Dixie is SUCH a sweet and loving girl. She would love a family with a big yard in which to play and a couch so she can snuggle with you. She gives wonderful hugs. Dixie was born about Sept 2024 and is a 32 pound love puppy (though fully grown). We don’t know her breed… mountain cur, some small bully? We do know she is affectionate and intelligent. She is fully vetted, spayed and microchipped. She has one problem and we DO have the solution. Dixie has a condition called Diabetes Insipidus. This is probably NOT the diabetes you are familiar with. She does not need insulin shots but she does require a twice daily pill; Desmopressin. The rescue will reimburse the adopter for her medication monthly and for her required checkups for her lifetime. She is energetic, playful and quite smart. Nema knows multiple verbal commands including sit, stay, and down. This precious girl deserves another chance at finding a forever home. Nema is 2 years old and weighs 37 pounds. She is UTD on vaccines and has tested negative for heart worms. Nema is also spayed and microchipped. Please stop by to meet this beautiful girl in run 17. He’s really scared in the shelter environment and would love a quiet home to spend his golden years in. He’s easy on the leash, knows how to sit and very sweet. He’s noted to be good with children and house trained, but not great with cats or dogs. You could always bring in your pets to do a meet and greet!
