Story
Try not to fall in love with this handsome and happy tri-paw’d. Reading his bio is where it begins, next thing you know you’re in love. This gorgeous grey, curly-furred boy is Jessie! He is estimated to be two years old, is possibly a miniature poodle mix, and weighs 18 lbs. Of course in rescue we cannot guarantee breed or age with accuracy but we do our best to make educated observations based on their physical traits and personality. Take a look at him in action then come back to read more about him This is going to sound cliche but when I first met Jessie I didn’t notice he was a tri-paw’d boy. It wasn’t until I went to love on him that I noticed. He is happy and gets around so smoothly it feels almost like a detail that barely matters to who he is inside. That brown-eyed boy is nothing but love! Great with other dogs, friendly, gentle, and above all else sooo loving. This is a dog that wants to greet everyone! If you regularly have guests, he will be right by your side offering a warm welcome to anyone you invite in. Given Jessie’s size and quiet disposition, he is a great candidate for apartment life! Of course, house with a yard life is a great fit as well, but I think even over a yard Jessie is looking for a home with a couch and a person to snuggle with. As for other pets, Jessie is up for having all the friends! He is great with other dogs and was a perfect gentleman with our house cat. This is a dog that will be a smooth addition to any pack or home. If you have any questions about Jessie or would like us to test him for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure she is the correct fit for you and your life! Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
8 pound, 8 year old, Sir Alfred Fitzgerald is an endearing and charismatic canine companion with a heart of gold. Affectionately known as "Alfie" to his friends, this charming little fellow is an active and social guy who thrives on human interaction. Alfie shares his foster home with another small dog and an unlikely companion—a bunny! We have no reason to believe he wouldn’t do well around a cat. His small size make him best suited for a home with older, gentle, small dog savvy kids if there are any in the home.   One of Alfie's favorite pastimes is going on long walks, where he can stretch his legs and take in all the sights and sounds of the great outdoors. He dreams of having a securely fenced yard where he can frolic and play to his heart's content, all while ensuring his safety. Alfie is a social butterfly who loves nothing more than making new friends. He greets everyone he meets with a friendly disposition. He is also the epitome of a lap dog, craving nothing more than to snuggle up close and bask in the warmth of his human's affection. He can be a bit of an escape artist, finding clever ways to explore his surroundings and satisfy his curiosity, so outings should always be on leash. Despite his mischievous tendencies, Alfie's heart is pure, and he'll shower his loved ones with as much love as they're willing to soak up. Alfie is a loyal companion who enjoys being right by your side, whether you're lounging on the couch or embarking on a new adventure. While he thrives in the company of his human family, he could be equally content with or without another dog in the home, as long as he receives plenty of love and attention. Alfie is looking for someone ready to make him a cherished member of the family. He is sure to leave a lasting paw print on the heart of anyone who welcomes him home. An Underdogs Rock Rescue adoption application can be filled out online at https://underdogsrock.org/adoption-application   Alfie has had a recent Vet check to include blood work and urinalysis. Nothing concerning in his lab work up. As is common with older small dogs, he is in need of a dental. As part of his adoption, Underdog is providing a dental along with his neuter (he will also be microchipped at the same time) which is scheduled for June 17th. He is up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. His adoption fee is $280.    April 14, 2024, 5:03 pm

Story
Bobo is an independent little fellow who can be a bit shy at times. We think he is around 5 years old. He will be your best friend as long as you respect his boundaries, like his face and feet, he doesn't like them messed with. He loves to cuddle, go on walks and ride in the car. He likes to play with his toys and gets along well with other dogs. He is perfectly fine being left home alone but CANNOT BE CRATED as this seems to create some trauma for him from his past and may make it hard for him to trust. He should not go to a home with small children but would likely be fine with older children who know how to respect his boundaries. He is a dog that will need to be groomed and doesn't care for it, so a vet will be needed for his grooming. If you would like to meet Bobo please fill out the application on our website - OFOSA.ORG and his foster dad will get back to you.

Story
This little guy is Just over a year old poodle mix. He is intelligent, intuitive and affectionate and loves to follow his human everywhere. He still has some "puppy" in him and is energetic and playful and loves toys! He does tend to be a little wary of people initially and takes a bit to open up, but he is a quite a perfect dog when he gets comfortable. He will benefit from continued training because he is still young. He may be best in a smaller active household. If you would like to meet him please fill out the application on our website - OFOSA.ORG and his foster mom will be in touch to set up a meeting and see if it's a good fit for you and him.
