She is still learning how to feel fully comfortable in unfamiliar environments, but every day she shows just how brave she truly is. With people, Eva is affectionate, loving, and eager to connect. Once she feels safe with you, she blossoms into a soft, devoted companion who enjoys closeness and reassurance. Eva is dog-friendly and would do best with a canine companion to help guide her and build her confidence. She is also kid-friendly, making her a gentle presence in a calm, understanding home. Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Hank, the wiggly, loveable one-year-old Mountain Cur mix who will absolutely steal your heart the moment his little nub tail starts wagging with joy! This 48-pound bundle of sweetness is friendly, playful, and adventurous, with just the right amount of energy to keep life fun without wearing you out. He's the perfect mix of goofy and charming, and he somehow gets even cuter when he's excited. Hank has this signature move where he literally folds into himself like an excited little pretzel, and it never gets old. Hank is housetrained, walks nicely on a leash, rides well in the car, and gets along great with other dogs and calm indoor cats. He's even a gentleman around chickens and horses, which is honestly impressive for a one-year-old pup still figuring out the world. He's working on sit and down, and with consistent training he's going to be an absolute star. Speaking of which, Hank would thrive with a family committed to obedience training because he's smart and eager, and the right guidance will help him shine. He loves walks, exploring, playing with dog friends, chewing on bones, and basically any adventure you're willing to take him on. Once he's settled into a crate, he does just fine and relaxes. Hank is the kind of dog who just wants to be included in your walks, your errands, your lazy evenings, and everything in between. If you're looking for a sweet, silly, and loving companion to share your life with, Hank is your guy! THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. May 16, 2026, 10:52 am

Story
Current Location: West Point, VA Meet Gena. This 10 month old, 50lb, tri-color beauty is a mountain dog mix with a story that reflects true resilience. She made a long journey from Albania after being found as a frightened, injured puppy hiding in the bushes. Over time, her fear turned into curiosity, and then into trust. Today, she is a bright, playful, and loving young dog ready to find her place. Gena is friendly, smart, and full of life. She loves people, does great with kids, she's good with cats and she enjoys the company of other dogs. She is especially happy outdoors, where she can relax, watch the world go by, or explore. Whether she is soaking up the sun, watching birds, or heading out for a walk, being outside is where she feels most comfortable and at ease. She will do best in a home with a medium to large fenced yard and a doggie door so she can move freely between indoors and outdoors. An active family that enjoys time outside, walks, and adventures would be a perfect match. If there is another dog in the home, a similar age and energy level would suit her best, as she loves to run and play with dog friends. Inside, Gena is still learning how to settle. She can be a bit restless and curious, which is typical for a smart, energetic puppy. With consistent exercise, enrichment, and guidance, she will continue to grow into a more relaxed adult. She is food and praise motivated and is already working on English commands like come, down, and off. She rides well in the car and handles new environments with confidence. Gena is crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night. She adapts well to rural, suburban, or even city living, as long as she has the ability to spend plenty of time outside during the day. Gena is more than just a beautiful dog. She is a survivor with a joyful spirit and so much potential. With the right home that understands her need for outdoor time, activity, and gentle guidance, she will grow into a deeply loyal and loving companion who brings energy, connection, and heart into every day.
