Story
Xena, the 6-month-old purebred Mountain Cur, is a great choice for anyone searching for an intelligent and athletic furry friend. She enjoys playing and running around, and is gentle and affectionate towards other dogs. Although she may take some time to warm up to new people, once she does, you will receive an abundance of love and kisses. Xena had a bit of a rough start in life, as she was discovered alone under a building in SC when she was only 10 weeks old. However, she has made tremendous progress since then, and is now spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, housebroken, and heartworm negative. This furry beauty is currently on monthly preventative, ensuring her good health and happiness. If you are considering adopting Xena, it is strongly recommended that you have a fenced backyard, as she loves to run and play. Additionally, Xena would appreciate living with another dog, as she adores all of her foster siblings. Overall, Xena is an intelligent, athletic, and sweet pup that would be an excellent addition to any caring household. To find out more about this gorgeous pup and see if she is the right fit for you, get in touch with her foster family today.

Maisey (female) Description of the Pet **Applicant Requirements:** -Be at least 21 years of age and the Homeowner or Rentee. -Households with children under 8 years of age, must have a physical fence attached to the home or an electric/invisible fence. However, there are other instances when a fence may be required for the safety of the dog or puppy Name: Maisey Age: DOB: 11/21/25 Weight: Crate-trained: Yes PLEASE NOTE: To apply to adopt, the application and adoption process can be found on our website greenmorerescue.org. Please read dog's bio carefully before applying. Meet Maisey Maisey is a sweet, medium-energy pup with a gentle soul and a growing sense of confidence. She is still learning how to feel fully comfortable in unfamiliar environments, but she is making steady progress every day. With people, Maisey is affectionate, loving, and eager to connect. Once she feels safe and settled, she shows her soft, devoted nature and enjoys being close to her trusted humans. Maisey is dog-friendly and would do best with a canine companion to help guide her and build her confidence. She is also kid-friendly, making her a gentle presence in a calm, understanding home. She is still working on her leash skills and improving with practice. Because she is building confidence in new environments, a home with a fenced yard is most likely the best fit for her, giving her a safe space to explore at her own pace. Maisey is a kind-hearted girl who is just beginning to discover how good life can be. With patience, stability, and love, she will continue growing into a deeply loyal and loving companion. Adoption donation is $500 cash, $525 credit, debit or Venmo. This donation includes a microchip. There is a refundable $75.00 neuter/spay deposit. ***A NOTE ON BREEDS: The dog's listed breed(s) is the best assessment made by a veterinarian, pet finder or rescue staff and is not guaranteed. Story
This friend has just arrived to us on transport from a high-intake shelter partner! When our friends are new to us, we are often unsure of their full background. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and update their bio with more information as we learn. They are pending interactions with animals until they have been cleared by our vet. Please note that we often are unsure of house, crate, car, and leash training status upon arrival. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Please share! *Don’t let the gray face fool you, this boy is only 5 1/2!  Lewis is a mixed breed (we don’t know what his mix is) and weighs about 40 pounds. He is a happy go lucky dude who is playful and energetic, but can also calm down quickly. Lewis’s favorite past times are lounging on the couch or in a dog bed with a fluffy blanket, chewing on a dog toy, and playing with his foster siblings (dogs). He is good with other dogs, cats and kids, crate and house trained, but needs a little leash training. If you’re looking for a lovable, happy, semi -playful pup who just wants to cuddle and play with toys, Lewis is your guy. Don’t miss out! Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Hank, the wiggly, loveable one-year-old Mountain Cur mix who will absolutely steal your heart the moment his little nub tail starts wagging with joy! This 48-pound bundle of sweetness is friendly, playful, and adventurous, with just the right amount of energy to keep life fun without wearing you out. He's the perfect mix of goofy and charming, and he somehow gets even cuter when he's excited. Hank has this signature move where he literally folds into himself like an excited little pretzel, and it never gets old. Hank is housetrained, walks nicely on a leash, rides well in the car, and gets along great with other dogs and calm indoor cats. He's even a gentleman around chickens and horses, which is honestly impressive for a one-year-old pup still figuring out the world. He's working on sit and down, and with consistent training he's going to be an absolute star. Speaking of which, Hank would thrive with a family committed to obedience training because he's smart and eager, and the right guidance will help him shine. He loves walks, exploring, playing with dog friends, chewing on bones, and basically any adventure you're willing to take him on. Once he's settled into a crate, he does just fine and relaxes. Hank is the kind of dog who just wants to be included in your walks, your errands, your lazy evenings, and everything in between. If you're looking for a sweet, silly, and loving companion to share your life with, Hank is your guy! THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative.
