Franky will be thrilled to have another playful dog in his forever home. A yard and active owner is ideal. Older kiddos are fine, too! He is house, leash and crate trained. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs. Must be home more than not. Vet checks are required! All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions. Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address. Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household. Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting. Willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and responsible care for a pet. All poisonous plants must be removed from the yard. She's about 2 years old and weighs 45 lbs. From what we know she was kept outside most of her life, and because of this she was heartworm positive BUT she is taking her pills every week so she's on the right track! She is playful, silly, sweet, and cuddly. Her likes include treats, food, belly rubs, curling up into a small ball, and napping. Her dislikes include baths and carrots.Reese would do well as your only companion or would love having a furry friend to wrestle and play with. Unfortunately, my finder was unable to keep me and decided to surrender to the shelter in hopes that I will be able to find a fur-ever home! I am a sweet boy who is at an age where I can easily learn and acclimate to any family. Since I am so young, basic training, socialization and house training are a must! That way I will grow up to be the perfect family companion. My adoption fee is $125 which includes my neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, 1st round of puppy boosters and 1st dewormer. I am scheduled to return to the shelter for my neuter and rabies vaccine on Wednesday 09/25/24. This date is non-negotiable so please plan accordingly if you plan to adopt.
