploring her surroundings and playing with toys. Thalia thrives in the company of other dogs and REQUIRES a canine companion in her forever home to help her feel confident and happy. She has also done well with cats in her foster home. She’s been making good progress with house training, though she will need continued patience as she learns a new routine. Thalia is not yet comfortable walking on a leash, so a securely fenced yard is a REQUIREMENT for her safety and comfort. Meet Murray Mills, a 10-pound gentleman with a heart as big as his fluffy curls! At 11 years young, this sweet poodle mix is the perfect blend of calm, cuddler and occasional goofball — he loves to snuggle but will happily prance around when the mood strikes. Murray enjoys his neighborhood walks, but is a little grumpy if neighbors want to say hi to him. He also loves to run around our fenced yard! A happy boy, Murray also gets adorable spurts of energy and when he does his smile melts hearts. He’s fully potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and thrives on companionship, so he’d love a home where someone is around most of the time to keep him company. Murray sleeps soundly in his cozy dog bed but is happiest when he’s close to his people, watching the action (or maybe sniffing what’s cooking!). Like many distinguished seniors, Murray has a few quirks — he wears a belly band due to marking ( lets him roam around with us and protects our furniture) and his vision and hearing aren’t what they used to be, though he gets around just fine with a little patience and reassurance. Bijou is a sweet little Poodle mix. He is about 2-3 years old and weighs 10 pounds. He was found dumped on the side of the road in a crate with another dog who has since been adopted. Bijou was matted and terrified when he arrived at Tiny Paws. It’s been a long road but he has made excellent progress and come such a long way in his foster home, but is still quite shy when meeting new people. Bijou is sweet and affectionate to his foster mom. He is so excited to see her that he gets the “tippy tappies” and that has become his nickname. He loves his foster siblings and we are requiring another confident dog in the home that can help show him the ropes!
