He is a wonderful pup that just LOVES his people and gets along with all dogs, cats and children. He is crate trained, loves car rides, likes to be carried, and likes playing with his foster brother. He likes to hang out with humans on their beds/couch. He loves his toys and lounging on his dog bed. He will require a securely fenced yard. He was dumped on side of road during frigid cold and such a sweet lad looking for his forever home. Since he is a poodle mix he will require frequent grooming. Don’t let his age fool you though. Yes, he is an older fella but believe us when we say this little guy still has the youth of a youngster and has a personality that shines. His personality is so infectious that he can make even big dog lovers fall head over heels for him. Marley is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Marley is all about affection and spoiling you with his gentle love. He truly shines as a lap dog and is happiest curled up close to his person, soaking in love and giving it right back. His energy level is beautifully balanced. Not too busy and not too sleepy. Just the right amount of energy, the kind of pup who fits perfectly into your routine. He enjoys getting out for walks (and walks nicely on a leash!) but is just as content relaxing at home snuggled up next to you on the couch binge watching your favorite show or movie. He’s dog-friendly and has done great with every dog we have introduced him to. He has met dogs his size and smaller and has also been around dogs twice his size! No matter the size, Marley has shown himself to be a polite, gentle gentleman when he meets a dog on leash and shows that same level of gentleness when meeting dogs off leash. He isn’t a super playful boy for the most part, but when he does play he has a very light-hearted, bouncy playstyle that isn’t too physical. He is so cute when he is trying to get another dog to play because he does the cutest little play bows and will talk about it with a tiny little bark to get the other dog to join him. Marley is also good about respecting other dogs that do not want to play. If you don’t have other dogs, that’s fine by Marley too! He does not need the company of another dog to satisfy his energy needs or a pal to help him feel comfortable. He is a natural social butterfly and would love to be the center of your attention. Marley also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. He did not chase Biggie, nor was he bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also felt comfortable around him as well. We do not know if he has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing him with one. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for him to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! Marley has the kind of easygoing personality that allows him to thrive in many living situations. He would do very well in an apartment or condo setting, especially with someone who enjoys daily walks and a relaxed routine. His well-balanced energy level and polite leash manners make him a great neighbor-friendly companion. He would also be perfectly happy in a suburban home with a backyard, where he could enjoy sniffing around, sunbathing, and lounging after his walks. While he’d appreciate outdoor access, he doesn’t rely on a yard to be fulfilled; his happiness comes from companionship, not square footage. Hello, everyone. We have had a family member who has stepped up to help. It might not be a good solution but we need some time to find out. Jelly Bean is a very playful, intelligent, almost two-year-old poodle with lots of personality. He learns quickly. He is affectionate and gets along well with other small dogs and children. He dislikes being bored and can get anxious and into mischief when left alone for long periods of time. My husband and I travel a lot and our work days are long and Jelly Bean ends up being alone a lot which is not ideal. He needs a lot more attention than we can give him and would do best in a family where there are other dogs and people around him the majority of the time.

Meet Falkor! This handsome guy was found on the streets of Eastern Washington in very poor conditions (see picture 2). He is now all cleaned up and doing well! He is a little nervous around new rambunctious dogs & takes a minute to warm up to people, but how can you blame him for that after everything he has been through! He is nervous but has shown NO aggression toward anyone, including adults, kids, dogs & cats. He would thrive in a low stress environment with other animals that are not extremely high energy. Meet Kelsey! Kelsey is 10 years old but has the energy and playfulness of a puppy! Kelsey LOVES toys and he flips them up in the air, catches them and then shakes them like crazy. He is just so cute! He is about 10lbs and is good with all people, other dogs and cats. Kelsey has a dental cleaning scheduled for October 25th so we are seeking a foster to adopt for darling Kelsey. Kelsey has limited vision due to age, but he gets around no problem. Kelsey is current on all vaccines, neutered, microchipped and his blood panel came back with all normal values.
