Chester is a miniature Schnauzer puppy. He is ready to become your best friend. He is a tiny, whiskered gentleman with a heart twice his size. He is the definition of irresistible, with his soft, brown and white hair, and his bright curious eyes. But it’s not just his looks—his personality is pure magic. He’s playful, gentle, and full of puppy curiosity, always ready for a game or a cuddle. One of his favorite things in the world? Playing with another dog, chasing, tumbling, and exploring together, or with a human - fetch or keep away. It’s impossible not to smile watching him play or playing with him. He’s also showing that classic Schnauzer intelligence—alert, quick to learn, and eager to please. He’ll happily follow you around, “help” with whatever you’re doing, and then curl up beside you when it’s time to rest. He loves to snuggle and catch a nap laying on your lap after giving multiple kisses. He sleeps through the entire night with in a puppy pen. Tony is a Miniature Schnauzer/Poodle puppy and an all-around fun, affectionate little guy with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. He’s very people-focused and happiest when he’s close to his humans—whether that means sitting right beside you or being scooped up for snuggles. Tony is playful and social with other puppies and has formed sweet bonds during playtime, often seeking out his buddy so they can romp around together. He’s got a joyful, curious spirit and loves to stay involved in whatever’s happening around him. Tony is also a great eater and happily takes his medicine mixed into his kibble without fuss. He is food motivated, which will continue to help him as he learns and grows. He can be a little vocal at times, but it’s usually just his way of checking in—once he knows his people are nearby, he settles quickly. At night, Tony sleeps in a crate with a blanket over it alongside another puppy. He may whine or bark briefly when settling, but with gentle reassurance, he understands it’s bedtime and drifts off to sleep. He does occasionally wake during the night but is able to settle back down and hold his potty until morning. When he sees his people in the morning, he is very excited to start the day! During the day, Tony is flexible and comfortable resting on the couch near people or relaxing in a gated puppy area. He is starting to understand potty training and will try to use a pee pad when guided to it, though he’s still learning consistency and doesn’t yet signal when he needs to go out. With continued routine and structure, he will absolutely get the hang of it. Tony is friendly, a little cautious with new experiences, but always willing to take things in stride. He does wonderfully with other dogs, children, and is comfortable in the car. He’s smart, attentive, and already beginning to recognize his name, showing just how quickly he bonds with people. Overall, Tony is a sweet, loving, and adaptable puppy who is eager to connect and learn. Guy is a miniature Schnauzer/Poodle puppy. He is the ultimate love bug with a heart of gold. He may have started off a little timid, but it’s incredibly rewarding to watch him come out of his shell and grow into the loving, playful, and energetic pup. He absolutely loves being around his people and will happily stick by your side, whether you’re playing or relaxing at home. Guy is a big fan of toys and would carry one around all day if he could, and he’s just as content curling up for a nap surrounded by his favorites. He has a great time playing with his other dogs and is already very social, making him a wonderful fit for a home with other dogs or an active family. He enjoys running around the backyard just as much as he enjoys settling down to relax with you while you watch a show. Guy truly offers the best of both worlds. He’s playful and fun when it’s time for activity, and calm, sweet, and cuddly when it’s time to unwind. He’s going to make an incredibly loving and loyal companion. Guy currently sleeps in a play pen because he is still working on potty training. He has successfully slept overnight in a dog bed outside of the pen with no accidents! Welcome Major to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 6-pound Chihuahua mixed with mini schnauzer. He has the look of the Chihuahua more than the schnauzer momma. He should be 10 pounds or less full grown. His mom looks exactly like a high mixed schnauzer. Major is flat coated and while he likes being held, he is playful. He is crate trained, good with his siblings, good in a car and uses potty pads. He isn’t overly vocal and is less assertive than some in his pack. He has a tough looking stance but he is a marshmallow. He is not a shedder at all that we can see. His coat is soft and flat and the schnauzer in him will make him less of a shedding dog as he grows up. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older, due to his small size. Puppies are best with someone not working all day every day. He needs time with his human and time to finish up his puppy training. He is small enough and social, so he would be a good one to take places with you. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Sweet momma, Utopia, and her five day old pups were hours away from being euthanized in a small Texas animal shelter before they were rescued. Momma was scared and protective of her babies for a few days until she realized they were safe. Now she is a total lovebug! Utopia needs a patient family. She is shy and will take some time and lots of treats to be comfortable in her new home. She would do best with another confident dog to show her the ropes. She loves to run and play with other dogs so acclimating with them should be no problem. She is also cat friendly. Utopia does well in the car and walks great on a leash.
