Story
Meet Judd Nelson! Your Loyal, Curly-Haired Companion!  Judd Nelson is an adorable, 11-pound, Poodle mix with a big heart and a great need for a special home. At just under eight years old, he is looking for a patient and loving family to help him settle into his golden years. Personality Highlights: Gender Preference: Judd Nelson is a total sweetheart who loves to stick to a female companion like glue! While he is fine with men, he forms a very strong bond with the women in his life. Good with Dogs: He gets along well with other dogs.Cat Potential: We believe he would do well with cats.  A Note on Temperament & Children Judd Nelson can be temperamental, which means he needs a home where his boundaries are respected. For this reason, we recommend a home with older children only (teenagers/mature children) or an adult-only household.  Housetraining & Training Needs Judd Nelson is a work in progress and needs continued assistance with house training. Marking: He was recently neutered this past Tuesday, which should significantly help with the marking he exhibited (mostly outdoors) prior to surgery. (He is currently wearing a belly band as he recovers). Nighttime Success: Great news—he makes it through the night without needing to potty! Recommendation: A consistent schedule of taking him outside every 2 to 3 hours is essential to complete his house training.  Ready for a loving family! If you're a patient, female-led household, looking for a fierc ely loyal, curly-haired friend to adore you, Judd Nelson might be the perfect fit! An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          December 6, 2025, 8:45 pm

Story
Kooper is 10 months and a very loving baby. He's a little skiddish and needs someone with patience and understanding. We got him from Top Dog. They provide service dogs to veterans. Kooper was unable to be a service dog because he's so timid. He is too afraid of my partner who is 6'1 and intimidating to him. Just looking for a loving home with someone who can dedicate time and patience.

A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Meet Paxton! This 9-year-old miniature poodle is a senior with plenty of personality. He can sometimes show a bit of attitude, so we recommend a home without small children. Paxton enjoys walks on a leash but would thrive with a small, dog-approved fenced yard where he can safely explore and stretch his legs. He gets along well with other dogs and would make a wonderful companion for the right family. Paxton weighs 8lbs. and is approximately 9 years old (est. birth date 01/29/2016). Paxton has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. Paxton's adoption fee is $85. Story
A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Victor is a precious miniature poodle mix. He came to us with an injured leg that required amputation. He has adjusted very well and loves to run. Victor is crate trained and can walk on a leash. His ideal home would be one with a secure fenced yard that is appropriate for a small breed dog. Victor will need a home with no small children. He is very loving, but can be protective of his people. Victor does not have a bite history, but needs a family that understands small dogs with an attitude. He is so very loving and loves to give kisses. If you’re interested in learning more about this baby, please apply to furkids.org.

Story
A ‘SPECIAL NEEDS’ HAPPY PUP:  Approx. 10 – 11 months old / Approx. 16 lbs. & growing  Hi, my name is Melanie!  I’m a special girl with a big heart — one that’s working harder than most. I was born with a significant heart condition that is expected to shorten my time here to around 3 to 4 years, but I’m determined to fill every single day with love, cuddles, and joy as I believe in living life to the fullest.  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I get along very well with the dogs in my foster home. I would likely enjoy another dog to play with in my new home, so if you have a nice doggie who would like a puppy friend, but that would also not overwhelm me, let’s meet! / I met 2 kitties when I was very young, and my regular foster thinks I may be a bit too playful for kitties. / I like the teen kids I’ve met in my foster home and think older kids like this will be best for me due to my heart condition.  I didn’t care for some younger kids I met in my foster home, so if you have calm older kids, let’s meet!   • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a happy-go-lucky pup with a sweet, lovable personality and a playful spirit that shines brightest when I’m around people. I’m not a big cuddler, and at times I’m a loner, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love being near you — I just like to enjoy your company in my own way. I’ve got some puppy energy, but because of my heart condition, I’d like a calmer home where I can play and explore without too much overexcitement.  My foster says I have a great personality and an easygoing charm, and I think once you meet me, you’ll see what a special little pup I am. / My energy level in my foster home is quite high at 6-8, though it will likely lower as time goes on. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m a pretty bright girl and already know the ‘sit’, ‘outside’ and ‘lie down’ commands.  I bet you can teach me even more! / My crate manners are excellent in my foster home. / Potty training is coming along, but due to the medications I’m on, it’s a bit of a challenge for me.  I know when I’ve had an accident, but I just can’t always hold it — especially first thing in the morning, when I might need a quick carry outside to avoid leaving a trail.  So, know that there will be accidents and let’s work together to make them as few as possible.  Because of my frequent need to go out to potty, a stay-at-home or work-from-home family member is needed.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  It’s hard to pick just one favorite, because as a happy-go-lucky pup, I love so many things — people, toys to play with and chew on, and soaking up a little sunshine outside with my family!  I’m sure we’ll discover even more things we’ll love doing together! / My foster says I get startled by things that are new to me.  Kibble in a metal bowl is suspect to me, and I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, light exercise and training. • MEDICAL:  I’m current on my annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’m on a heart medication called Vetmedin and I’ll need to stay on it for life.  My foster does some heart/stomach measurements that are an indicator as to how I’m doing, and these should be done in my new home – just ask about this.  I’ll need heart checks at UGA periodically and Mostly Mutts will pay for the one in December 2025 or January 2026.  I’m looking for a home with a cardiac knowledgeable family that understands my medical needs.  My adoption fee is $100.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.    October 30, 2025, 4:23 pm
