Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.   It doesn’t stop there! Pluto is a great dog. He is friendly with children/adults. He is a Toy poodle. He is 8lbs. Hypo allergenic. Must meet him to appreciate how wonderful he is.

Megan is an intelligent and energetic dog with a heart full of love! She loves to play, explore, and get cuddles after a busy day. Megan sleeps in a crate at night. She can be a bit shy at first but then warms up. She is a puppy with puppy energy. Megan is learning to play fetch too! She loves to chase the ball—sometimes she’ll bring it back to you, and sometimes she drops it where it is. With her enthusiasm and quick learning, she would do great in a puppy training class to continue building her skills and confidence. She is the type of dog that will need regular grooming.Megan would do wonderfully with a family that has children or with another younger dog or puppy to keep her company. She’s curious about cats, though she hasn’t had direct interactions yet. With her loving nature and eagerness to learn, Megan will make a fantastic addition to the right home.Due to her energy level she really needs a fenced yard to call her own and run in.
