Story
Hailey is about 8 years old and weighs about 18 pounds. She has had a hard life and is time for her to spend the rest of her years in comfort. She was on the streets for a while, so her hair was matted, covered with ticks, her body had many foxtails embedded including her ears and mouth. Her skin was in bad shape. But now her skin has healed, hair growing back, she has had a dental and her ears treated. Now she is ready for her loving forever home. She deserves to be the only dog in her home. Hailey needs to have a fenced yard to call her own. To meet Hailey, fill out the application at the bottom of our available dogs page on OFOSA.ORG and we will arrange a meeting to see if you and her are a good match. Her adoption fee is $280 for a fully vetted girl..

Story
Meet Rolley! He is currently not quite 3 pounds, 6 weeks old, and we think he may be a Miniature Poodle/Shih Tzu mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Rolley's video here: You’ll fall head over heels in love with tiny Rolley - he may be small but he is packed full of joy and love, and ready to give it all to that special someone. Rolley is one of three boys in his litter, and he is outgoing and curious, ready to investigate and play, yet will always boomerang back to you for attention. And this tiny fluffball is used to ALL the kisses and squishes because we’ve done all that hard prep work for you, lol. You just have to keep up a good level of all the hugs and squishes, because this tiny little cloud of a puppy has expectations! Rolley will appreciate a soft and fluffy bed to lounge in when you’re not snuggling him (please). Of course, Rolley is tiny enough to carry around with you wherever you go, and this affectionate boy will lap up all the closeness you can give him. Tiny Rolley has the softest, whitest fluffy fur - it really is like floating a 3-pound cloud in your arms. He’s perfectly happy relaxed in your lap or perched on your chest or shoulder (yes, we said perched), and Rolley will offer kisses at a moment’s notice. You’ll see him roll over for the chest scratches and belly rubs he loves so much, and we think it’s absolutely irresistible! This happy and loving boy is sure to elicit squeals of pure joy wherever he goes! Rolley is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Story
Meet Marty! This adorable fluffers weighs only 11 lbs, is about 2 years old, and we think he may be a Poodle/Schnauzer mix, but with rescue it's always a guess! This dog is from a part of the US where dogs are regularly euthanized. So, this dog needs you! If you choose a dog from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Marty's video here: Are you ready for unlimited snuggly fluffy love and affection? That's Marty Fluffkins in a nutshell, and he's ready to find his perfect forever home where he can spread smiles and joy. Marty recently underwent a rather severe haircut due to mats in his fur, but we think he's even more adorable now - he is still incredibly soft and fluffy, and absolutely squishable! (We've tested this, somewhat extensively. Marty is incredibly patient and doesn't mind, lol.) This affectionate little guy enjoys all the attention and affection you can give him, especially chest scratches and belly rubs, and will return the favour with lots of kisses and snuggles. He is not a big barker, but will show his interest with head and ear tilts (which are pretty entertaining to watch). This patient fellow allowed us to dress him up in a variety of hats, bowties, and sweaters, all without batting a single long, soft eyelash. Not one of us is immune to Marty's waggy tail, his soft floppy ears, or his joyful and loving attitude - we think Marty's pretty darn special and are sure that you will too! Marty is currently in a loving and experienced foster home with another older dog, and they get along so well. They sleep together and play together and we couldn't be more pleased to hear how quickly Marty adapts to new surroundings. Marty is already potty- and crate-trained, and knows some basic commands like 'sit'. He is still working on learning the doggy door, but we don't doubt that this clever cookie will soon master that as well. Marty enjoys soft stuffy toys and playtime with his foster sibling, but much prefers to be in a cozy bed or your lap most of the time - pretty much wherever you are is where Marty wants to be! We predict that Marty will be a champion companion! Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Apply today: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6744bb0acfa502cf2f0b1c30 Questions? Email marie@threelittlepittiesrescue.org We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey! You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience! The adoption fee is $1600 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship! We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! WOOF! I'M LEAP! I'm an adorable 1-1/2-year-old poodle-terrier mix in need of a forever home! I was rescued from a crowded California shelter and now am in a foster home, just waiting for my adopters to find me. :) I get along great with other dogs and am a joy to have around. I would do well either as an only dog or in a home with another dog, as I love companionship. I weigh 15 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
Introducing our beautiful Willow! She is a 7 lb. poodle mix with Maltese. She turned one in November. She is recovering perfectly from her spay (12/04/24). She is up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and had a dental cleaning done at the time of her spay. She is crate trained and currently sleeps in her crate peacefully with a few other companions her size. She would love to sleep in bed next to you and snuggle if you prefer. Willow is a very sweet and sometimes shy girl. She stays close to her humans when interacting with new faces as she is shy meeting people she doesn't know. Her shyness stems from being with an older couple with not much socialization outside her home but she is the kindest most gentle pup. She loves to follow you around during the day to be a part of anything you're doing. She gets along with dogs and cats alike and loves to play outside with the pack we have here. She enjoys her squeaky toys and plush blankets. She is pee pad trained although we do have her go outside for potty breaks and she does great with both. She loves her spa day, and our groomer absolutely loved her as she did wonderful. Her hair grows very beautiful and fluffy, but we did need to shave her down as she was matted. Her adoption fee is 2,000 in total. It covers her spay, vaccines, microchip/registration, dental cleaning, antibiotic shot given to aid in both the healing of her spay and dental, and her exam with our vet. It also covers her grooming costs, the training we have personally done with her and the care involved in the time she has been here with us.
