Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Meet Bruno, the adventurous 1-year-old, 29-pound Mountain Cur with a zest for life! Bruno's energy level is a solid 7 – he's a playful pup on a mission to explore every nook and cranny. Not much of a barker, he prefers wagging his tail to say hello to strangers, dogs, and maybe even cats (though cats might beg to differ – he'll try anyway, with a charming persistence). Bruno's foster family loves his love for toys, especially the art of chewing and dismantling the stuffed ones. Fetch is a work in progress – he's got the chase down, but the return? Well, let's just say he's still figuring that out. This social butterfly enjoys the company of other dogs, car rides, and is on the road to becoming a seasoned hiker. Bruno's foster assures us he's quickly learning housetraining and has started crate training. Who needs a crate when you're as charming as Bruno? He may not know commands yet, but he's a quick learner ready for some basic obedience training. In the right home, Bruno promises to be your loyal hiking buddy and eventual cuddle enthusiast. Ideal for someone experienced with hunting dogs or breeds that love a mental and physical challenge – ready to unlock Bruno's full potential. If you're ready for a lifetime of belly rubs and adventures, Bruno is your guy!    Interested in adopting? THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. December 7, 2023, 6:48 pm

Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Sponsored Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN, $175 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Meet Rocky, the goofball extraordinaire! This gorgeous brindle, 11-month-old Mountain Cur/German Shepherd Dog mix is a bundle of energetic joy just waiting to brighten your days. Weighing in at 60 pounds, Rocky's got the size to match his big heart. While he's a pro at sitting (because treats are involved, of course), he's still learning other commands in the training department. He's very enthusiastic when it comes to toys and has learned to fetch! Rocky's favorite hobby? Spreading happiness! He adores people and can't resist a good belly rub. Plus, that sweet face is scientifically proven to melt hearts! Rocky is working on his housebreaking skills (even in boarding) and is sure to master it quickly in a new home. Rocky's the life of the party when it comes to meeting new people and he loves other dogs and would be happy to share space with other dogs in his new home. Imagine this: Rocky's goofy antics during playtime followed by some well-deserved couch cuddles. Rocky is longing for the happiness that only a home can bring. Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN, $175 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Meet Tofu, the sweetest tail-wagging bundle of joy! This petite, 2-year-old, 32lb Mountain Cur mix is on the hunt for her forever home, and she comes with a smile that can brighten anyone's day. Tofu's personality is as endearing as her wigglebutt. She has a medium energy level, typically very active outside and mostly relaxed and calm inside. She likes to flop over for belly rubs all the time! She's a tad shy with new people at first, but her heart melts quickly, and she'll be your shadow in no time. Tofu is a pro at "sit" and "come" and is housetrained with no accidents plus she is trustworthy in the house. This charming girl has a playful side too! She adores squeaky toys and would love a playful doggy sibling to frolic with in a fenced-in yard. Although she's not a big fan of car rides now, we predict her confidence will grow with each adventure. Tofu's ideal home? One that's somewhat active, where she can burn off energy and have a confident dog pal. She's even kid-friendly. With a heart full of love and a happy smile, Tofu is ready to make your life a whole lot brighter. Make plans to meet this darling, and you'll see why she's the perfect addition to your family. Say goodbye to boring days – Tofu is here to make every moment a joyous one!   Interested in adopting? GRRRR-eat!!!  Check out Tony the Tiger’s cousin Arlo!!  He’s always dressed and ready for Halloween in his handsome tiger-striped Tony the Tiger suit!  But seriously, look at this boy!  Look at those GORGEOUS markings that alludes to Boxer/Mountain Cur mix....especially with the docked tail!!  This boy has it all!  For starters, Arlo is great with other dogs!  He’s a little timid to be honest and not an ounce of dominant personality at all.  As for the cats, he seems to be good with them when he was introduced to some.  Arlo is a 2 year old, 70 pound, neutered boy who is UTD on his vaccines and on his preventatives!  He is well cared for by the rescue and his foster mom.  He is very gentle and would do well with dog savvy children.  He does well on a leash, but would be great with regular walks and outings.  His favorite thing to do is go riding in the car where he sits shotgun and he looks like a pro.  He adores watching the world go by fast and he enjoys the scenery with a big smile on his face.  This beautiful boy is ready to bless a forever family and to join in the fun during the holidays.  Please consider making him a true member of your family!  Just email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  ASAP! PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.December 7, 2023, 1:37 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Phoebe and ) My brother, sister and I were dumped on a random property in rural  Mississippi when we were only three months old.  Luckily, a nice lady who lived nearby heard us crying and took us in until she could figure out how to help us find a rescue to help us.  Then another nice lady saw our story on Facebook and came to pick us up to bring us back to her house in Franklin, TN so that she could work with Critter Cavalry to find good homes for us.  My brother has been adopted and my sister is with another foster family not too far away and I’m hanging out here in Franklin!  It’s kind of a mystery exactly what our mom and dad may have looked like...thought I'm a brindle, would you believe my siblings were all white?  Most people think we’re made up of Labrador Retriever and German Shepherd, and maybe a little Husky.  And because of my color, probably Mountain Cur.  I’m four months old and I weigh about 15 pounds and I have big feet.  I’ll probably be 50-60 pounds when I grow to be an adult.  My foster mom says I’m “all puppy”…full of energy and very playful!  She’s taken me to play with other dogs and I really love that!  There’s a cat in the house but she doesn’t seem to appreciate that I want to play with her (my foster mom says she doesn’t like anybody).  I know I’d be good with other cats!   I’m doing well with potty training and I sleep eight hours at night.  My foster mom says being mouthy to get attention,  is my biggest challenge, but she’s working with me to break that habit.  I love to run and play in the yard and I’m very inquisitive.  Since I have a lot of energy, I’d LOVE to find a family with other dogs or older children…or both!  I love to give hugs and kisses and I’m a very happy puppy!  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 7, 2023, 1:37 pm
