"Hi, I'm Vincenzo. It's nice to meet you! I like to run around my foster home's fenced yard, and I am learning to pick up toys to play with! I'm a good eater and very food motivated. My foster mama is teaching me to walk on a leash and some basic training. I can be fearful of loud sounds and new experiences. Because of this I will need a securely fenced in back yard at my forever home. I really like my crate, it makes me feel safe and secure. I do bark when I want something, so apartment life probably isn't for me. I didn't get enough love in my young life, but all that has changed since coming to Zoe's. You see, I was born in a kennel and no one paid attention to me, and when they did it was usually to do something I didn't like. Zoe's volunteers have been teaching me that hands are for holding and laps are for love. My foster mom spends a lot of time with me and has taught me that I can trust people." Vincenzo is a true kennel puppy. He spent the first 6 months of his life in a small cage without much human contact. He needs a very patient and gentle family who will give him time and guidance. We do require that you have fence for this sweet boy! The good news is that at 6 months old, he has a whole lifetime ahead of him for good experiences! He loves treats and is easily bribed with food. Vincenzo is not too keen on being carried around, but likes to be petted and will allow himself to be picked up. Vincenzo displays kennel type behaviors such as barking when crated, spinning in circles (both in his crate and out of it), and is overwhelmed by too much space. He prefers to be in a small space like his crate with the door open to sleep, or an enclosed dog bed. He spends a lot of time in his foster's kitchen, only venturing out to the rest of the house when everything is quiet. He likes to explore, but needs to do it on his own time. He would do best in a calm household. He LOVES other dogs and will need another dog in the home who wants a constant companion. He follows his foster sisters and brothers around like a little shadow. He likes to lick their faces and will bounce around them to get them to play with him. Vincenco is just a little baby who is learning housetraining. He sometimes has accidents and will need an adoptive home who will continue working on pottying outside. Vincenzo is 15lbs but still has some growing to do. He is a poodle mix, possibly goldendoodle, but he is very curly and will require regular grooming. He is easy to groom and tolerant of everything. Vincenzo is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has been treated with monthly parasite preventatives. He is being fostered in southern Lancaster county PA and prospective families must be willing to come to his foster home twice. He did come from a puppy mill, so he will need another dog in the home to show him the ropes and a fenced yard as he is not accepting of a leash yet. Copper is shy with humans, so patience is a must, but he is smart! He picks up on the routine quickly. He is brave with his new lease on life and enjoying life as a house dog. Tracker is a beautiful, one year old, 28 lb, pure bred Pardi Poodle and such an amazing dog. Meet Bunny. She is a miniature poodle that came to us from a commercial breeder. She is about 7 years old and weighs about 17 lbs. Bunny is on the more scared side, like a typical puppy mill dog. She is making some progress in her foster home. Bunny will do best in a home with another friendly small dog and a fenced in yard.  Bunny will need work on housebreaking. Meet Clifford. Clifford is a sweet, calm, loving 10 year old purebred mini-poodle. He has spent his first ten years as a stud dog in a commercial breeding facility and has never had the chance to be a beloved family dog. Clifford is ready to soak up all the love and comfort he's never had. He really is a wonderful older gentleman.  I think the best home for Clifford would be with a loving, retired parent or parents. Meet Aspen. Aspen came into our rescue a from a commercial breeding kennel. Aspen is a 1.5 yr old Male White Mini Poodle weighing 12.2 lbs. He's a shy little guy but is very curious and does love to snuggle and explore the yard. He hasn't made a peep yet and seems to be housetrained in his foster home with a fenced in yard. He quietly lays in his room and will sleep in his crate. He seems to do well with other dogs in his foster home. Aspen is shy at first and will bond to his people. He will do best in a home without a lot of traffic. Aspen is now neutered,  up to date with vaccines and microchipped.
