Looking for a gentle, heart-melting companion who’s part bashful movie star and part social butterfly (once he warms up)? Then meet Gizmo — a young, medium-sized sweetheart whose smile could power a small city! At first, Gizmo might act like he’s auditioning for “The Invisible Pup” — shy, quiet, and politely hanging back. But give him a few minutes, and suddenly he’s all tail wags, happy grins, and “Hey best friend, let’s hang out forever!”. Gizmo is medium energy, loves a good romp, and absolutely adores other dogs — especially the confident kind who can show him the ropes. Gizmo’s got a submissive personality and would thrive with a furry role model to help him feel secure. Basically, if dogs were ice cream, Gizmo would be the soft-serve swirl of sweetness and loyalty that makes your heart go mushy. Apply today and come meet this gentle soul and let that megawatt smile work its magic — because once Gizmo loves you, he’s yours forever. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
