Story
Meet Franky – The Sweetest Boy You’ve Never Met (Yet!)   Franky is a 2 1/2 year-old, 55-pound brindle bundle of joy who’s equal parts cuddle expert and playtime pro. He’s been patiently waiting for his forever home for over a year, and we can’t understand why—because Franky truly is the best boy.   He absolutely adores his people and will happily snuggle up for movie night or lounge with you after a long day. But don’t let his love for cuddles fool you—Franky is also a fun-loving, playful pup who would thrive with a doggy sibling and a yard to romp around in. He’s great with other dogs, cats, and older kiddos, making him a perfect addition to a lively and loving household.   Franky is house-trained, leash-trained, and crate-trained—he’s got the basics down and is ready to move in and steal your heart.   If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and joyful companion who’s been waiting patiently just for you, Franky is your guy. Come meet him and see why everyone who knows him loves him!   To meet Franky in person, visit http://www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online adoption application.   ADOPTION FEE Covers: Core vaccines plus Lepto and Flu, all boosters, microchip, dewormer until clear fecal test & spay or neuter when completed by a DSDA vet partner plus any necessary medical care.  All dogs are on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention and you receive the following month's preventatives complementary to your adoption!  * Adoption Fees: Puppies (12 months and under) - $325  Dogs (over 12 months) - $275  Qualifications for Adoption:  No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level, and life experiences. Story
Lola was rescued from a local shelter and now her owner has to give her up to no fault of her own.  She is a gorgeous, sweet girl.  She is great with small dogs and seems a bit timid with large dogs but we think she would be fine in time as she gets to know them.  She is obedient and aims to please.  She is about 9 months old, Jan. 2024, and weighs 50 lbs. ##1623586##

This is Zeus! My friends rescued him last year he was a street puppy. I took him in and we got him back to being healthy. He likes walks, he might be shy at first but he will warm up and get excited! He is a sweet dog he likes to play bite. He knows what the word No means he also knows how to sit and give his paw! I would like to keep him but unfortunately I’m not home most times because of my schedule with work and school starting in the fall semester. He is a good Dog he needs a family that will be able to take care of him the way he needs to be taken care of!
