Franky is a 2 1/2 year-old, 55-pound brindle bundle of joy who’s equal parts cuddle expert and playtime pro. He’s been patiently waiting for his forever home for over a year, and we can’t understand why—because Franky truly is the best boy.
He absolutely adores his people and will happily snuggle up for movie night or lounge with you after a long day. But don’t let his love for cuddles fool you—Franky is also a fun-loving, playful pup who would thrive with a doggy sibling and a yard to romp around in. He’s great with other dogs, cats, and older kiddos, making him a perfect addition to a lively and loving household.
Franky is house-trained, leash-trained, and crate-trained—he’s got the basics down and is ready to move in and steal your heart.

ADOPTION FEE Covers: Core vaccines plus Lepto and Flu, all boosters, microchip, dewormer until clear fecal test & spay or neuter when completed by a DSDA vet partner plus any necessary medical care. All dogs are on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention and you receive the following month's preventatives complementary to your adoption!

Puppies (12 months and under) - $325
Dogs (over 12 months) - $275
Qualifications for Adoption: No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level, and life experiences. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.
Must be home more than not.
Vet checks are required! All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions.
Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address.
Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household.
Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting.
Willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment, and responsible care for a pet.
All poisonous plants must be removed from the yard.
DSDA is located in Dallas and requires a home visit on every adoption so only adopt to Dallas and surrounding areas.
