Opal – Professional Cuddler Seeking a Forever Lap ❤️ Meet Opal, an approximately 5-year-old Poodle mix whose favorite hobbies include snuggling, napping, and being as close to her people as possible. If you're looking for a sweet, quiet companion rather than a high-energy adventure buddy, Opal may be your perfect match! Opal is a gentle soul who enjoys the simple things in life: soft dog beds, cozy blankets, chew bones, and quality cuddle time. She gets along beautifully with both dogs and cats, making her an easy addition to many households. She is crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night in her crate. One of Opal's most endearing features is her adorable crooked little smile. It only adds to her charm and perfectly matches her sweet, loving personality. She is already scheduled for a dental procedure on June 23rd to help keep her smile healthy and comfortable. Opal does best with a consistent routine and is happy to take care of her business outside when given regular potty breaks. She would love a home where she can enjoy plenty of affection, cozy naps, and quality time with her family. Opal is: ✔ Approximately 5 years old ✔ Spayed ✔ Microchipped ✔ Up to date on vaccines and preventatives ✔ Dog friendly ✔ Cat friendly ✔ Crate trained ✔ Scheduled for a dental procedure on June 23rd If you're searching for a loyal, loving companion who will happily keep your lap warm and your heart full, Opal is ready to meet you! Adoption Fee: 🏡 $350 Local Adoption Fee (Texas) 🚐 $650 Out-of-State Adoption Fee (includes transport to your area)

Story
Meet Autumn! 🍂 Autumn is an 11-year-old Poodle mix and the definition of a true Golden Girl. At just 15 pounds, this sweet senior is looking for a loving home where she can spend her golden years surrounded by comfort, companionship, and all the love she deserves. Don't let her age fool you. Autumn still has plenty of life and spunk! She enjoys going for walks, keeping up with her people, and then settling in for what she does best: being the ultimate cuddle buddy. Whether you're binge-watching your favorite Netflix series or enjoying a quiet evening at home, Autumn is always happy to be right by your side. Autumn is wonderful with dogs, cats, and children, making her an easy addition to just about any family. She is crate trained, well-mannered, and knows how to be a respectful house guest. She does best when given regular potty breaks and will usually let you know when she needs to go outside. She prefers going outdoors and may have an accident if left too long without a potty break. This sweet girl was surrendered by her previous owner, and we would love nothing more than to see her find the forever family she deserves. A family that will spoil her with love, soft beds, belly rubs, and all the attention a girl could want. Autumn does have a history of pancreatitis, so she will need to remain on a low-fat diet and avoid table scraps and excessive treats. Thankfully, she is doing great, is healthy for her age, and is an excellent eater. If you're looking for a loyal companion, a professional snuggler, and a best friend who will love you unconditionally, Autumn may be the perfect match. Autumn is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on heartworm and flea prevention. Adoption Fee: $300 Local (Texas) | $550 Out of State (includes transport) Everyone who meets her falls in love. ❤️ If you think you could be Autumns best rest of her life go ahead and submit an adoption application now!

Meet Kelsey! Kelsey is 10 years old but has the energy and playfulness of a puppy! Kelsey LOVES toys and he flips them up in the air, catches them and then shakes them like crazy. He is just so cute! He is about 10lbs and is good with all people, other dogs and cats. Kelsey has a dental cleaning scheduled for October 25th so we are seeking a foster to adopt for darling Kelsey. Kelsey has limited vision due to age, but he gets around no problem. Kelsey is current on all vaccines, neutered, microchipped and his blood panel came back with all normal values. Interested in Kelsey? Please email stmartinsanimalrescue@hotmail.com and ask for an application. 🐶🩵🐶

He loves to explore, interact with people, and turn everyday moments into fun little adventures. His silly nature makes him an entertaining companion who brings laughter and light energy wherever he goes. At this early stage of life, Cruz is still learning about the world around him. He is in a key developmental period where structure, positive experiences, and consistent guidance will shape the adult dog he becomes. He is curious, social, and eager to engage with his environment. As a Poodle / Terrier mix, Cruz is expected to grow into a smart, active, and affectionate companion. This mix often produces dogs that are intelligent, playful, and highly trainable, with a strong desire to bond closely with their families. Cruz would thrive in a home prepared for: Ongoing puppy training and supervision Daily playtime, exercise, and enrichment Positive socialization experiences Structure, consistency, and routine A lifelong commitment to his emotional and physical well-being He is still in the earliest stage of life and will need a family committed to guiding him through all phases of puppy development. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Like most rescue puppies, Cruz may not have had early structure, exposure, or training before entering care. Puppies at this age require constant supervision and consistent guidance as they learn basic life skills. Adopters should expect normal puppy behaviors such as chewing, accidents, teething, learning routines, and testing boundaries. These are all part of healthy development. Cruz will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Daily structure and routine Continued socialization and exposure Patience, consistency, and supervision Gentle guidance during development Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn routine 3 months to feel fully at home With stability, patience, and love, Cruz will grow into a confident and affectionate companion. Cruz will need: Routine vet visits and vaccine boosters Preventative care (fleas, ticks, parasites) Proper nutrition for growth and development Daily exercise and enrichment Safe indoor living environment Ongoing training and socialization Because he is very young, consistency and structure are essential for his development.
