Story
Shadow is a 1.5 year old hunting hound she has a huge story before and after her rescue with a very large following. She loves other dogs and seeks them out. She would do best in a home with another well behaved young active dog. She's been known to run but getting better and she currently wears a tracking device on her collar. She opens up pretty quickly but is very scared and shy without another dog . She was emaciated and on the run when rescued. She is now gaining weight and beautiful. She's spayed, vaccinated, chipped on flea prevention. She's HW positive and started treatment. Please reach out to me personally with any questions regarding Miss Shadow. Jenna Hughes 214-405-4384

Story
Lola was rescued from a local shelter and now her owner has to give her up to no fault of her own.  She is a gorgeous, sweet girl.  She is great with small dogs and seems a bit timid with large dogs but we think she would be fine in time as she gets to know them.  She is obedient and aims to please.  She is about 9 months old, Jan. 2024, and weighs 50 lbs. ##1623586##

Story
Meet Bitsi! Bitsi is a beautiful Great Dane/Catahoula/Mastiff (mom is a Catahoula and dad is a Mastiff/Dane) with a big heart to match her big size. At approximately 1 year old and around 100 pounds, this gentle giant is looking for a loving new home after her owner experienced the heartbreaking loss of her husband and can no longer provide the time and care Bitsi deserves. Despite her impressive size, Bitsi is known for her sweet nature and gets along well with dogs, cats, and children. She is both housebroken and crate trained, and she enjoys relaxing indoors where she has been accustomed to roaming freely throughout the home. Bitsi has no known medical concerns, has never bitten anyone, and is described as a loving companion who simply needs a family that can provide the space, attention, and exercise appropriate for a large-breed dog. She would thrive in a home prepared for a big dog with an even bigger capacity for love. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will happily fill your home—and your heart—Bitsi may be the perfect match for you. ❤️ Bitsi at a Glance: Female Great Dane/Catahoula mix Approximately 1 year old (DOB: 5/4/2025) About 100 lbs Good with dogs, cats, and children Housebroken and crate trained No known medical issues Has never bitten anyone Looking for a fresh start with a family who can give her the life she deserves Could Bitsi be your next adventure buddy and cuddle companion? Story
Vincent is an 18-month-old Catahoula mix who weighs 56 lbs. He spent several months at a city shelter before being rescued by his foster family. He's now living the good life while he waits for his forever family. Vincent is full of energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm. He’s smart, playful, and thrives on interaction, making him a great match for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and is ready to continue his training and development. Vincent does well with other dogs but can be a bit dominant with other males. He tends to prefer female canine companions and would do best in a home without cats. Vincent is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on his rabies, DAPPV, and Bordetella vaccinations. If you’re looking for a smart, energetic dog who will keep you on your toes and be your constant companion, Vincent may be the perfect match.  His adoption fee is $275 and you can apply to meet/adopt him here:  Adoption Application - Legacy Humane SocietyWe do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. Story
Meet Saint – A True Survivor Ready for His Forever Home! Saint is a stunning Catahoula/Dutch Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his story. This handsome boy was rescued from a local shelter after being found all alone with a severely broken leg. He was in desperate need of medical care, and thanks to the quick action of Legacy Humane Society and the loving care of his foster family, Saint is now fully recovered and thriving! Now healed and full of life, Saint is ready for his next chapter—with a forever family who will love him as much as he’ll love them. He’s housebroken, crate trained, and fantastic with people and other dogs. (He hasn’t been cat-tested yet, but we’re happy to do so upon request.) Saint is an energetic, athletic pup who lives for playtime. He’s a fan of fetch, tug-of-war, and zoomies, so an active home (and maybe a playful canine sibling) would be perfect for this spirited guy. He plays hard and loves harder! ✔️ Vetting Info: • Neutered • Up to date on vaccinations • Microchipped • Heartworm negative DOB: 4/23/24 ⚖️ Weight: 45 lbs  Adoption Fee: $125 If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a loyal, loving, and playful pup, Saint is waiting for you!
