Story
D’ NALA ~~ Cur Mix, Spayed Female, Fawn and White, 61 pounds, Microchipped, DOB: 5/5/2017. Currently in a foster home. Call770.475.8272 to schedule an appointment to meet her. **Will do best in a home with no other pets or children** DNala is looking for her special and loving forever family. D' Nala should be the only pet in your home. D’ Nala is not a fan of children, because they sometimes pull on her, or are loud and move quickly, which makes her nervous. D'Nala would enjoy being your hiking partner, going for car rides, having adventures and hanging out wherever you are. She thinks that a fenced backyard would be amazing too, and a comfy bed and some cool toys to play with. If you had a pool, she might even enjoy going for swims in the hot summer months. As long as you are by her side, she is the happiest girl ever. D’ Nala is healthy, spayed, microchipped up to date on vaccines and vet services and has a negative heartworm test. Her foster is working with her and teaching her some basic commands. Summertime Adoption Special: $65 until the end of the summer for all pets who are over 1 year old. D’ Nala is ready to find a family to love and care for her, people to treat her well and spend some time with her. In turn, she promises to be the best friend you’ve ever had. Call to meet her at Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic, 12604 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, GA. 770.475.8272. Weekdays 630AM to 7PM. Saturday and Sunday 8AM to 4PM. Needs experienced adopter,
Story
This stunning beautiful Brindle Mountain Cur, 1 year old puppy, needs a home. She is a sweet girl, very much a big puppy, that needs lots of space to run and play. Give her something to chew or hide your shoes. She is has been in loving foster home for about six months, mainly because it was so hard to give her up. She is so worthy of a family to love and play with.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Cletus is a 1 year old Cur mix who is very playful, spirited, energetic, and spunky! Cletus came to us with his two brothers -  Chevy (adopted) and Cowboy (still available). Cletus and Cowboy, while brothers, do not get along and will not be allowed to go home together. Cletus is a very handsome and fun loving boy who enjoys being outside, playing with toys, and running around in the park! Cletus likes to talk and tell you all about his feelings. He walks pretty well on a leash and is smart as a whip, so we think training him wouldn't be too hard!   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.  June 10, 2023, 3:23 am

Story
A perfect ten! Bo is a two-year-old male Mountain Cur mix that checks off all the boxes of the perfect family pet. This cute little tail wagger is medium in size and weighs less than thirty-four pounds. A super friendly pup, Bo loves life and is fun to be around. Gentle and affectionate, he is a good choice for those with children. Bo is popular with dogs too! He would enjoy having a doggie pal in his new home. We are not sure about kitties but can easily test that for you. Bo is looking for an active family that will take him on walks and play games with him. He is already housebroken and very well behaved in the home. A home with a fenced in backyard would be ideal. As you can see, this friendly little fella won’t last long! Story
Pixel is a beautiful. brindle Mountain Cur mix. He is just over 7 months old and weighs seventeen pounds, but will likely be a large dog when full grown. This little mischief maker is a blanket hog and tries to collect all the covers around him. He would be great in a home with children or other pets and definitely needs someone that wants to spend time playing with him and teaching him his manners. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for play, exercise and the confidence for him to succeed with his housetraining. To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.
