Molly is a mixed breed, possibly with Mountain Cur/Bull Terrier; we have ordered a DNA test and are waiting on results. -Around 3 years old -She was surrendered to a vet to be euthanized because she pottied on the floor. -High energy -Likes to go and check in on the smaller dogs; she is like the momma of all of the dogs. -Leash trained -Does well in her crate at night, doesn't make messes and goes right in -Good with other dogs, cats, and children -Well mannered, happy dog. Happy to be here! -Very friendly and outgoing -Takes her medication easily -She likes to "talk" -Was heartworm positive when we took her into rescue in November 2024. She has gone through treatment and is now negative! This Pit/Mountain Curr mix is a total Phoenix that has risen from the fires of neglect, abandonment and even successfully raised her litter of puppies in the woods for the first 10 weeks of life. They were all successfully adopted in the Fall and living wonderful lives of love and commitment from their families. Oakley is the perfect girl that lives with anyone and everyone that comes her way. She embraces all people and dogs and she just lives her life with resilience and tolerance. This girl might not be a Golden Retriever in looks but she surpasses any of the commonly accepted breeds that everyone gravitates to and wants to adopt. Oakley sits on command and walks nicely on a leash. When she meets new people, she is so very social and she embraces all other dogs, adults and children alike. From what we know about dog breeds she is a Black Mouth Cur mix....mostly Black Mouth Cur and she is amazing. She is social and seeks the wonderful attention of the people around her. Topaz is especially drawn to young children. She is so young and so impressionable but yet the impression she has made on all the adults who encounter her is pretty strong in the category of 'exceptional personality'. We love Topaz but what we require for her is very specific. A good dog owner who has experience and knows how to guide, lead and shape a dog into an obedient and awesomely trained companion. This girl will outsmart first time dog owners in a sweet way. She will protect her family and their property and she will be the most devoted companion and sibling to all the children. Luna is a 6 year old 50ish lb beautiful brindle girl. She came back to us when her adopter’s housing situation changed. Luna hasn’t lived with other dogs before and we’re told she can be dog selective, so we’re looking for a f home where she can be the only dog for now. She’s happy to pass by others on walks, we just don’t know yet if she wants to share space with them. Luna is not a fan of the crate so someone who is home more often than not who can give her time to acclimate to a new environment is ideal. Her biggest joy is hanging on the couch by your side. Luna has a moderate energy level and walks pretty well with a harness. She is housebroken, She’s very loving and attentive to her person, once she's comfortable with them..
