Story
Meet Moncho Male DOB: 4/9/2021 Weight: 13 pounds Breed: Mini Poodle / Chihuahua Mix Neutered (Fixed) Vaccinated Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Moncho is the kind of dog who doesn’t need to be loud to be noticed—his charm is quiet, steady, and impossible to forget. At five years old, he’s fully grown into himself. He’s past the puppy stage and has settled into a calm, loving companion who knows how to simply be with his person. He’s ready for a home where he can finally relax, feel secure, and be loved for who he is. Personality Moncho is affectionate, gentle, and deeply loyal. He enjoys being close to his people and has a soft, comforting presence. He’s not overly demanding—he just wants to be near you, whether that’s sitting beside you or quietly following you from room to room. He forms strong bonds and gives his love in a calm, steady way that feels genuine. Breed Info As a Mini Poodle / Chihuahua mix, Moncho brings together: The Poodle’s intelligence, sensitivity, and trainability The Chihuahua’s strong loyalty and bond with their person This mix creates a dog who is smart, emotionally connected, and devoted, with a gentle and attentive nature. Ideal Home Moncho would do best in a calm, loving home where he can feel safe and included. He will thrive with someone who appreciates a quieter companion and is looking for a loyal dog to share everyday life with. Owner Responsibilities Moncho will need routine care, gentle guidance, and continued love. Like all dogs, he requires proper nutrition, grooming, veterinary care, and a lifelong commitment. Things to Consider Small dogs can be sensitive and bond closely with their people. Please ensure your home environment is stable and ready for a dog. The 3-3-3 Rule 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience and love, Moncho will truly settle in and shine. Veterinary Care Moncho is fully vetted, but we always recommend bringing him to your own veterinarian after adoption to continue his care. Important Note Moncho is an indoor family dog. Story
**Meet Ginger — the sweetest golden-year sidekick you could ask for 🐾** At 13 years young, Ginger still has so much love to give and is looking for a soft place to land with someone who wants a true companion by their side. She’s the kind of dog who forms a close bond with her person and happily follows her foster around, just wanting to be nearby wherever life takes you. Ginger would make an amazing office buddy, reading partner, or couch snuggler. She’s content just being with you — quietly keeping you company and soaking up all the love she can. A few things we adore about Ginger: • Gets along well with other dogs • Has been respectful around kitties (no chasing!) • Knows a few tricks • Walks nicely on leash • Rides calmly in the car • Loves to cuddle • Mostly potty trained when kept on a routine She did have one accident — on vet day — and honestly, we can all relate to stressful doctor appointments. Ginger is not looking for chaos. She’s looking for connection. A calm home, a comfy bed, some strolls, and someone to love through her senior years. In return, she’ll be your loyal little shadow and a constant reminder that some of the best dogs are the ones who have already learned what matters most. Senior dogs like Ginger are often overlooked, and that’s a loss for the people passing them by. She has the manners, the heart, and the gratitude that only comes from a dog who truly appreciates being chosen. Interested in giving Ginger the loving home she deserves? Fill out an application!

Story
Meet Kelsey! Kelsey is 10 years old but has the energy and playfulness of a puppy! Kelsey LOVES toys and he flips them up in the air, catches them and then shakes them like crazy. He is just so cute! He is about 10lbs and is good with all people, other dogs and cats. Kelsey has a dental cleaning scheduled for October 25th so we are seeking a foster to adopt for darling Kelsey. Kelsey has limited vision due to age, but he gets around no problem. Kelsey is current on all vaccines, neutered, microchipped and his blood panel came back with all normal values. Interested in Kelsey? Please email stmartinsanimalrescue@hotmail.com and ask for an application. 🐶🩵🐶
