Story
This is Marley. He is 4 years old. He's black, white, and brindle. Furthermore, he's a Mountain cur lab mix. Marley is a friendly, loving dog who's very adventurous and loves being outdoors and enjoys his daily walks. Marley can be stubborn but with the firm training he is a great dog. He can be very excitable towards other dogs, however he’s not too sure about other cats. He definitely needs a lot of space or a full fenced yard big enough for him to run around and play.

Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation: $100 if picked up in TN, $175 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Arabella, the precious one-year-old black and white pup weighing 35 pounds! She is possibly part American Staffordshire Terrier, with Mountain Cur in the mix. This sweet, good-natured gal has medium to high energy – a real party animal, even on her trusty zip line in the yard! Arabella's talent? She's mastering playing fetch while rocking that zipline chic. Crate time is no problem. She aced it, sleeping through the night like a pro. She seems to be housetrained and knows how to use a doggie door. Though she's a bit of an escape artist (she floats over most fences, be warned!), Arabella's affectionate nature shines. She's a tad shy meeting new humans but warms up after a few minutes. She plays hard with other dogs, doesn't bother the goats, and hasn't met the cat yet. Arabella's charm and gentle demeanor make her the paw-perfect addition for an active home with someone who likes to go for long walks and runs or has a tall wood privacy fence. If you are up for dog training fun and have plenty of love to spare, Arabella's ready! Adopt Arabella today!  Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. February 24, 2024, 2:59 pm

Story
We are desperately seeking a foster home for our Luna girl. She's a 6 year old 50ish lb beautiful brindle girl.  A few months ago, Luna came back to us when her adopter’s housing situation changed. Without an open foster home, Luna went into boarding. She has been doing really well there, but we’d love to see her back in a home.   Luna hasn’t lived with other dogs before and we’re told she can be dog selective, so we’re looking for a foster home where she can be the only dog for now. She’s happy to pass by others on walks, we just don’t know yet if she wants to share space with them. Luna is not a fan of the crate so someone who is home more often than not who can give her time to acclimate to a new environment is ideal. Her biggest joy is hanging on the couch by your side. Luna  has a moderate energy level and walks pretty well with a harness. She is housebroken, but there may be an adjustment period as she transitions back into a home from a kennel. She’s very loving and attentive to her person. Although she hasn't lived with them, she is fine with kids.  If you can foster Luna, even if only temporarily, please email almosthome4dogs@yahoo.com     Luna is a 6 year old beautiful brindle girl. She is friendly and fine with kids.   Please email us at AlmostHome4Dogs@yahoo.com is the right one for you! (Local adoptions preferred — Philadelphia and tri-state area [South Jersey and northern Delaware] only.) PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING US!  We are NOT a shelter: All of our dogs live in private homes with foster families. Come and meet the Almost Home dogs and their fosters at our Meet & Greet events, where you can learn more about our wonderful dogs from the people who live with them, find out which dogs are on their way and when they’ll arrive, and fill out an application to adopt or foster. We cannot adopt to homes where electric-shock fencing systems or training collars are used. For more information on the dangers of electric-shock collars, please visit banshockcollars.ca/studies.php and http://www.hollysden.com/say_no_to_shock.htm (scroll down and click on the  "Invisible Fencing Systems" link). We do not have an online adoption application; to request an application, e-mail us at AlmostHome4Dogs@yahoo.com. To speed e-mail processing time, be sure to note the name of the dog you are inquiring about in the Subject line. For Meet & Greet times and locations, visit our home page, where you also will find information on our adoption process and fees. FOSTER FAMILIES ARE LIFESAVERS!! Can you open your heart and home for a few weeks to homeless shelter dog? Remember, by fostering a dog, you save TWO lives — that of your foster dog, and that of the dog who takes his place in the shelter! Come to a Meet & Greet and find out if fostering is for you — there's no reward quite like the feeling that you've saved a life ... or two!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 23, 2024, 9:12 pm
