Story
Randy: Meet our sweet, playful Red Nosed Randy! When Randy was found wandering, he had what appeared to be a severe abrasion on his nose. It turns out that it was not an injury, but a skin condition. With the help of our vet Randy’s nose has healed but he doesn’t seem to want his fur to grow back! We think he likes being a little different! Randy loves to play and can be a bit rowdy, but with a proper introduction, and patience, he might have fun with another dog. Cats on the other hand should probably stay away! This boy is goofy, fun, and very athletic. If you are interested in a younger dog, who appears to be housebroken (he doesn’t soil his kennel), and is ready to play, come meet Red Nosed Randy. All BCAR dogs are placed as indoor family pets. No electric fences, please. Visit pets every Saturday 11:00 am to 2:00 pm (706-268-1346) or visit our website for adoption information at www.bigcanoeanimalrescue.org

Story
Hi my name is Piper and I am a 2.5 year old Plott Hound mix. I'm always happy and just about the perfect girl you'll ever meet!  I love to go on car rides or walks to explore and make new friends. I'm chill as they come with a calm, sweet personality and have proven impeccable house manners. I'm super smart, know basic commands. I am crate trained and housebroken. I love to give kisses and snuggle too!     My low-key demeanor makes me the perfect sidewalk cafe buddy. I'm good with people, dogs, and older kids, and YES, you can always count me in for playtime or game of fetch.  PSSST, I'm okay with toddlers and babies as long as visiting and my cat test went pretty well with a very chill cat!  Please give me a chance to call you my furever people. APPLY TODAY to meet me, I'll WOW you with my charm and cuteness!  Please note, we receive a large number of applications. We appreciate your patience as we complete our review processes. A personal interview, reference checks, meet and greet with pet, home visit and a solid vet history are required for adoption.  Apply for consideration to adopt at www.ruffdogrescue.org  ##1839571##
