Welcome Teddy to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 6 pound Mini Schnauzer mixed with Chihuahua. He should be 15 pounds or less full grown. His mom looks exactly like a high mixed schnauzer. Teddy is very fluffy and while he likes being held, he is playful. He is crate trained, good with his sibling, good in a car and uses potty pads. He isn’t overly vocal and is the most fluffy in the litter. He is not a shedder at all that we can see. His coat is soft and if you groomed him in a schnauzer cut, would look like a mini black schnauzer. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older, due to his small size. Puppies are best with someone not working all day everyday. He needs time with his human and time to finish up his puppy training. He is small enough and social, so he would be a good one to take places with you. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 600 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Sweet momma, Utopia and her five day old pups were one day away from being euthanized in a small south Texas animal control. Momma was scared and protective of her babies for a few days before she realized they were safe. NOW she is THE sweetest and most loving girl!! She needs a patient family, she is so happy with her foster mom but needs a confident and easy going family. She likely would do best with another confident dog.... she just needs to know you before she will just relax and get comfortable in your home. She is worth the wait :) She is doing good with potty training and is good with dogs and cats. She likes going for drives and walks good on a leash. She's got the cutest little tuft of fur on her head. She's smart and likes to play. Mama is likely a long haired/wire haired dachshund/terrier mix and the pups have the low rider qualities with heeler markings- ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!! All pups adopted, just mama waiting!!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX adoption only)
