Story
Razzle Taz has the most beautiful coal black eyes that pierce  your soul as he stares at you begging for some love and attention.  This boy was taken from an abusive family who were bragging to co-workers about kicking and tying him up.  The co-worker contacted Critter Cavalry and we found a wonderful foster family that is spending time getting to know Razzle Taz and what his emotional and physical needs will be in life.  This boy is 6 months old and weighs 32 pounds.  He is slim and  sleek and has the energy of 3 puppies.   This boy is so smart and curious and he needs mentally fun challenges daily and some real walking and exercise time in a fenced backyard or on the road running with an active person.  This boy is very smart and would benefit from games, flyball, agility classes, just thinking activities paired with exercise.  He is friendly with everyone and good with cats, dogs, children and ready to take on learning all he can about the world.   If your are interested in this Mountain Cur mix pup please write to us atccrnewengland@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 30, 2024, 2:10 pm

Story
Oakley, affectionately known as 'Dottie girl ' by her foster family, has such a sweet, lovable, big personality and is very eager to please!  This Pit/Mountain Curr mix is a total Phoenix that has risen from the fires of neglect, abandonment and even successfully raised her litter of puppies in the woods for the first 10 weeks of life. They were all successfully adopted in the Fall and living wonderful lives of love and commitment from their families.  Oakley is the perfect girl that lives with anyone and everyone that comes her way.  She embraces all people and dogs and she just lives her life with resilience and tolerance.  This girl might not be a Golden Retriever in looks but she surpasses any of the commonly accepted breeds that everyone gravitates to and wants to adopt.  Take her Pit mix package look away and please consider only her SOUL?  Trust us, you will not want to look elsewhere for the most perfect and beautiful temperamented dog.  Oakley sits on command and walks nicely on a leash.  When she meets new people, she is so very social and she embraces all other dogs, adults and children alike.  This girl loves to play dress up in cozy sweaters and loves a good chew toy. HOW FUN!???? RIGHT?  If you have children she is right there to engage and play with them and their fantasies.  This Momma dog is just a young 2yr old, 40lb sweetheart who longs to be an inside dog that can cuddle up next to you on the couch and help you melt the life challenges away.   Oakley had outsmarted many rescuers for months running around the county with her litter of puppies being. When she gave in we realized what a remarkable Mom she was and the beauty of her puppies.  All of her puppies have been adopted, but now Oakley is raising her heart and hand to say…. Pick Me Too!  She deserves a remarkable future and life because she will provide the amazing dog companion to someone that can ever be imagined.  Forget the wrapper on the package and consider the heart please…You won’t regret living a life with Oakley. Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Please mention where you life when you ask for an application:  City and state.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 5, 2025, 12:55 pm

Story
Meet Tommy! This lovable, playful pup is ready to find his forever family — ideally one with a big dog buddy and plenty of space for zoomies and adventure! Tommy is the perfect combo of fun and sweet. He’s always up for a game of fetch with his favorite ball, “fizzbee,” or wubbie, and he’s never one to turn down a tug toy session. He loves to explore, observe, and play with his people and other large dogs. Though he has plenty of energy to burn, Tommy also has a calm, thoughtful side — you’ll often find him quietly soaking in the scene during park outings or tagging along to dog-friendly events, staying close and curious. While initially shy with new people and dogs, Tommy is affectionate and loyal once he warms up. He thrives with routine, enjoys being included in family life, and absolutely loves a good cuddle — lap dog style if he can get away with it! Tommy has been learning and growing since he was 12 weeks old. He’s had formal training in Puppy Socialization, Foundations, Agility 1, C-Wags Rally 1, and Treibball. He knows all his basics — sit, stay, lie down, wait, and more — and is even working on doing them reliably in all kinds of places. He’s super patient during treat time (he knows how to take his turn!) and has completed Rally classes off-leash. Tommy would do best in a home with another medium or large dog for companionship and play.  While he hasn't had direct experience with children, he’s been around them calmly in public settings. Loud noises like fireworks or thunderstorms don’t phase him — he might bark if startled, but he's not anxious. He’s crate trained, trustworthy in the home with another pet, and saves his de-stuffing skills for when you’re home to admire them. If you’re looking for a goofy, affectionate, smart dog who wants to be your loyal sidekick — and who happens to love both tug toys and snuggles — Tommy just might be your perfect match. Story
This sweet mama has done her job raising her pups, and now it’s her turn to be spoiled! Nellie is a cur mix with a heart of gold, ready to trade in diaper duty for snuggle sessions and leisurely walks. Nellie adores people—big, small, young, old—you name it. She’s also a total social butterfly with other dogs and would love a canine companion to hang with. She’s got that gentle, lovable energy that makes everyone she meets feel like her favorite person. Cats? She says, “No thank you.” If you’re looking for a loyal, cuddly, sweetheart of a dog who’s ready for her next adventure (or just a good snuggle on the couch), Nellie is your girl. ♥ Nellie is located in North Carolina and is ready to head to PA as soon as she has a spot to land. She is available to foster or foster to adopt.   www.mostlymuttz.org https://facebook.com/mostlymuttz PA Kennel License: 10872 PO Box 406 Gilbertsville, PA 19525 #mostlymuttzrescue #rescuedismyfavoritebreed  #adoptabledogs #fostertoadopt #adoptdontshop #adoptme #unconditionallove ##2357510##
