Story
Meet Moncho Male DOB: 4/9/2021 Weight: 13 pounds Breed: Mini Poodle / Chihuahua Mix Neutered (Fixed) Vaccinated Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Moncho is the kind of dog who doesn’t need to be loud to be noticed—his charm is quiet, steady, and impossible to forget. At five years old, he’s fully grown into himself. He’s past the puppy stage and has settled into a calm, loving companion who knows how to simply be with his person. He’s ready for a home where he can finally relax, feel secure, and be loved for who he is. Personality Moncho is affectionate, gentle, and deeply loyal. He enjoys being close to his people and has a soft, comforting presence. He’s not overly demanding—he just wants to be near you, whether that’s sitting beside you or quietly following you from room to room. He forms strong bonds and gives his love in a calm, steady way that feels genuine. Breed Info As a Mini Poodle / Chihuahua mix, Moncho brings together: The Poodle’s intelligence, sensitivity, and trainability The Chihuahua’s strong loyalty and bond with their person This mix creates a dog who is smart, emotionally connected, and devoted, with a gentle and attentive nature. Ideal Home Moncho would do best in a calm, loving home where he can feel safe and included. He will thrive with someone who appreciates a quieter companion and is looking for a loyal dog to share everyday life with. Owner Responsibilities Moncho will need routine care, gentle guidance, and continued love. Like all dogs, he requires proper nutrition, grooming, veterinary care, and a lifelong commitment. Things to Consider Small dogs can be sensitive and bond closely with their people. Please ensure your home environment is stable and ready for a dog. The 3-3-3 Rule 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience and love, Moncho will truly settle in and shine. Veterinary Care Moncho is fully vetted, but we always recommend bringing him to your own veterinarian after adoption to continue his care. Important Note Moncho is an indoor family dog. He is not to be chained or left outside. Story
Cami has never met a lap she didn't appreciate or a person she didn't want to be closer to. She is loving, cuddly, dog-friendly, and brings a sweet, happy energy wherever she goes. Estimated to be around 5 years old and weighing a perfectly portable 15 pounds, Cami looks like she could be a Miniature Poodle/Dachshund mix, though breed and age are simply our best guess. Go watch Cami | The Little Glow-Up Girl on YouTube, then come right back to read more about this lovable little lady. You may notice she has less fur in parts of her video. That's because much of it was taken while she was still healing and recovering. These days, her coat is growing back beautifully and her glow-up is nearly complete. https://youtu.be/Exek5bvGI2I Cami is currently being fostered in a loving home with dogs of all sizes, from fellow little pups to larger, more playful dogs, and she fits in wonderfully with everyone. She enjoys having canine friends around and would likely love a playful dog companion in her forever home. That said, Cami is very much a people-focused girl. If given the choice between hanging out with the dogs or snuggling up with her favorite human, she is choosing her human. She is house and crate trained, and easy to take along for life's little adventures. Coffee runs? Cami is in. A stroll through the neighborhood? Perfect. Sitting next to you while you answer emails and pretending she is helping? Absolutely. While she loves a good cuddle session, she is not a complete couch potato. Cami has a playful side and enjoys running around and having fun. She balances her lap dog credentials with just enough energy to keep things interesting. One thing to know about Cami is that she likes to share her opinions, aka- she is a chatty Cami. Because of that, she is not a fit for apartment living or homes with shared walls. A house where she can chat freely without bothering neighbors will help set everyone up for success. The best part about Cami isn't her growing coat or her adorable little face. It's her resilience. She has come through a difficult chapter, settled beautifully into her foster home, and never stopped being loving through it all. Now she is simply looking for a family to love her into and through the absolute best part of her story. Ready to welcome Cami Cutie home? Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress! We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Story
Meet Kelsey! Kelsey is 10 years old but has the energy and playfulness of a puppy! Kelsey LOVES toys and he flips them up in the air, catches them and then shakes them like crazy. He is just so cute! He is about 10lbs and is good with all people, other dogs and cats. Kelsey has a dental cleaning scheduled for October 25th so we are seeking a foster to adopt for darling Kelsey. Kelsey has limited vision due to age, but he gets around no problem. Kelsey is current on all vaccines, neutered, microchipped and his blood panel came back with all normal values. Interested in Kelsey? Please email stmartinsanimalrescue@hotmail.com and ask for an application. 🐶🩵🐶
