Mazie is a wonderful, sweet, loving dog. She loves to sit in your lap and cuddle. Mazie gets along very well with other dogs and is puppy pad trained. She has been fully vetted. She is healthy and recently had a dental for the teeth she has. She loves to go outside and play. Mazie is just an all around sweet girl. She would fit nicely in any quieter home. If you are interested in adopting or fostering this dog. Please visit our website - www.cockeradoptions.org   There, you will find the current status of the dog, the links to our adoption and foster applications, and detailed information about our adopting and fostering procedures.   MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION: Hi Everyone! My name is Sugar, and I just arrived at CSAC. The CSAC volunteer said that I was happy, friendly, outgoing and affectionate. I was rescued from a puppy mill. I have spent my life in a barn, a shed or a cage. The best home for me has people who have dog experience who can help with my training and acclimating to the outside world. The people in my new home should be able to teach me the skills I need to be a great pet: walking on a lead, house training, and socializing. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Vets that work with CSAC. They are checking me out and making sure I am healthy. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will help me to understand that I am a cherished family pet, not just an animal to be used to make money. For more information about this dog, email our Adoption Coordinator. Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link. The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. Click the Donate menu at the top of the screen. My name is Pearl, and I just arrived at CSAC. The CSAC volunteer said that I was friendly, calm and easy to hold. I was rescued from a puppy mill. I am timid and nervous because I have not been around a lot of people or lived in a home as a pet. I have spent my life in a barn, a shed or a cage. The best home for me has people who have dog experience who can help with my training and acclimating to the outside world. The people in my new home should be able to teach me the skills I need to be a great pet: walking on a lead, house training, and socializing. After seeing her cute face, we said please send her our way!Hazy is currently around 6 months old. She currently weighs 30 lbs and most likely will end up around 40ish.  Our best guess on breeds is some type of doodle.  A DNA test has been done, and once we have the results, we will post them! According to Hazy's foster and anyone who has met her,  she is simply an awesome puppy! She is so sweet and friendly :-). She is house trained and does wonderful in her crate. Oh, and she also walks on a leash like a champ! Hazy does well with other dogs and children; we are unsure of cats. This puppy will do well in almost any household! Hazy is microchipped, current on distemper, bordatella and rabies vaccines, current on flea/tick/heartworm preventative and has been dewormed. Her spay is schedule for 2/20/2026.  The adoption fee is $450.If you are interested in this adorable puppy, please submit an application on our website at https://worthytails.rescuegroups.org.
